With the Mobsters Event rounding in full swing it’s time to take a look at the characters/costumes you could unlock throughout the event….
Cleveland Jr. is the second character you can unlock during the Mobsters Event (he arrives during week 2), so let’s take a look at this pint sized Cleveland and see just what he’s made of…
Cleveland Jr. arrives in Quahog with the second week of the Mobsters Event 2015. As with (almost) all Characters in TQFS in order to unlock him you’ll have to collect lots of STUFF.
Here’s a look at just what Stuff you will need to collect to bring him into your game.
25 Math Books (Common)- Get From: The Slot Machine Obstacle (Promoter Cleveland’s Casino) OR Get from the Bouncer Obstacle (Promoter Cleveland’s Casino) OR Herbert’s Take Gross Old Man Bath
25 Golf Balls (Uncommon)- Get From: Atlantic City Gentleman’s Club OR Get by Clearing Cookie Delivery Truck
20 Tubas (Uncommon)- Get From: Clearing Girl Scout OR Get from Atlantic City Gentlemen’s Club
6 Ritalin (Rare)- Get From: Make Lois Kiss Peter’s Ring OR Get from Quahog Pawn Shop OR Get from Atlantic City Gentlemen’s Club OR Bruce Make Bathtub Gin
1500 Gurl Scout Cookies..Of course you should all know how to get these by now…

Cleveland Jr. is part of the New Characters Collection, so unlocking him will not help you earn additional Clams:
Cleveland Jr. does come with a complete set of Tasks! Tasks that will help you earn Gurl Scout Cookies and Fedoras (Mob Rep) for the Event.

Tubas still not dropping for me… in fact nothing except cookies dropping from the cookie girls. All my Tubas are from the building I bought 2 days ago to be able to move on. Additionally the cookie trucks are all gone, no one left in my city and I didn’t unlock Cleveland’s outfit yet. I already contacted support ingame some hours ago but this really sucks and they didn’t answer yet. Anybody else with these bugs here?

I still need golf balls to unlock him. Was trying to work on getting promotor Cleveland but there are no more trucks. Any word as to if those trucks are coming back if not thats the end of this event for me

Finally unlocked Jnr today and thought that would mean I’d be able to get on with the main quest. But no. First you need to get him level 4? Really? As if this isn’t taking long enough…

I’m at a stand still now, stuck at 5 Tubas for Cleveland and 3 task can’t progress without him. Using all the lucradores to keep trying for tubas but all the girl scouts are dropping for the last two days are dirty shirts. I’m kind of glad that after spending too much time and money on the Star Trek event followed by a couple of lack luster mini events that I decided to take a back seat on this event and to play this occasionally and as a freemium player so it doesn’t bother me if i unlock the new characters or not. end of the day once they max out their levels they’ll end in the inventory with the rest.

I have 6 tubas. 6. Granted I’ve wasted wrestlers on the casino (thanks by the way for making this a requirement for another task TC!!) , but at the drop rate I am seeing I’m sure I wouldn’t have gotten any either.
I am so behind in the event now and likely won’t get Cleveland until next Thursday. This Thursdays train is leaving before I even got to the station and I can’t even see the caboose.

I’m only at 9 tubas. I’ve been spending all my time on luchadors because he’s the first character I’ve been excited about in a long time. This has caused my rank to go from 50K down to 90K. But I WILL have Cleveland Jr. by the end of this!

Cleveland Jr is dragging this event down…and WHY aren’t trucks spawning for me anymore? It’s been like 8 hours since I saw the last one and I hadn’t even cleared them all at the time. Kinda makes it impossible to move forward…

Still trying to unlock Cleveland Jr. So far behind on tubas that it’s not even funny. It’ll be a miracle if I get him before I go away next week. I don’t even think my husband has him unlocked, and he’s been playing more than I have.

4 tubas and loosing the plot, past caring. Stuck on quests because I don’t have him. I wishTC would help with another character providing the drops, even if it was a 24 hour task for 1 tuba always, it would be more than I’m getting now.

Finally got the last tuba and unlocked jr. That was a grind. Uncommon….riiiggghhhtt. Now on to the next character (and skin) to unlock. Between the glitches, crashes and messed up drop rated this isn’t the easiest event but now that it’s at least running decent I am enjoying most of it. Lol glutton for punishment.
Thx ladies for this great resource as it has helped a lot with keeping up…well at least I don’t feel like this event is a complete loss. If it wasn’t for the week of constant crashes and goon loss leaving me completely unable to move forward I would certainly be in a better position, but since it is just a game I won’t lose any sleep over it. Moving forward and plugging along.

Any idea yet about the mob outfits for Lois, Brian, and Bonnie? Will they be clams only like Firefighter Brian or craftable without clams for a reasonable number of cookies? I’m trying to hold onto cookies just in case, although if prices are as high as they’ve been for Tricia’s outfit and Mr. Angry Washee, shouldn’t get my hopes up.

FYI: they have updated the drop rates and now the Girl Scouts drop the tubas and clothes as well as cookies, as per usual.

Yes, those who have not unlocked him are seeing the challenge. It is one of the four quests I have that require Cleveland Jr.. Even if I could unlocked him tonight it would still be yet another impossible challenge. At the rate if tuba drops we’ll be in week 4 before some us unlock him.

Currently having 13/29 tubas. Just raided 3 gurl scouts and guess what? 3 friggin shirts. Yesterday yielded 1 tuba, despite raiding 4 times. Hate, hate, hate this!!!
The “uncommon” (rather “impossible”) tubas are the only stuff missing to unlock the character.

In response to the question of if we’ve unlocked him yet, that’s a “no”. Still need 5 tubas – I had one drop this morning (about 15 hours ago) and nothing since then. Aside from the general frustration caused by the tuba fiasco, I’m disappointed because I was looking forward to Cleveland Jr. joining the game. I’ve been catching reruns of The Cleveland Show at night, and the show has been growing on me.
Is it just Practice the Tuba and Beat It that have animations?

Lol. Too funny. They are STILL lauding the Tubas as “uncommon”. I have been keeping track of my luchador/tuba ratio. In the last 3 days (72 hours), discounting sleep, I spent 55 hours producing luchadors and attacking Scouts, and I have received 1 tuba. ( I have forwarded this info to TinyCo). Since the announcement of the “patch” LAST week, I have only gotten 2 TUBAS. This is for real. Adding the shirt as significantly diminished the drops for the tuba. I have too many tasks that involve Cleav Jr. , and now they insult us with a timed ask that, I am pretty sure, MOST PLAYERS cannot join in. Oh, well. 🙂

I’ve been at 3 tubas since the 2nd day cleveland was available (they dropped at the uncommon rate). Then the drop rate has been NONE. NADA. WORSE THAN EPIC.

Lucky enough to get Jr just before the new 24 hour task started. Sent him on the 8hr Beat It task to complete A Fathers Son Pt. 2 and they give us a 16 task for him to complete as part of the timed task. Now unless the one task bumps him up to level 4 and I happen to be awake at 5.14am, the timed task is impossible again. I think my chances of getting any of these weekly challenges are zero.

LOL! TinyCo just added another 24 hour bonus quest that needs Cleveland Jr, who almost nobody has, to win a ton of Mob Rep.
I’m currently at 18 Tubas, so there’s reason to worry for me about this.

The only thing I’m doing is grinding futilely to get tubas. So no Jr yet, no progress on storyline, and no way to do 24 hour challenge.

Impossible to unlock him. Need 17 more tubas. But tubas dont drop as uncommon, more like epic, or never… TinyCo’s programmers should learn from their mistakes, but they dont. Sad. 😦

Love that they added Cleveland Jr. into the game. I was hoping for a Cleveland Show specific event, but this is almost as good. Hope they add more of Cleveland’s family in the future. This does bring up a question though, what does Jr. have to do with mobsters, seems out of place in this event. I would expect Vinny to have more of a role than Cleveland Jr or Diabeto in the event.

I hope it doesn’t take too long to level him up. I need one more tuba (but now only shirts are dropping) and to get that dragon you need him level 4. That makes it a bit more difficult, but I think still possible, as long as that tuba drops.

Well it takes me two 6hrs quest and one 2hrs for Jr. To get him to the requires level for that that quest which i think is level 3 not 4

The one for the Challenge for this week. Take Medication for Brain Storms. It unlocks on Jr Level 4. Unless they changed it after we made THIS post and I unlocked him.

Some of us are going to need medication if we can’t get the little guy unlocked soon…. 🙂 I’m trying to alternate between the scouts and the fort to see if that helps. Raiding the kids on bicycles doesn’t seem so helpful or visually interesting, so I will delay that until Junior is part of my merry little band of Qhahogers.

The second I paid clams to finish jr I got banned from the leaderboard. I’m not sure what I did wrong. I contacted them but they haven’t responded. My rep is around 13500. I don’t hack or cheat. Can someone help me please. I’d been working hard for my position and now I feel like I really got screwed. What can I do? This is crazy!!!

So let me see if I got this right, if and when I ever get enough tubas to unlock 2 updates ago’ s character his 1st quest is 16 hours long, but you must be level 4. And then to progress far enough for next upgrade you have to be thru part 8 of this gangster quest?

I’m worried about getting Cleveland Jr. on time to move forward with next week’s story. Tuba drops still don’t seem to be common enough. I only have 7 out of 20. I send as many Luchadors as I can to clear Gurl Scouts.

On pt 2 of good to be a gangster i need to take out sushi chef with 4 luchador. Now i finish all 3 raid will that still counts toward that once i get pt 2 of good to be a gangster or do i need to redo it?

Uhm ok kinda relevant with the post so yeah..the 2nd timed challenge has just started its countdown and needs a Cleveland jr action.however,me being 10tubas short on unlocking him kinda makes it impossible.so um,shouldn’t this type of challenge pop up after one has unlocked the character needed?I mean I don’t like to nag but,this really is unfair!!

Well at the start the challenge did mention u only see this if u spend actually money in the game, now with that being said i expect that these challenges are required u might spend some clams cuz they feel that freemium player won’t spend a dime to try these challenge and would complain if its hard so thats y tinyco don’t let them see it in the first place to avoid the complain. I expect this challenge would have something to do with jr. And i bet the next would have mr. Washee so thats y i buy the building needed to get these character items cuz i figure thats the only way to get them fast enough. I think these challenge only rewards those who spend clams,
