Hey there Huskies!
With the Event winding down in the game later today, I just wanted to bounce on by with a little more information and my personal experience with the Dog Multiverse Mystery Box.

First up, and I seriously can’t say this enough… Mystery Boxes have always been and ALWAYS will be nothing more than a Gamble. A pull on the lever while sitting at a slot machine in a Casino. So… Buyer Beware!!! You NEVER have to take a go at a Mystery Box. Ever. To do so is YOUR choice. Just be prepared to take the consequences with the amount of Clams you put into them. Again, your choice to gamble.
Now let’s take a look at the Prizes inside.
RUPERT DOGGIE BUSINESS MYSTERY BOX
As with past Mystery Boxes, Prizes inside will vary upon who/what you already have in your game from the past. There will also be repeatable items within the Mystery Box too. This really makes your chances at getting what you want random. So just what comes in this one?
Human Walker (Decoration)– This item can repeat. Sits on a 2×2 base. The Human pants and looks to be growling while sitting in your town. Her Dog Master pulls on her leash when she growls. When tapped she turns to her Dog Master and begs for a treat which he tosses to her.
Human Control Truck (Moving Decoration)– This item can repeat. It drives all over your Quahog Streets like your Characters move around. The lights on it do flash now and then.
Dog PeterCopter (Decoration)– This item can repeat. Sits on a 2×3 base. The blades turn round while it sits in your town. When tapped, it takes flight for a few seconds and then lands again after the back rotors start to smoke and give out.
Rocket Dog (Decoration)– Sits on a 2×2 base. The Astronaut Dog waves while sitting in your game. When tapped, he salutes, shuts the door, the Rocket takes off only a few feet in the air before sputtering out, then lands again. The doors open to the Dog rubbing his head.
Human Spay & Neuter Clinic (Building)– Sits on a 5×4 Base. Earns $60 & 40xp every 12hrs. No interaction or animation yet that I have seen.
Human Adoption Center (Building)- This item can repeat. Sits on a 4×5 base. Earns $40 & 25xp every 6hrs, Chance 1
Drool Wipe. I had to giggle that Opie and a Lost Boy were in the backyard as well as a “sad baby” in the window kind of like a “sad puppy”.
Jasper (Character)- I had Jasper already from the past, so I did not have to try for him in the Mystery Box. He is a fully tasked Character. He has been randomly involved in other Events too. He is also voiced.
Bitch Brian (Character)- (If he comes with his Clone Machine, the payout is $60 & 40xp every 12hrs) I had him already from the past, so I did not have to try for him in the Mystery Box. He is a fully tasked Character. He is also voiced. (FYI: Those “missing” Bitch Brian from the past, see my notes from TinyCo on the Week 2 Post.)
Jack (Character)- I had him already from the past, so I did not have to try for him in the Mystery Box. He is a fully tasked Character. He is also voiced (barks and such).
3 Dawg Coins- These can repeat. These can come in handy if you want any of the Dawg Coin Event items
50 Clams- These can repeat. Everyone wants Clams
250 Clams- These can only be won one time than they will go from the Mystery Box.
STRAIGHT FROM TINYCO!
Here is the In-Game FAQ per TinyCo on the Mystery Box….

You can win the following prizes from the Doggie Business Mystery Box:
- Human Walker (deco) – can repeat!
- Human Control Truck (moving deco) – can repeat!
- Dog Peter Copter (deco) – can repeat!
- Rocket Dog (deco)
- Human Spay & Neuter Clinic
- Human Adoption Center – can repeat!
- Jasper
- Bitch Brian
- Jack
- 3 Dawg Coins – can repeat!
- 50 clams – can repeat!
- 250 clams – will NOT repeat
Characters, buildings, and decos (other than Human Walker, Dog Peter Copter, Human Control Truck, and the Human Adoption Center) will not repeat. Currency (other than the 250 clam prize) and materials CAN repeat.
MY “LUCK”
I personally am not a huge fan of most Mystery Boxes as many times I have spent WAY too many Clams on them for the trinkets inside. This one, I really really did not like. The Payouts in my opinion were awful. Too many of the items I really did not care for. I personally like the ones that ONLY the Materials repeat, not the Decorations or Buildings.
Anywho, this is how my “luck” played out. For the sake of the site, I kept going til I got all I had available to me… even though I didn’t want to.

And this was my stopping point as I already had all the Characters. Overall this was my total spent and items won…
Human Control Truck-5
Dog PeterCopter-6
Human Walker-3
3 Dawg Coin- 5 = 15 Dawg Coins
I won a total of 400 Clams (3-50 & 1-250), but I spent 1950 Clams on 26 spins in the Mystery Box to get all the items I had available to me. So roughly with returned Clams, 1550 Clams spent. More than I care to spend honestly.
Remember, this is a HELPFUL post. If you wish to rant on the Mystery Box… take it to the What The Deuce Posts ONLY. Otherwise ONLY share results please, common discussion, nothing more.
There you have the overall look of the Rupert Doggie Business Mystery Box and the items inside. My opinion is pass on it unless you plan on investing an INSANE amount of Clams to get the items inside. Think if it is really worth it to you to get just a few Characters. I didn’t.
What payouts did YOU get from the Mystery Box? Giving it another go? Passing on it? Let us know.
~Bunny

I find it weird that they went with 50 clams instead of 75. So it is not even a free play. I thought usually it was at least the price of the box.

Nope. It is usually 75% of the cost or 125% of the cost in Clams

I really wanted the three characters – Jasper, Bitch Brian & Jack, but out of them, I only got Jasper. I spent an obscene number of clams, but by the third unwanted Petercopter, I gave up. At least I won clams a few times to soften the blow.

I spent way too many clams on this mystery box. All I wanted was Jasper and Bitch Brian. Btw both characters come with their original questlines so it was funny to see Jasper talking to Santa and reference Christmas.

You are right Bunny, you do need to invest an INSANE amount of clams on the Mystery box, even then you still may not get anything you want or think is worthwhile from it. I have already shared my experience on the “What The Deuce” page though, so I will say nothing more about it here. Personally, I would really rather just buy the items/characters straight out with clams, at least then I would know what I am going to get.

I have read about the bad luck that people have had with this box pertaining to Bitch Brian. But I would be curious for anyone who had none of the three playable characters at the start, what their results were. I guess I am trying to wade through if there is value in buying these characters as premium items (as Bitch Brian and Jack were at the time of their introduction) or waiting until they may become available in mystery boxes and try the chances there. Since Bunny already had them, her results don’t really help. Although, I couldn’t agree more with her regarding repeating items. Repeating decos can be tough to swallow when you are shooting for a playable character. Materials have some value. I mean, how many Dog PeterCopters can you put in storage?

I had Jack, but was going to try for Bitch Brian, Jasper, and the Adoption Center. As I wanted three items, I allowed myself 3 tries at the box. Got Jasper, the Adoption Center and 250 Clams. Because I got the clams, I allowed myself one more try, and got the copter and stopped.
