Mafia Brian Mystery Box

Hey there Mafioso!

Now we are zooming through Week 2, figured I would take a lil time to cover the items in the Mafia Brian Mystery Box that came with the Week 2 Mobster Event Content.

What lies inside? What do the items do? Is there an offer in there you can’t refuse?

Mafia Brian Mystery Box

Let’s take a look at just what options you have for spending 100 Clams a try in the Mafia Brian Mystery Box.

WHERE CAN I FIND THE MYSTERY BOX?

You can get to Mafia Brian Mystery Box in two ways…

Shopping Cart Menu, Event Icon: Just go to your Menu, and to the Event Icon to find the Mafia Brian Mystery Box. Tapping on the “100 Clams” will take you to the Mystery Box Pop Out.

Mafia Brian Mystery Box Menu

Event Area Shortcut: Over in your Event Area, you will see the Mafia Brian Statue now spitting out Cash that rains down on it. Tapping on the Statue will take you to the Mystery Box Pop Out.

As with previous Events, tapping on the “PRIZES” button will take you to the details and information area of the Mystery Box. There you can see what you have left to win inside and some basic information on the items.

If you tap on “OPEN BOX”, the 100 Clams will be deducted from your Clam total and your Prize will be revealed.

Once the Prize is revealed, you have two options… “GO!” which will take you out of the Mystery Box and back to your game. “100 (Clam) RETRY” which once tapped will take another 100 Clams and give you another Prize. Mafia Brian Mystery Box Prize Won

WHAT’S INSIDE?

Here’s a look at what’s inside:

Industrial Cookie Conveyor BeltIndustrial Cookie Conveyor Belt (“Building”)- Sits on a 5×5 base. Pays out 850 Cookies & 40 Mob Rep every 10hrs. It is animated like the other Cookie Conveyors. Pretty cool to watch the batter made into cookies, baked, then put into boxes, then dropped into an opening to go below.

Extravagant Vegas Fountain ShowExtravagant Vegas Fountain Show (Decoration)- Sits on a 2×4 base. It is animated. The water spouts around in a kind of patter while sitting in your Quahog. Would look cool next to any other water fountain features or in front of a Casino or Tower Building.

Welcome To Quahog SignWelcome to Quahog Sign (Decoration)- Sits on a 1×2 base. Animated. The lights surrounding the sign flash and blink. It looks just like a Vegas Sign to me. Will probably look best in a gaming type area or city area of your Quahog.

Floyd WethertonFloyd Wetherton (Walking Decoration)- This guy will wander around your Quahog streets with the rest of the Characters and Walking Decorations. He starts punching when tapped. He also does talk when tapped on. His incoherent mumbling similar to that in the TV Series.

“I I I think that they are they’re gonna have that they are gonna be be fightin D Deidre’s last fight in the contrast to the later one is gonna be b b better than usually.”

“Well uh the match lastin bout uh up uh until about the particular inaccuracy particular unusually that that should be the ultimate determining factor in bout the 12 round experience heart of a champion m margarine hat.”

Clams200 Clams- Yay Clams!

Clams150 Clams- Yay Clams!

Gurl Scout Cookies500 Gurl Scout Cookies- And these kind won’t impact your waistline 😉

Gurl Scout Cookies750 Gurl Scout Cookies- Pretty sure you’ll know what to do with these…

As usual…the decos won’t repeat, BUT the Clams and Cookies can.

MY RESULTS

Now I know you are all wondering what results I got as I ran through all of this. Here is the breakdown of how it played out for me. (Your results may vary.)
Extravagant Water Fountain
Floyd Wetherton
“Welcome to Quahog” Sign
750 Gurl Scout Cookies
500 Gurl Scout Cookies
200 Clams
500 Gurl Scout Cookies
750 Gurl Scout Cookies
Cookie Conveyor Belt

So overall, 900 Clams spent with 200 Clams returned. So for 700 Clams I got a really cool Cookie Conveyor that pays out a TON Of cookies (more than the ones in the game for Clams), all the decorations, and 2500 Cookies. Not too bad of a haul for the amount I invested.

There you have it. The Breakdown of the Mafia Brian Mystery Box along with the results I had from it.

Did you take a chance at the Mystery Box? If so, what kind of results did you get? What do you think of the Prizes? Let us know.

  1. You people have to stop giving them your hard earned money because the price for things has jumped dramatically since I first started playing this game and they are getting way out of hand with how many clams you need to buy a character or building that after July 5th will be collecting dust in your storage never to be needed to get ANYTHING again with them! If they offered characters and buildings for say 10 to 20 clams I bet they would get a lot more people spending real money to get stuff. $50 real $$$ gets you what? MAYBE 2 players and a crappy little building that’s only used for a few weeks? If we stop spending money they might stop being greedy and realize you get more flies with honey than vinegar. Oh yeah the tuba drop rate was supposed to get better?!! Over the last three days I raided 21 girl scouts and only 3 tubas. And used a Luchador. And a mobster on Fort Knox and had 80 hit points before I attacked and after still had only 80! I really am getting sicker and sicker of get the shaft from Tiny Co. My days are numbered with this greedy company.

  2. I wouldn’t normally share something like this given how embarrassed and ashamed I am about it, but I don’t want others to make the same mistake. So here goes:

IMO, the 20k price tag on Tricia is a tactic to scare people into buying this mystery box in the hopes of getting the conveyor belt. Looking at the comments here, it looks like it cost people 700 clams, 400 clams, 300 clams, and 100 clams to get it.

While I never gamble on mystery boxes and was well aware of what TinyCo was up to, I figured that, worst case scenario, I’d be out 700 clams. So I went for it.

1700 clams later, I am the proud owner of the conveyor belt, some random decos in storage, lots of cookies, and 125 clams back.

I’ve never been so annoyed. I swear, if TinyCo reduces the price on Tricia, thereby admitting it was a ruse, I’m going to link to this post and demand a refund.

For anyone reading this, don’t do it!

  6. Hi, I’d like to ask “Is it worth finishing the optional slot machine obstacle for mob rep or just focus on getting cleveland jr. first?” I am asking cos I don’t what to do with the luchadors since they are so sparce.

  7. I spent 300 clams.
    1 – Quahog casino sign – Waste of clams…
2 – Floyd Wetherton – Wasn’t that excited for this, but it’s deco.
3 – Industrial Cookie Conveyor Belt – probably the best thing to get! I had purchased the 700 clams machine in the beginning of the event. So I’m stashing cookies like cookie monster. 😉

  8. Well I had 110 clams but it wasn’t tempting enough. Instead I’ve got a Mexican restaurant that looks neat as anything I could have gotten for 100 clams 🙂

  9. The only thing I really want is the fountain, and I don’t know how to justify the $4.

Bunny so far so good now. Let’s keep fingers crossed that they stay registering like they’re now. Thank you for your help 😍

    • I am with you – same issues and I have also verified it’s not a visual problem. Very frustrating and no response from FG yet either. Yesterday it seemed to get better briefly but I am back to the same boat now. It seems that when cookies are being counted at the same time as the fedoras that seems to be a factor to it not counting to the fedora…I think anyway. I will continue playing this thing out but I am not as vested in it as I was when I started, Too many glitches and the speed feed diebeto challenge pretty much took the cake when they changed their wording for the casino raid and I lost any chance of completing – AFTER I spent clams.

It does gets frustrating because I lost a lot of Fedora hats when they were not registering, and in game messaged TinyCo several times, but never got a reply. This game is fun but it’s gonna lose it’s luster if these glitches continue, and if it becomes expensive as the Tapped Out Simpsons game. Ever since the Star Trek event things got really skeptical.

  12. iPad glitch has stymied my progress. I keep getting upgrade required at sign in and then no upgrade at Apple Store, simply open, which starts th whole repeat scenario agin and again. Whatsup with that? Even my 22 y.o. Son can’t get anywhere.

  13. I am so hoping that they Brian statue spitting out money statue is offered up later in this game in a cookie paid mystery box, like the Brian spitting out hearts was offered in the valentines game. I am assuming that the Stewie statue will do the same, and they would look perfect together. Love and money!

    • Valentines Stewie is a fav of mine. Pretty cool design. 🙂

The “3 Anuses” on the other hand… yeah. 40K+ of Dilithium to get that Red Shirt. Phew! Glad they went back to Stewie and Brian this time.

Makes sense they would put these statues in another Rupert Mystery Box for like 1,000 Cookies a pop or something like that towards the end of the Event. Good call on hearts floating around Stewie like the dollars around Brian. It would look cool with both of them. 🙂

  14. I did all of FOUR pulls on this Chest. They were in order as follows:

    1) Floyd Wetherton
-I’m ALWAYS down for walking decorations/characters. That he is fully voiced besides just shouting, “Yoo-hoo!”, was super cream cheese icing on the cake. 🙂

    2) Welcome to Quahog Sign
-Meh. Definitely not worth the100 clams. It’s SO bland. 😛

    3) Extravagant Vegas Fountain Show
-I didn’t like this one at first, but when placed behind things like in my Town, it actually makes a pretty neat water feature when its’ base is hidden. 🙂

Here, I was getting “gitchy” on the run of luck I was having, but with 2 Clam options avbl(on decent payout) and the 2 cookies weren’t HORRIBLE rewards, I figured I’d take one more pull and got:

    4)Industrial Cookie Conveyor Belt
-I about fainted. 4 pulls in a row, got me the 4 items I wanted. PERFECT! I didn’t really care about the Clams spent since the Cookie Belt kinda “made up for it” in its’ investment. Getting all 4 items for 400 clams, really makes me want to spend more when the Mafia Stewie Box gets released. AWESOME!

I don’t know where to post this but the count on the fedora hats is inaccurate because they simply won’t register! I’ve contacted TinyCo several times on this issue and they won’t answer for help! I am really getting more than frustrated because when I finished the 120 hats casino raids it did not register!

I checked the visual points and followed everything before I posted Bunny. What I’ve been doing is before I collect from the buildings and characters or raids that give hats I screen shot my current count, and then I collect and add at the same time and when I’m done not all the hats register therefore making my count short and inaccurate. Everything they mention on the visual points isn’t panning out!

        • All you can do is wait on them then. That was the feedback I got when I addressed it. They said majority concerned were thrown off by a “visual” aspect. I saw it in my game too. So I can see.

But if there is something else causing a legitimate loss… that will take them time to first get to you (they are SWAMPED with thousands upon thousands of messages), then go into your personal game, test the issue, and let you know what they find. Sorry. That’s all I can offer.

  17. Haven’t taken a chance yet. The temptation kills me every time. I would love the industrial cookie belt or free the clams of course but I don’t gamble in real life and this is basically what it is. Well, actually, I will confess, when I go to Vegas I may gamble a roll of quarters or two just for fun lol. Ok, so may roll the dice once before the event is out 😉 but for now holding on to the few clams I have left.

  18. I have no tubas 😦

    Like

    • Play the mystery box maybe you will get tubas

      Like

      • I requested TinyCo fix the conditions to getting Tubas by either making them common or only use 1 Luchadore and the reply I got back was that the drops are working correctly, so don’t expect TinyCo to make it easier to unlock Cleveland Jr.

I’m stuck at 3 Tubes and tasks needing him to progess in the game, but can’t. Its BS that you have to waste 2 hours to hopefully get a Tuba. From how many missed drops I’ve had I won’t unlock Jr. until the last week of the event if I’m lucky.
