Just a quick reminder, these are SUPPOSED to be VERY CHALLENGING! So you will have to spend time, and possibly Clams to complete them. It all will honestly really depend on WHERE you are in the game itself. If you are starting from scratch, then it will cost you if you want to do it.
They are also timed. 24hrs to complete, so watch your timer closely as soon as you trigger it (Fatfather Peter triggered mine).
Let’s take a look at the Challenge…
TAKE DOWN 6 COOKIE COURIERS
It helps to always have Goons running around in your game. This is one of those many times it comes in handy. Without any running around, this one will be increasingly harder. I will explain…
6 Cookie Carries will Require 18 Show Girls. This means if you do NOT have any running around you will need to have you Characters perform the tasks to drop the High Heels (6hrs each). Then you will need to “Hire” them in the Copahavana at 45 mins each, for a total of 13.5 hours of “Hire” time.
You will also need to wait for Couriers to show up, which usually doesn’t take too terribly long. So I would suggest to clear one as soon as 3 are ready to open up the spot for another one to arrive soon.

SEND 6 LUCHADORS TO FORT NOX
This one again helps to have Goons running around. A lil easier than the Showgirls as it is less needed, but still… having some in your game already will cut the time. Let’s look at why…
6 Luchadors will Require 6 Luchador Masks. So if you do not have any running around, you will need to send Characters to perform tasks to drop them (4hrs each). Then you will need to “Hire” them in Copahavana at 1 hr each, for a total of 6hrs of “Hire” time.
Luchador Masks: Can be obtained from Mike Tyson Tend to Pigeons OR Mike Tyson’s Boxing Ring OR Not-a-Front Laundry Mat OR Totally Legal Entrepreneur Conference Room OR Bonnie Take Herself Shopping OR Diabeto Take Candy From Strangers
CLEVELAND JR TASK
First off, the obvious on this one. You will need to have Jr. unlocked in your game to complete this portion.
You will need to have him Leveled up to 4 (which was only a few tasks for me to get him there) as the task required doesn’t unlock until Level 4. Take Medication for Brain Storms, 16hrs.
So send him off on this right away as it will take pretty much a good portion of the 24hr timer.
2ND WEEK PRIZES
500 Mob Rep: Awarded on Completion of Enter the Dragon.
Dragon Statue (Decoration): Awarded on Completion of Enter the Dragon. Sits on a 3×3 base. No animation currently
For myself, I already had Goons running around my game as I have been keeping them on constant “Hire” since they launched into the game. So that cut a LOT of time off the total needed.
My suggestion is to start the Showgirls hiring first, then the Luchadors as they take a little longer to “Hire”. But if you already have all your Masks ready to go and need to earn more Heels, then send the Luchadors first.

Family Guy Addicts 
Hi,
I was about caught up this week, but now I can not get the School Girl outfit! I collected all her items and have over 2000 cookies but when I go to create it, the game asks for over 2000 clams!
I am updated, have closed the game and restated a couple of times and nothing seems to help. I have contacted TC but also thought I would check here for suggestions. ANy idea?

I cannot upgrade the lavish mansion..it keeps saying can check back soon to upgrade. I looked before and there was a timer but now it says check back soon..what gives?

Where are you in the Questlines? You have to complete the Week’s Requirements before moving on.

I’m also in the boat of never having had this challenge trigger. I’ve spent clams (including on Mr Myagi), I’ve unlocked Cleveland, I’m on p.4 of the Good to Be a Gangster questline, I even cleared Myagi’s entire questline to make certain I had room for new quests. Nothing. I truly don’t know what I’m doing wrong at this point!
I’ve tried the in-app support link to contact TinyCo, but, like any other time I’ve tried that, I have not gotten a response. Any clue what I’m doing wrong or what I can still try?

Contacted TinyCo saying week 2 challenge did not trigger. Their reply to me was: “weekly challenge quests are exclusive to payers only. they are meant to be for hardcore players and are for the most part not possible to complete without spending clams. I apologize for the inconvenience!”
Umm…ok…I replied making myself even clearer that week 1’s triggered but week 2’s didn’t and the challenge tab is missing as well.

I also sent a report. It seems maybe some got it by Mistake? But… if you bought something… it should have triggered. They are looking into it.

Maybe there is a minimum amount of clams purchased for each level to trigger? I got the 1st one (didn’t finish it in time because I didn’t notice it until it had 13hr left), but not the 2nd one.

I don’t remember buying anything from week 1 though…didn’t complete the challenge either. It was never clear to me if challenges were only for people who spend money during the event, or just challenging enough that you may have to spend money to complete. TinyCo’s response to me made it sound like you have to pay in order to get a shot at the challenge.

It means that anyone that used Clams to make a purchase in the past (not just this event I assume) would see these. It is more so as they know they are really tough and would require a player to compete that would have the means to do so. So they did not want to launch it to Freemium players that may not have a chance at all.
Its kind of like a Premium purchase, in a round about way.

That’s interesting.
I did read in the FAQ that they were for ‘hardcore players’ but it didn’t mention anything about payers only.
That said – the challenge absolutely popped in my premium game, and didn’t in my freemium game. Plus as I said earlier, the challenge tab is missing.
I haven’t had a response yet, but now I think it’s clear this is by design.

Challenge 1 triggered by mistake for many. Like you said, it was only for select players. So… if you do NOT have the tab… it is a good chance you were NOT supposed to get any of the Challenges.

Here it is, Thurs morning and I never got the 24hr challenge Enter the Dragon. Worked hard to clear 2 lingering tasks thinking that was the hold up, but no it never popped up. Any ideas?

Not sure if this has happened with anyone else but the challenge still hasnt triggered in my game and ive been holding off on doing the good to be a gangster part 1 task so clevevland jr doesn’t have to do it twice. Also i saw in a previous post that the challenges are showing on the menu but its not showing on mine. I already sent a ticket in just thought id see if anyone knew of a quick fix or specific task completion?

A few others stated it had not. All we can suggest is if the basics do not help, contacting them is really the only way. (Also make sure your task menu has ROOM for an additional pop up. If it is stuffed full… nothing new can arrive, so you have to clear some out)

yeah, it’s not popping for me in my other game now.
Looking at the main event tab (the don), the challenge button at the bottom is missing. I’ve seen it come and go, so I’m not sure what the story is. I have 6 tasks open, I’m sure I’ve had more in the past.
anyway… logged with TinyCo… hope they can help before the next week kicks off in earnest.

If you want… I would suggest to ensure your game is saved to an email or Facebook first off. Wipe out the current game off your device to ensure nothing is left (clear cache/date/etc) and reinstall a new and fresh game to ensure you do not have any corrupted files. Then it is just a few taps in the new game to get to the menu pop up (Chris holding antenna), log back in to the email or Facebook the game is saved on, the LOAD the saved file that shows the data and level you were on.
See if that helps.

Thanks – Before contacting then I did try that by loading up one of my Kid’s ipads completely fresh. Tab was still missing there, too… very strange.
I think TinyCo may be a bit inundated now – They usually respond fairly promptly.

Yup…you’re not alone. My challenge has yet to trigger. (on gangster pt. 5 at the moment) Been holding off on sending showgirls for other tasks so I can do the challenge too…I contacted them yesterday

Can’t say that I’m very happy that this triggered for me Before the show girls were able to be unlocked in my game. I know that I’m a bit behind, but feels like this rubbed it in a hair. Also felt like it was half a day in length when it triggered for me, but could be wrong. I wasn’t paying to much attention to it.

It is something odd in your game. When is the last time you messaged them? And was it from your game or an email?

1.) didn’t have Cleveland jr.
2.) didn’t know I had this quest cuz I hadn’t clicked any (!)s, came back to game later then it popped up and said I only have 13 hours.. Not 24.
3.) sent questions to TC, no response
4.) Don’t care that much since couldn’t even get the first one, but stilI don’t think they should have tied this certain player exclusive task to something that’s been a staple for past events

My timer for enter the dragon was totally off it ran down so fast it was less than half a day. I reported it to the game already.

I got lucky in one game, the challenge popped when I got up in the morning,and I had 6 fresh luchadores waiting for me. I also had the heels waiting to be used.
Knowing what I needed to do allowed me to plan in my other game. I had all the gear ready before clicking the Cleveland Jr unlock. That game was going slower anyway, it’s about 2500 rep lower than my main game.

why I can’t see any of the challenge?, also I can’t visit hubby town, because it’s says that I need to upgrade the app, but my amazon store don’t said that is an upgrade.

They just added three 2 hour tasks to get trombones. Quag and Jerome, I forget the other. I only needed one more this morning, so wasn’t paying attention.
You can advance to week 3 without CJR. They reset the quest to be a Lois/bonnie quest to enable the upgrade. He will be needed, but with the new tasks you’ll pick him up quicker…

Was really nice that TinyCo took the feedback they were most likely getting from the last “challenge” and made this one doable! As a premium player that doesn’t like using his clams to speed things up, I appreciated the appropriate timing. 16 hours for Cleveland Jr, 6 hours for luchadors, 13.5 hours for showgirls all within 24 hours is a grind, but I was able to finish with no extra clams spent and about 4 hours to go!
Keep up the great work ladies! This event started off rocky, but with this site it made the three days of being locked out not so bad. (Jk, those days out sucked as I’m totally an addict, but at least I knew what to do when I got back on! )

Just before this challenge started I was thinking how much I wanted that dragon in my Asiantown, and now it’s there. Even if they don’t add the animated sparkles, it enhances my town and makes me so happy. Thanks for all the details about this, the Takanawa take downs, and everything Alissa and you do as fellow/sister addicts! 😻😻 It makes such an awesome impact on the ability to plan.

This challenge has still not triggered for me. I only have Rise to the Top left from last week, and three non-event questlines (which all require me to still unlock Stewie) in my task menu. The rest is this week’s quest lines. Is there anyone else who’s in the same boat? any idea why it’s not triggering for me? I had last week’s challenge trigger for me right away.

I’ve sent them a message in game as well but in the mean time they’ve replied to my complaint about the tuba drops, so don’t know if they’ve seen the message about the challenge in between.
Hopefully not seeing the challenge tab won’t affect it, the first challenge triggered without having the tab in the game.
