Family Guy Addicts 
Well, just briefly checking in here once again several months after the mobster event broke my determination to playing the game.
I phased it off my devices, one after the other until it was gone completely. Its game design and performance issues just made me increasingly frustrated and angry – and that just wasn’t worth it, regardless of how much better I like the Family Guy franchise over the Simpsons.
I’m still playing TSTO and enjoy that and the way EA runs the game, not intentionally designing events and challenges impossible to finish for the casual gamer and rewarding premium buyers in the long run.
In the end your (Bunny’s) advice to walk away if I don’t enjoy the game was really sound.
Keep up the good work for those who continue to like TQFS.

This series, (and the last one) is haemorrhaging viewing figures in the UK, combination of the new Dr not being popular with kids, (kids loved the silly childlike Matt Smith), and poor time slot. Used to be tea-time viewing Saturday night, but being pushed to a later slot due to other shows is killing it. Rumours are next season is being cut to a few specials. Enjoy it while you can as with massive budget cuts at BBC you may be seeing a lot less of the Dr in future. It’s one of few programmes I watch on BBC, do American fans realise every household in UK has to pay a licence fee of over £150 a year to fund the BBC. It’s not optional, if you have a TV in your home whether you watch BBC or not you need to pay it.

We have to pay to view it too… via cable or satellite service. Or donations to PBS to keep the station alive and UK series running on it every year.
I also heard of the “issues” with new Doctor Who and him not being round much longer. Happens to many TV series here too. If it’s not popular in ratings, it gets cancelled.

I guess at least it’s optional in States, even if you never watch BBC channel you still have to pay for it here. It used to be full quality programmes but now it’s just not worth the money.
I’ve noticed USA shows are cancelled often, we just get a U.S. series over here, look forward to next series and many times they are cancelled. They don’t seem to give programmes time to build a fan base, guess as you say it’s all down to ratings and revenue from advertising. BBC doesn’t have adverts, not allowed on it as its funded by us so sometimes that buys low rating shows bit time to grow. Hopefully it will save Dr Who. There’s been lot chatter over here for next Doctor to be female, but I’m not sure they would risk it. Wait and see I guess.

It is the same here. You pay for ALL the Channels in the groups of satellite or cable service… regardless if you watch them or not. It is a huge complaint here too. 100 of channels with nothing you want to watch, but it is the only way for many to even get to see shows at all. The ONLY way for us to get BBC is to pay for it.

Yes we have that here also with our cable and satellite, you pay so much and get a large group of channels, unfortunately BBC is not in any of the groups, it’s a stand alone channel, like a premium service only you have no choice but to have it, so for your £150 that’s all you get, BBC, we are one few countries that still has this, a state broadcaster. So basically if you have a TV or computer in your home you must pay this. They used have TV detector vans that drove around streets picking up which homes had a TV and no TV licence, ( this is what they call the £150 charge). They used print list of the best excuses people had each year, which was quite funny. Here’s last years Top 10.
1. My mum died. She had a payment card. I’m going to a clairvoyant to ask her where she put her card.
2. My son lost his tooth and the next day we found the TV under the stairs. We thought it was a present from the Tooth Fairy so didn’t need a TV Licence.
3. I only use my TV as a lamp. If you switch it on it gives a good glow which allows me to read my book.
4. The only way I can afford to pay for my TV Licence is if I sell my hamster, is that what you want me to do?
5. I don’t use my TV to watch TV programmes. I use it to hang my clothes so they dry.
6. My house was invaded by a squirrel which weed on my TV, so now it doesn’t work properly.
7. I was told I didn’t need a TV Licence because I haven’t got a remote control.
8. I couldn’t afford to pay it as I had to get the cat neutered.
9. I’m Australian and I only watch Home and Away and Neighbours, and I don’t pay for a TV Licence in Australia, so I shouldn’t have to pay it here. Australia is 12 hours ahead, so it’s not live here.
10. I don’t want to pay for a licence for a full year. Knowing my luck I’ll be dead in six months and won’t get value for money.
Our other channels are becoming more like USA with lots adverts, used be only 4 minutes of advertising allowed in any one hour programme, but it then crept up to 7, now it’s 12 minutes an hour.

When this event finisth in Spain (Europe)? I need to know the exact time, because I want to unlock K-9 Joe but don’t want to use a lot of clams (so the last minute of this event will be precious).

Honestly, the best doctor who left me feeling nothing. It felt like there was supposed to be something more but then the departure happened and they left it the way they planned. It didn’t feel like an ending…maybe that’s just me.

Hi, I’ve had a shift in perspective on Family Guy events that I wanted to share. Curious if other people are seeing the same thing.
When I first started this game, Star Trek was in full swing. But I didn’t care much about it, I would visit the spaceship and be confused about what I was supposed to do. I am a Star Wars girl, Star Trek was … meh. Then I noticed purple trees and bushes. I spent all my Star Trek money making elaborate mazes of purple bushes and forests of chompy plants. I only got the Star Trek characters I was required to get because, well, it’s not like it was Star Wars or anything that good, to me.
The last week or so of the event, the character compulsion hit me. I felt like I had to have ALL of them NOW. I worked hard and never got Picard or Star Trek Lois. That’s how far I got, and I was sad for a bit.
But in the end, I’m really happy for the purple bushes and trees. Lois would look hot in her outfit, but it wouldn’t be that useful to me now. Now the purple trees, that’s an entirely different thing. They make me VERY happy and look awesome mixed in with my shrooms from peterpalooza.
My point to this post is to do what makes YOU happy. It’s ok to miss some stuff. Odds are that even if its something sexy like Star Trek Lois, it will just sit in inventory. Don’t get caught in the hype.

This is my first time visiting this website and I don’t play this game. I play TSTO though and I am shocked that TSTO ppl run both sites! They are so resourceful!

So this is a question for my fellow addicts – has anyone here that uses an iPad 4 updated to iOS 9? I’d like to update my iPad but have been unable to get a concrete answer on whether or not FG:TQFS will still work. (I’ve heard it can vary from device to device.) So if anyone with an iPad 4 running iOS 9 could let me know how the game runs it would be really appreciated. Thanks.

I have an iPad 4 and I’ve been updated to iOS 9 since it came out (maybe a couple days after the initial release) and I haven’t had any problems. I also have more than half my storage available and a mostly uncluttered town, which I think has something to do with performance issues. That’s my experience, if you update hope it all goes as smoothly for you.

I’m running iOS 9.1 on an earlier/older iPad (purchased July 2012). Have been playing FGQFS for about 4 months. I have had very few problems. Only the occasional crash where I have to redo some tasks. Occasional Freezes that clear on their own in a couple minutes or quicker. I’ve never lost anything that I am aware of but I’m a pretty casual player. So, more specifically, the game has continued to run well even after updating to iOS 9 and then iOS 9.1. Hope this helps.

Doing something different this year for Thanksgiving. My local immediate family is small (4 people). We’re going out to a Thanksgiving brunch. Should be interesting.
Playing catch up with this years “Fargo.” Once again, quite disturbing.

That’s so great. Why are the fans of TSTO so much better than FGTQFS (and yet the game so much worse). It’s funny how there’s hundreds of comments on the baby post on that site, and barely any on this one. Is TSTO site visited more, or do the people just act more friendly on that site?
Also, if you’re looking for shows watch the Blacklist. Best newish show. Blacklist, Walking Dead, South Park, and of course Grimm is the best show line up ever, of shows on air still. Can’t be beat.

People are more kind and respectful there. Visit it more. More of a community feel. Here people are more cut throat and have more a “Me Me Me” Mentality and could care less for one another or The Addicts. It’s really sad. People wish us more hatred and harm here.
There are still a few here that do care… but nothing like on TSTO side.

Well that’s just sad. I assumed that was the reason, but it really makes me wish I could get into TSTO but it’s just not my game. I have seen that even the people who weren’t so rude and selfish have either stopped visiting this site or stopped posting as much. Thanks for not giving up on those who do care!

I know (at least for me) I used to come here religiously, every time something new came out. I would pour over the comments and would often pick up a trick that I had not thought of. I may not have posted much but I was reading. I really got turned off though somewhere around Cleveland Jr and the tubas. More often then not I was just reading complaints after complaints all about the same issues. Now I still come on and read the posts (they are great by the way- they help immensely.) But I tend to stay away from the comments section. (except now apparently :P) Keep up the great work Bunny, I promise there are still respectful and nice people reading the site 🙂

Fellow whovians! This name, which I use for most online account names, comes from good ok captain jack! I forgot the new season had started, so I’m going to have to binge watch it 🙂 I’m caught up on the newest doctors first season.
I remember when I was in high school and my friends dad had a box full of vhs tapes that all just had doctor who episodes on them! Then when the series rebooted, I was happy as a kitten!

can anybody tell me like if i wanted to make a brand new game(start from clear at the beginning again), how can i do that exactly?! is it possible for me to make a new email then make a new account on my same phone i’m using already for the game?! one i have now i’m using my Gmail account and i’ve NEVER logged in wit my Facebook account. You can, just be very careful. The biggest thing you need to watch out for is to NEVER EVER LINK accounts once the additional is made. Always use the LOAD feature instead. The ONLY time you will want to use the LINK option is the very first time making a brand new game. Completely uninstall the app and reinstall… start a new District 1 game, then LINK it to an alternate email. (You will see the Load option, but in just this one time only… use Link). You then will Link the New District 1 game to the email and now have two games.
From there on out… ONLY USE LOAD. Log in and LOAD one game, log in and LOAD another game. If at anytime in the future you hit LINK again… you will accidentally merge the two accounts. This could be a very annoying thing to happen. No worries though, there are like several warnings as you walk through it. “Are you sure this is the right game? Continue?” Etc. Just saves you a lot of time and hassle to not Link them and then wait for TinyCo to unlink them again. (Which can take upwards of at least a month depending on the progression of each game)

yes i did this one during the new year event with my and my wife’s games and it took them a month to fix it. My wife played my game while we were waiting for them and I had to start a new game and was up to level 40 something, then they straitened out the games. When my wife got her game back she thought she was missing characters as I had about 10 more than she did, and she was playing the event on my game, so when she unlocked characters it was for my game not hers, so when she got her game back she didn’t have them. We got frustrated and took a break from the game for a couple of months just because I linked instead. Lol, I’m stupid sometimes.

Week’s not been to bad other than work lol. Gaffe started watching The Flash on Netflix, seems pretty good so far! Not been watching the Capaldi Dr Who’s but I suppose I’ll get round to it one day lol!

I spend my extra cash on scratch off tickets. Better payout than games that have none. Almost have all the characters from this event. So it can be done for free. Just saying.
