UPDATE 6/25: Got Clarification back from TinyCo on the Purple Trucks. The Purple Trucks will STOP showing up in your town once you trigger two specific spots. Good to be a Gangster Part 1 & COMPLETED Rise to the Top. (So the basically they will not go away until you don’t need them anymore… same for the Materials they drop.)
So if YOU stopped seeing them in your town, it is due to you completed the need for them. So use your Wiseguys for Fort Nox or Raids (if required) from now on. No worries on Cookies, they have already items in place that will still bring you Cookies to the game through OTHER methods. Ones already active now and coming soon. 🙂

TinyCo has put in a change within the game to help everyone get Cleveland Jr and to correct those illusive Cookie Trucks that went missing. (I still think those Rogue Firetrucks ate them all. I mean they DO taste like Cookies. Om Nom Nom Nom.)
TUBAS ALWAYS DROPPING
You will now find that the Tubas will ALWAYS drop for Cleveland Jr from the following actions.
Chris: Eat Cookies, 2hrs
Quagmire: Ogle Lois, 2hrs
Jerome: Distract Pit Boss, 2hrs
You should have no problem at all now getting those Tubas to drop.
COOKIE TRUCKS RETURNED
Maybe a inside job from the Twinkie Factory, maybe jealous Keebler Elves, either way those Cookie Trucks should be back up and running in your games now.
FYI: On the Purple Cookie Trucks, Changes dropped with the Tubas pulled. Coins, Cookies, Mob Rep, (and Materials if needed) will now alternate. So you will see a change in drops as they rotate around.
On the Gold Trucks, they never spawned as Fast as the Purple Trucks so they may take a lil bit to return. If you do not see them within 24hrs of these changes going into effect, please report it to them.
Two quick “fixes” to the game and you should be all set now. How are they working in your game? On easy street to get Jr now? Seeing those Cookie Trucks Again? Let us know.

Is there a known issue with Gurl Scounts spawning or am I just unlucky?
All I need for Mr Washee Washee is shirts, I have 6 Luchadores wandering around town and 3 more queued up but no Scouts to use them on. It’s been at least 6 hours since the last one spawned, if they don’t show up soon I’m going to be behind going into the next stage again.

From what we are being sent back…. those messaging in to TinyCo do have them in their town… just may be hidden on roads tucked behind buildings, decos, or other obstructions. They are not that big and travel EVERYWHERE, so make sure you have all your roads where you can easily see them. Only a few of them spawn at a time.

They’re definitely not there I’m going via the shirts option and it gives me a pop up saying I’ve cleared them all.
I finally had 2 spawn but only after an 8 hour wait. Still need 4 more (assuming 100%drop on shirts) no way I’m going to be ready for tonight’s upgrade now.

I posted earlier about how I’m still not getting purple trucks. I already contacted tinyco through the game and was waiting on a response. In the meantime ppl responded to my post telling me to contact tinyco.
Just wanted everyone to know I have been having an ongoing conversation with them since yesterday at 6 pm EST and they keep just giving me some automated response about being patient. No one from tinyco has actually looked into the glitch for me.

That is barely over 24hrs. I know it is hard when things don’t work in your game… but keep in mind you are in line behind THOUSANDS of other Players too all needing help. Give them time to get back to you. Normal turn around can be 3-5 business days for any company. So… Patience. 🙂

I understand they have a lot of emails coming through but when they respond I feel like it is reasonable to assume they will read the ongoing convo. My initial inquiry was about purple trucks – ongoing convo with breanna keeps telling me to be patient about gold trucks- which wasn’t even my concern. Just figured when I got a response it would be about what I asked about u know?

It looks like now the Gurl Scouts will always pay out shirts for Mr. Washee. When I click on one that is the only thing listed as a pay out.

I’m so glad they changed the tuba drop rates. I’m still working on Cleveland Jr. Two more golf balls and I can finally start working on the main questline, “Good to be a Gangster.” I feel so far behind.
I have never been so far behind in an event before. This event feels very different. For one it crashed so much. I’ve gotten all weekly challenges in events before and never had an issue with upgrading from week to week.
I haven’t even taken down Fort Knox once so I have zero spray bottles for Mr. Washee. I have 1/6 Tape of Mr. Sulu Show though I’ve cleared at least 4 or 5 Cookie Couriers. I’m not going to be able to upgrade the mansion for week 4 since he is required in the main questline.
There’s just too much going on. I’m working on my 3rd star for the Takanawa Family Estate. The goons feel like the bottleneck. I’m pretty frustrated with this event. I wish it could’ve gone much better.

First of all, thank you so much for keeping this website up to date, you guys are awesome. I’m happy to announce that after living in fear and frustration for way too many hours because of the disappeared Gold Cookie Trucks, they have returned! Also I have a question regarding Cleveland Jr. All I need for him to unlock is 2 tubas and to pay the cookies required. If I get the tubas, will the “clams solve all your problems” option still be there? So that I can keep my cookies and pay with clams, even though I do have the 1500 cookies? I do not get allot of them and I want to save..

The “Clams to solve” includes ANY Materials in your game. That means Cookies too. It is factored into that Clam amount. So it will take what you do have.

Like the Cookie Trucks… the payouts will now vary. The Amount of Cookies overall will compensate for the same amount you would have got… but they will now vary on what you get.

first of all, thank you very very much for all the time and money you spend on the game (not to mention every detail in all these posts). I also haven’t got my cookie trucks back in my town. Yesterday I’ve send TinyCo an in game message (including what device I’m playing on) and didn’t get any response. Five minutes ago I’ve send them a new message:
Hello, I still haven’t got any cookie trucks in my town. I’m on the questlines Lifestyles of the Rich Pt. 5, Good to Be a Gangster Pt.6, Become the Best. I’ve spend a lot of money on this event (to buy clams) and I’m only dropping on the leaderboard right now. I can’t hire anymore goons (have all the RV’s possible) and don’t want to waste my hired goons in case the cookie trucks are coming back. I’ve read a lot of people already have them back in their town, can you please fix my game?

Your issue is limited. That means it is not impacting all players. So it will take a bit to figure out the cause. Keep in mind, they are a company… so they get THOUSANDS of emails daily. Allow them proper amount of time to respond. At LEAST 3-5 days is normal turn around if not quicker.
Sending numerous message after message will only add to the numerous other Players waiting in queue for an answer and just causes more delays. If no response back within 5 days, then message them again. 🙂

Oh Tiny Co, why do you torture us so? What use will I possibly get out of cookie trucks dropping silver coins—easily the most useless item in this entire game. I have a bazillion of them already because we seldom ever get to use them for anything.

They just patched it yesterday, they only are supposed to spawn once a day… so give it at least 5 more hours… then message in. No worries, we are keeping an eye on it too. 🙂

Thanks bunny, I appreciate it just frustrated bc I only had 5 gloves left when crashed and now 2 left after 48 hrs from slammer and 20 to go from the last 2. When I could have had it done in 2.5 hrs. Now that only 1 left in 3 hrs I prolly won’t want to spend goons on 1 truck. When I could be earning rep somewhere else 😦

Message in to them from your game. It sounds like there is something else going on in your game as all 5 of our games are showing them and majority of Players here.
If there are some games still without, they would need to see into those games individually to see WHY they are not there.

I’m one of those who still haven’t seen the purple or gold cookie trucks. I did report it this morning, but not counting on hearing back from them. I still need coins to unlock the last four sections of land, but I won’t sweat it.

It is odd as only a handful are saying NONE at all. So they want those players to write in so they can look individually as to why. Majority of Players have them back to normal spawns in their towns.

maybe I am in the minority. I did not have any issue with Tuba’s. I cleared Cleveland Jr pretty quick. Also Washee Washee is one shirt away and Trisha I just need cookies. No way I will get that. I had a crach issue with the Golden vans, but they listened and gave me the 10 boxing gloves I lost. Odd, but other than managing the Copahavanna couldn’t be happier.

Hi guys – just need some clarification – I like many others had the cookie trucks (both purple and gold) disappear from my game. I see that they are saying that they should be back now. However, I still have not seen any. I’m just wondering if this could be because I have already unlocked Cleveland Jr and Fight Promoter Cleveland and no longer need them to drop materials?
On a separate note, School Girl Tricia’s materials have been dropping very well for me. I only need 1 hammer to complete and I have not used any clams. I really thought she would take me down to the bitter end. 😀 I love that they are using characters that are not involved in the main quest lines.

In our games before the glitch, one gold truck normally spawned about every eight hours. Now it’s been ten or twelve hours since they have been “fixed,” and none have spawned yet. I have strong doubts that the fix worked, unless in also increased the spawn time.

Mine is still dropping Mob Rep, Cookies, and items for Washee Washee as it is supposed to. Try some basics to see if it helps and report it if yours is not please.

Giveth n taketh…….been cranking luchadors and masks to get tubas. Up to 10! Hurray for alternate tasks but now i have long queue of luchadors to burn through, still not getting tubas but shirts from wagons. But other tasks are 2hrs so I can crank on them and burn the lucheees on the Nox, Will have to wait till am to crank on showgirls. But it is progress! Have purple trucks returned but no goons for em. Hard to plan what to do now. Moving targets and all.
Looking foward to walk through for week 4 to try and catch up

FYI
The countdown timer on the new tuba jobs is incorrect.
It appears to be on track to take 2 hours, but two of the three characters are showing time remaining of over 6 hours and over 12 hours.
Only one character, Jerome, shows the correct countdown time remaining on the tuba task (28 minutes left).

It happens now and then in the Events the Character timers go “crazy”. They usually right themselves and correctly complete in the time they were intended to. If you find that NOT that case though, please report it right away.

Yea they always finish in the intended time frame. 90% of my event tasks have been doing this. 4 hour task showing 20 hours and such. It usually shows the correct time if you hit the rush with clams button (and decline of course). Well actually i think a small portion of non event related ones were doing as well before the event started.

Do you beautiful people of this website plan on making a “farming” guide for cookies amd fedoras? I for one am starting to get confused on which progression to take. Should I be focusing on unlocking Cleveland Jr? Should I be clearing trucks or girl scouts or bikers? Do I do safehouse raids or fort knox?
There’s just so much to do with only 1 queue of goons. Not to mention the leaderboard competition as I’m pretty sure everyone’s aiming for at least the Don.
So overwhelming! !! Please save us with ur maths!!!

Me, too! Junior is still dancing, but now on the mean streets of Quahog. Has to level up before he can get going on the main Quest line. Not having a chance at the main quest because of lack of tubas was far more stressful than I realized until that stress was relieved. I don’t care about getting the perpetually angry laundry guy or Tricia’s schoolgirl outfit (isn’t it bad enough that she has to deal with her disappointed mother and tornados?).

Hmm… I have a glitch in my game. Ft Knox has been knocked down and that task is complete, but the intermediate tasks that had to have been completed along the way (50% destruction, 75% destruction, etc) are not complete. Messaged TinyCo and their response was “We can’t fix it. Sorry” How do I continue?

Keep going. It really isn’t “broke”. It just is a matter of when the Task triggered in your game. For me, right after I blew it up, so that is all I got credit for. Others… at 25%, so that is all they did. Etc. Just keep playing and taking it down. 🙂

But is anyone else having issues with the org Girl Scouts with the wagons being totally gone…on the tuba list they have all the new characters action but not the Girl Scouts and I haven’t seen any in my town except for the new bicycle ones and I have a ton of red guys that are stuck in my queue bc there are no Girl Scouts to send them after…

Nice they did something about the tubas even if it’s too late for many of us. Hope it makes them realise that they need to review item drop processes more thoroughly in future so that there are always at least 2 freemium ways to get drops if it’s not a 100% drop rate

There isn’t a known issue with the drop rates of the tapes like there was with the tubas, but there is an issue. 15 rare drops needed, each of which takes 3 of the showgirl goons. Even if the rates are correct on the tapes it is going to take a LONG time to unlock washee, who suprise suprise is a blocker for the next weeks content.

Hey addicts! So I’m a little confused… in my game the tubas were being dropped by the girl scouts and the cookie trucks were (supposed to) drop golf balls. So I am set with tubas but I am having a horrible time getting golf balls. If the cookie trucks were gone shouldn’t there be new tasks for golf balls since they were coming from the missing cookie trucks? Thanks for all you guys do!!

Same problem here. I reported in game already. We need cookies for this event not coins. And the purple trucks always dropped cookies before. That is thier main purpose when not collecting items from them. Hopefully they change it back soon. Otherwise we are just SPENDING 15 cookies on the goon to attack the truck and getting nothing in return. What a shame 😦

They altered the payout greater on the Trucks to compensate, you will still get the same amount you would have if they did not change the drops.

Greater payout? Im not getting ANY cookies from deafeating trucks. Just 10 coins and 5 hats. And i have already collected all the items (golf balls, ect) so those are not in the way. The graphic on the truck says it should drop cookies but it does not. I have tried it with about 5 trucks now 😦

Gold always appeared less then Purple… so they will take longer to respawn. Just give it time. Message them if they do not show up by this time tomorrow.

I never lost purple trucks, but haven’t seen a gold one in 22+ hours. Of course it is the one gold truck I need for the last 5 gloves needed to unlock the new Cleveland skin!

Great change. I already had two characters doing the appropriate tasks so got a nice surprise when I tapped them. A number of us were facing the next update dropping before we even got started with the quests for the current update, this should help enormously.
