UPDATE 6/10 545PM EST: Got confirmation from TinyCo that they WILL be moving the task to drop Pawtucket Brewery Tickets from Mort to another separate Character. So going forward, Mort will ONLY have the Dog Food task. Hope this helps some Players concerned with the visual drops on the Brewery Items. 🙂
Instead of Mort, the Brewery task now requires Brian’s “Drink a Beer” task.
UPDATE: It looks as though the new tasks were not supposed to release just yet. Hang in there, we may see there return as soon as the release of new content tomorrow afternoon.

Thanks, after the million crash marathon the other day I was finally able to get in the game and I stored EVERYTHING that was dropping coin or cookies, including characters. Guess I won’t be disappointed ever again if I can’t earn a decoration. What’s the point if they crash your game!? Anyway, thanks for the list so I can confirm I don’t need to have others out.

Mort’s task is only available “when needed”. So you have to be on that obstacle of the course.

Love the game but waaaay too much going on at one time…..
I’m trying to clear Stewie, Mr. Peuderschmitt, Diabeto, consuela’s warehouse, clear blue cookie trucks, clear gold cookie trucks, and get a boatload of mobster hats at the same time! Jeez!

So after my internet crashed i’m about a few hundred from being able to AT LEAST get Zoot Suit Stewie. Corleone seems impossible since the top 5000 have a few hundred more than me in Mob Rep. There just isn’t a way for players like me with jobs to catch up without spending a hundred bucks real money and fast forwarding actions. Even if i “catch up” someone is already ahead. What am i supposed to do? I’m forever locked out of something this way. If i wanted to “compete” in a game, i’d join League of Legends.

But is it still possible. Also i didn’t know of a crash, what happened yesterday for me to lose hours of gameplay is purely my own internet service went down. I suppose if they keep the trend of how they’re making these premium characters “useless” later in events then i can live without Zoot Suit Stewie or Don Corleone. Still, i don’t like this leaderboard thing, but i DO like the way they used the fireman event as a test and incorporated it so it’s somehow less “grindy”. I do see why they don’t give those with more characters an advantage but at the same time, for all those 90 plus characters i have, you’d think i could have earned some edge in these events from that alone.

I’m not really frustrated with the dog foods, I’m more frustrated with the Tacos for Diabeto. They won’t drop and I still don’t have him after constant playing for days. ughhh

Morts drop rate for the dog food has to be epic not uncommon easier to get the rare drops for insulin and tacos on Diabeto then the dog food. i have gotten one in 12 tries now. gonna try and break the streak i sent mort on a 1 hr task, thats just finshed so i have sent him to get dog food again. if it works just might rotate between the two. would much prefer to have to collect 14 and have them always drop then collect 4.

I have had Mort on for two days all day trying for dog food. Not one drop. I need 6. So far I am 0/18 or close to that.

Leave it TinyCo to continuously drop the ball and drop the ball and drop the ball regarding drops. The people have been screaming about the drop rate so what do they do? Nothing.

Just a side note… they are actually doing something about it. Started by removing the Mort task. More is still being looked into on it. (I also keep bugging them on it. 😉 ) The drops are working, I would just like to see it a more permanent task myself so you can continually try to earn them and not just when triggered. Hopefully set to common or another Character added too.

Does Mort actually drop dog food? I’m now 1 for 9 and haven’t had a drop since yesterday morning. I need 3 more and at this rate it’s going to take a week. Also, I had those new 2 hour tasks for a little while, but they’re gone now. Did everyone lose them?

As to the Dog Food, yes… he drops it… but at an Uncommon rate. 🙂
As for the tasks, yes… they’re gone now minus the glitching one for Fatfather (See top of this post).

Moving the Pawtucket stuff off Mort has not resolved the fact that Mort’s “uncommon” dog food drop is so rare it should be labelled Epic, not uncommon. Completely halted in progression on this event now thanks to 2 days of only getting 2 dog foods in like 14 attempts.
I’ve never had this kind of problem in any of the previous events, the dog food roadblock is absolutely insane.
I complained, suggested they add another character or make the drop common or always, and instead they told me to be thankful they moved the Pawtucket thingie (which I finished months ago so was never an issue).

Ok, that’s fine moving the Pawtucket stuff but what about Mayor Wests gift baskets? Last 5 drops were his blasted colonge! I have 2 dog food for the last 2 days…

i love this event so far. i am so happy there is no timer for taking down the warehouse after the first time. that really got me with king butt and giant octopus dude stewie and all the events similar to that. i gave up bc i never got what i needed before the timer finished. i love the leaderboard too.
ok, now i am off to reaearch what i am going to need to unlock diabetico. thanks for being so helpful😊😘
