Hey there Kibbles n Bits!
Bouncing by really quick just to let you know about a New Item for the Event. Looks like TinyCo listened and we now have a nice counter for our Dawg Coins earning in the game.
For those of you asking, yes… there are still ONLY 3 options to earn Dawg Coins as of right now. Two Freemium Buildings (Chew Toy Emporium & McKibbletown) and one Premium (Bark Bank). I assume more will come along with the Week 2 additions. Remember this is a Mini Event, they are meant to be more slow and relaxed. A much needed break from high impact full blown Events.
So sit back, relax, and enjoy the calm pace before we are hit with the next BIG EVENT. Which, speaking of, most of you have seen by now the information in the App Market when it was updated just before Dog Multiverse hit. Lots of lil teasers in there for the Upcoming Christmas Event.

Since the show “American Dad” has done several Christmas episodes that were all Amazing, I hope that they once again offer the “American Dad” Characters because the “American Dad” Characters are at war with Santa (episode- For Whom The Sleigh Bells Toll, & Minstrel Krampus) So it would be awesome to be able to choose which side you wanted to join, certain rewards for those who side with Santa and certain rewards for those who choose to side with the Smiths and the others who stand against Santa.
people who are completists would not like it since they would have to make a choice on which side to join meaning they wouldn’t be able to get everything, but why should all players be made to side with Santa, wouldn’t it be cool if you had the choice of choosing to fight along Santa,, OR choose to make War on Santa.
If they ever did a “Star Wars” event,, who wouldn’t want to be able to choose whether you want to ally with the Light,,or Embrace the Dark Side.
Would be really fun in my opinion to be able to choose your side,, me personally I am looking forward to siding with the Smiths and punching that (Fat Testicle Tickler) in the Belly.
PS. Bobby Todd (who allied himself with the Smiths in their fight with Santa referred to Santa as a (Fat Testicle Tickler) which was a LOL moment in the episode.

By the way, I’d love for the first week of the Christmas event to be about Black Friday and have a sale or chance to earn missing characters and costumes.

Honestly, I doubt much more gets released for this mini event. They are giving us a break and prepping for the Christmas event. The dog mu will come back into play at a later time, they just wanted to give us some teasers on it.
Newer players need a chance to catch up as well and this is a great time for them to do so before another big event starts.
In a side note; I want my Christmas cookies back.

I am finished unlocking and questing, i havent purchased any of the premium items so now waiting on the next part, I have 10 dawg coins and I have quite enjoyed this little event so far.

The way they worded the description of the Christmas event sounds is that we will get a separate event area like we did with the Enterprise for the Star Trek event. I doubt we have enough time to unlock all the dogs advertised in the Dawg House collection for this event and that is why I get the feeling they will continue with the Dog Multiverse after New Years. We may get a few more dogs in the next Phase but not all of them.

I would like to see a Surfing Santa or some White Boomers (which are white kangaroos that sometimes pull Santa’s sleigh instead of reindeer). Anything summer related to Christmas would be awesome, since I live in Australia and we have Christmas in summer instead here. I have never even experienced a “white” Christmas before. I guess that nearly everything for our games will only be winter related though..

Hopefully there will be another Christmas gift giving system where you could win prizes and clams every day per friend. Looking to add some friends now in preparation. Anyone with a town as good looking as mine like to friend?

“Battle”, not keen it springs to mind the same old format of battling a boss and the high stress of an event, Christmas is stressful enough. am loving this event, easy going, great animated tasks and new characters, brilliant after the last event. Please Santa I don’t want to do battle at Christmas, I would like a nice peaceful event, with no league tables with a level playing field, I can buy characters if I want, or I can choose not to. Aren’t the endless rounds of looking after family, shopping, cooking and cleaning, whilst trying to fit in work and sleep hard enough. Not an overly religious person, but with everything going on in the world at the moment, battling is probably not the most appropriate, even if it is a load of animated characters.

The word battle does make me a little queasy though. It’s Christmas!…or will be. I don’t wanna be battling, I wanna be just be cruising. It should be more like valentine’s event, where there wasn’t anything to kill or attack, just annoying couples to click (if memory serves me right). Regardless, I am excited, very excited. I just hope I have a phone again by the time this event rolls in ’cause playing every 8 hours on an ipad won’t be near enough to get anything most likely. I guess that’s my Christmas materialistic wish.

It would be nice to get Dawg coins (or anything, really) from the pet humans after earning the stuff for dog Chris and dog Quagmire. Cleaning them up is just pointless busywork at this point.

I’m sure this is not related, but do you by chance know when Barbara (Lois’ mom (Can’t spell her last name correctly)) will be able to get another chance of unlocking her again? I didn’t unlock her in time during the last year’s Christmas event and I was curious if we will get a chance to unlock her again. Is she going to be in this year’s Christmas event?

That’s a reasonable guess, although we’ll find out soon. The big dog store that costs 25 dawg coins seems to help with the dog version of Joe, who hasn’t appeared yet. Since it will take so long to get the coins for the store (I’m at only 11, since I spent 15 coins on other buildings and can collect them only 4 per day max freemium), maybe that’s all in the doggie collection that’s coming for this visit to the doggie multiverse unless they intend to make the others premium. They were pretty clear that there will be another visit.

As for this event, I am so enjoying the slow pace and the straightforward do A task and it is done! Nice and relaxing, and cute to see the other dogs visuals as most time, they are in storage. Still love doggie hell and little Jack’s obstacle course. Got Brian, Death;s Dog and Finn all scooting, too!
Bunny, hope you are enjoying the new job. I always loved the first few weeks of a new job, as you were so busy learning new stuff, no time for the inevitable boredom to set in!!

“Requires iOS 7 or later.” Looks like either I’m done with this game or hope my old iTouch can update to the latest iOS without killing it. I don’t wanna take the risk of updating my iPhone 4S from iOS 6.1.3 and loosing basically my life in the possess. Sure, you can play the game on Facebook but to be honest, it’s extremely inconvenient at all between being on the go a lot and it’s rather slow for me even with the latest versions of chrome, flash, etc.
Such a same especially since they FINALLY added in the character I’ve requested for a long time (Pinhead), I’ve spent a good amount on gift cards on this game, and I’ve been playing since almost day 1.

Sympathies. I kept my old iPhone 4 (in iOS 6) so I still have access to all my old software! And the much nicer looking interface (Apple went ugly for the first time ever in iOS 7). But the actual phone connection was shifted to an iPhone 5s in iOS 8 since it was getting harder to deal with modern attachments in e-mail, as I need to do for (gasp) work on the 4. Wifi connects both to the net, however. Maybe you’ll be able to do the same, with a new or used iPhone or Android phone, if your other device can’t upgrade enough. You might be able to pick up an Android that will run such games for a few more years more cheaply since there are more options.
I do that with my big computers also – actually doing my work in the much zippier and more useful Word/Excel 98 on an ancient G4 in classic OS 9, right next to a more recent Mac mini that is kept upgraded for searching on the web and running programs that require a more advanced system.

I’m at 8 coins. I like that it’s slower, but because of the two events pace difference I feel like I’m missing something. It’s not so jam packed.

I must say I would have rather seen another district. I mean I don’t have enough land to put all the buildings and stuff for new events.
