WHAT THE DEUCE… Pain after surgery SUCKS. Why does someone stabbing me and cutting me all over as well as removing parts have to hurt so much? Where’s the “Future” technology where they beam the bad parts away or midi-chlorians … err… nano-bites come and auto repair you???!!!

On the hotel quest for the bronze keys in looked it up and it said stevie tanning and gave a few other characters who gave the bronze keys But they are not giving the keys ,how do I get them,,

Two and a half weeks into the event, and I’m still at 13/32 dragon scales for Westley. Meaning I can do nothing else in the meantime, as it takes waaaay to long to grind the potions to attack the dragons (that may or may not appear within 24 hours). Seriously, who programs this stuff?

Ok, so going ahead with my 18th attempt to get singing swords. None yet, usually takes an average of 14-18 hrs per attempt. Kinda frustrating to say the least. Looks like a fun event tho, wish I could play:( I guess they just don’t like me. I contacted tinyco, and they said they’re looking into it. Spend all my time with Bonnie and Lois getting arrows, that they can’t get buckets. Just poorly set up, and no real help. Too bad, cause it looks like fun.

Frustrated about the visibility to the potions earned. You can only see these if the dragon is active. And you can’t click on the dragon just to check potions counts because it triggers the 24 hour timer. So I have resorted to keeping track on a piece of paper instead. There has to be a better way?!

I would love a TRUE inventory feature as well. This is my 3rd event that really needed one. {Yes I submitted feature request} I keep things on pad. VERY helpful when items appear before they are needed in a questline (ex. I was gathering gloves before wrestling appeared as an option)

Does anyone know when the leaderboard prizes from the star track event will drop? I ranked around 3300 based on the 13,000+ lithium bars I collected, yet still have not received my cyborg puppy. I messaged tinyco along with a pic of the leaderboard after the event ended but have not heard back from them. (This will be the third time I’ve messaged them from the game about an issue and they haven’t answered me…) Thoughts?…

I’m just wondering if you have and are using Touchdown Jesus to try for clams. I’ve sent him every day since I got him and no clams. I know it sounds like a common gripe, and I know that it is a rare drop, but it’s been a month. I asked Tinyco and got an automated message about not helping with football because it is over. The second time I got the”drops are as expected” copy and paste they send to everyone as well. Is it just me or a common issue that I should try contacting them again?

Hi Bunny, This is not really a reply to this comment, I just do not know how to make a comment without replying. What is the deal with the drops in this event. I am still trying to get medieval peter and wesly. Cannot even get past main quest 7 to get second week items. Also why does TinyCo replace Buzz Killington with another character if they are not going to bring him back. Lots of players have all the characters except him and cannot get the bonus clams. Thanks and have a good one.

The game is always set up that items drop in stages and phases. They will take time. All you can do is keep trying.
Make sure you restart your device to out any patches they’ve sent out in place.

WTD! Just about a week of trying, about 2 archery training sessions per day and I’m still missing 5 singing swords for Sir Peter. This is really frustrating. Even if I unlock Sir Peter today, which seems unlikely, I’m still at least a couple of days behind on the main quest line task-wise, and have a long way to go to reach honor level 4.
I’m tired of being so far behind, so early in every single event! I bought the little beanstalk greenhouse thing too, thinking magic beans were going to be the big holdup. (Certainly would be behind there too, without that purchase).
If they’re not going to make drops easier or more consistent, they should at least not make hard-to-collect-for things necessary to access the next week’s content. If there’s a new character to collect for next week, we should be able to make SOME progress towards earning that character while still catching up on Sir Peter and Westley. (And is Westley meant to take several weeks to unlock? I sure hope so…)

I too am a victom of lousy arrow drops, poor peter spends most of the time in store waiting for arrows. It seems it’s taking me around 16 hours to get 4 arrows, and thats 4 attempts every 4 hours, lois, bonnie, bruce, and shoe house witch has only droped one arrow in 3 days. So my average is 1/4 attempts every 4 hours. The only way im not falling to far behind is i bought the golden goose becouse when i do send peter he never comes back with an egg, so becouse of buying the goose i have everything on page one.and also as soon as i got the goose and i can finally get 4 arrows it seems peter has brought back eggs as well. So there you go tiny co. Forcing people to buy things to progress. What The DEUCE. ……

I don’t feel as bad. . . I’m only on 4 times (took 4ever to get arrows to drop!) and still no egg. A lot of things depending on egg drops, so this is putting us all behind in things already!

Rewinding a bit to the Football Event, I don’t think anyone was too happy with the way the games played out. The crucial games 3 and 6 took so long to “win” that the vast majority couldn’t even start on game 7 or Silly Nanny Peter until the last few days of the event, by which time unlocking Silly Nanny Peter was a lost cause. In week three, with game 6 “won”, I had enough footballs to “win” games 7 and 8, but it took me two days to complete the one touchdown required to progress along the main week two questline – before game 7 would even unlock!
The kicker, so to speak? I spent hundreds of my hard-earned clams rushing games 7 and 8 as well as various material drops to get Touchdown Jesus. The skin then appeared locked in my inventory until I force-closed and went back in. I had Touchdown Jesus on task for two whole weeks during the Second Contact event and this pretender didn’t drop a SINGLE CLAM. I then switched back to regular Jesus who dropped clams first time. What a waste.

TinyCo created the nightmare situation that had everyone complaining about Dilithium last year, dropped tons of excess Anti-Matter this year (51k or so in my case), dangled Bertram on a stick, and allowed unlimited Pod Plants to be replicated factoring in a very favourable Latinum “exchange rate”.
I’m glad I took screenshots when I did, because as of this morning I’ve disappeared from the ST Leaderboards. Question is, do I kick up a stink – er, I mean, report this – in in-game messaging now, or wait until they dole out the prizes?

I have a few things I wanna complain about lol. First of all, is anyone having a problem with their game forcing close?? I’ll have to restart it 3-4 times every time I log on. It’s getting very irritating!
My second complaint is that they should at least give us adequate time to do all of these events. When I was a stay at home mom, I could log on whenever I wanted throughout the day and complet thare events with no problem. I started back to work last summer and now, working 40 hours a week, I never get to finish any of the events. I get maybe halfway thorough each one. I absolutely love this game but it’s not made for people that work full time jobs! Unless you wanna spend your paycheck on clams to finish everything. I buy clams when I have th extra money to do so but I’m a single mother with a house payment, car payment and bills, I can’t afford to buy clams whenever I want! They should take into consideration that some people have to work 8-10 hours a day, 5 days a week!

WTD! Been having Scottie pop up when I load the game with a Buy him for 150 clams notice. I keep hitting the Buy button but when I do the notice with the characters just disappears. Doesn’t take my clams or anything. I would love to get him. 150 Clams is totally worth it to me. Sent a note to Tiny co from the game, they’re usually pretty good getting back with a response. So steamed honey. Want Scottie lol.

Ahh the leaderboards. Such a sore spot in this game. I have participated and have placed bronze-bronze-gold-gold in the last boards, and I didn’t use many clams in those events. Clams I did use were not related to placing on the board. I think this re-do of the Star Trek is about the worst event they could have chosen to do a Leaderboard. There is no way to make it fair for everyone. Last week people were complaining that new players had some kind of advantage with the latinum in the replicator, which wasn’t really true, but this week it went wayyyyyyyy the other way and now, without question, this favors players who have everything from last year. Not at all trying to brag, but I think I may have the biggest advantage of anyone playing the game with no clams spent. Even though I see a clear advantage in my game, I believe I’m playing the game within the parameters of how it was designed. Whether or not it’s what they had intended or had thought of, I believe the problem is with the way it’s been designed and not the way I play.
For those that haven’t followed the leaderboard help threads, I was one of the players who didn’t initially get the prizes from the north pole leaderboard. I was never personally accused of cheating since they never replied until they finally gave me the prizes a month later, but others who had similar leaderboard total (and even lower) were told they cheated and there was no way to get those totals without lots of clams etc. Except that quite a few of us did it. Myself and a few others have been able to get the prizes we earned with the help of this site, so that was a good thing as I believe we just played the game as it came.
When I received my leaderboard prizes from North pole event this week, I was still shown as banned on this new leaderboard because of the previous account flag. I wrote back and within a couple hours I got a long message back that they had investigated further and that my account was in good standing, that the terms of service violation flag had been lifted from my account, and they had left all of the various currency that is in my game and I should be good to go. They apologized for the trouble, and added that I may continue to see the banned message until the next leaderboard refresh. Cool, ready to move on.
At the time I was told my account had been checked out and was in good standing, I had somewhere around 67 or 68 Earl Grey’s Tea’s active in my game from last year and a whole big pile of the anti-matter that was increasing every 4 hours. Well, the leaderboard never did refresh for me and I still see that banned message. I wrote them back again the next day, but have not heard anything the last couple days. I kind of think I was probably immediately re-flagged by their system for having so much anti-matter.
So fast forward to week two release for Star Trek and I had about 80K (yes 80 thousand) anti-matter and counting, and now the replicator lets us make multiples again and these things are dropping latinum. That’s how I got so many Earl Grey’s last year, we could make multiples and I needed the dilithium and Star Fleet XP they were dropping and had enough other materials to craft many of them. So I made a little farm and got what I needed in that event. No different from the office building farm I made back when I needed coins.
Obviously I had no idea they would bring this event back again almost a year later or that I’d still be playing. But, when the event came back they changed the payout of the Earl Grey’s to the anti-matter so of course I placed them – even though last week I had no idea how I would make use of the anti-matter since there were only a couple items left in the replicator for me.
So I think you can see what’s coming here… 80K anti-matter and counting, and Pod Plants with no limit that cost 50 anti-matter and drop 32 latinum bars. So after a few hours in my game last night buying the pod plants and many of the other items, I have just over 12,000 latinum bars now. I still have about 71K anti-matter but since I am not even currently on the board I stopped there for now.
Now I’m seeing people are being banned from the leaderboard for buying multiples of things in the replicator and getting lots of bars pretty fast. I will never understand how it could be considered cheating to use the things that TinyCo has put in the game. I didn’t make the game I just play it. If they don’t want us doing something, hey, maybe don’t put it in the game? Problem solved, no? I see in the current Issues post that they are aware and working on this issue although not sure how they’re going to fix it. I guess we’ll see.
It really seems like TinyCo learns things and then soon forgets. Maybe that’s due to a revolving staff door. Can’t really say. But we’ve been here before when items are dropping leaderboard currency and then there’s a rash of people banned for buying them. Sort of thought that’s why none of the decos and other items in the North Pole event dropped leaderboard currency like we’ve had in others. Thought they had learned but yet here we are again. Makes no sense that TinyCo punishes people for playing the game the way they designed it. Last years buildings should never have been changed over to drop items for this event, latinum should not be dropping from the replicator for anyone, and again, this was a really bad event to use the leaderboard regardless of those things. Not that any event in this game is a good event for the leaderboard, but this one especially.
BUT… that’s the way they made the game, and I’m going to play the game as they’ve released it to us. I shouldn’t be banned for it. Neither should anyone else. The only time someone should be banned is if they are using freeclams or just taking premium items without paying via modified games. Otherwise, don’t offer us cake and then be mad that we ate it. It’s not a good look. Whether or not it’s a mistake that people are being grabbed by the cheater bot, it’s still not a good look and just causes frustration for everyone.
As I said, I’ve played these leaderboards and have placed well in all of them despite not using a lot of clams. I enjoy the competition of it and overall I don’t mind the challenge of competing with deep pockets when I’m playing mostly freemium. I actually rather enjoy doing what some say can’t be done. But they could find other ways to get clams out of people that would be a lot less headache for all involved. Or at least maybe learn from past mistakes and things that didn’t play out as intended and then implement changes that reflect how they think we should be playing the game. I think it would be better for all involved just to stop using the leaderboards. I know Bunny would be super thrilled, but I gotta believe the folks working TinyCo support would appreciate it too.

I will just add this… it wasn’t essentially “them” that caused it. It was the system in place to protect Players. It saw a jump from 20 to 2000, well that would cause a red flag in any system as “suspicious” activity. No worries, they are doing what they can as they did release them to all and did intend for multiples. However they probably forget, like you said, us last years were sitting on 20,000+ and then some in Anti-Matter just waiting to be blow away. 🙂

What is the deal with Consuela? She’s funny but come on… She was expensive to buy & borg Consuela is also high.. just for a costume. And for something that was a box prize for 75 clams last year if I’m not mistaken. Then to top it off her catnip quest is 8 hours long and does Not always drop.
She must remind someone at TinyCo of a beloved Aunt or something…

ANy1 else like the leaderboards the way they were done during Peterpollusa? Remember how there were like groups of 50 or something, this way more people got chances of winning , more top 5 winners & more of each down the line. Idk I just thought it was better that way and a bit more fun . Because that way in comparison to this way it was a bit more fair in the way that then if u were behind by say 5- 25 gold bars, u still had a chance to catch up & get back in the running for a prize slot, but now if your down by that much , which I was in the last event, there was no catching up to the 1-50 people tied for the slot right ahead of u! & believe me I put in WORK trying , but not only could I not gain & catch up, but I watched the gap widen!! BUNNY??any chances canning up this option when u present some ideas with the “bigwigs” lol ,next occasion ?

I come here to rant and see if there is something I am ranting about that seems to be a common thread. Ranting about the leaderboards is a gimme, since there is no way they can run these where people who do not want to spend money will get the top prizes, so everytime they appear in an event, people are ranting about them. In this case, I would like the puppy, I don’t care about Bertram or Rupert, but it doesn’t matter, as I have dropped 800 places in the last 6 hours, so I am sure I will be off the boards completely by the time this ends! LOL In the beginning I wanted all the characters, but I realized that I put them in storage after they maxed out, so I saw no reason to spend money on them, and certainly not on the skins!

I’m highly disappointed with the way they’re releasing Bertram. I don’t mind returning to the enterprise as I’m a big-time Trekkie, but making a much-loved, recurring FG character as a leaderboard prize? And only letting 1,000 people get him? C’mon! Are you kidding me?
I know it’s silly to talk of “fairness” in a game of this nature, but it strikes me as very unfair to structure it like this. Previous leaderboard prizes seem to have been more related to specific events, of less potential interest (a skin or a costume, or a non-FG character like Corleone that would only be of particular interest to a fraction of the players). Maybe I would feel better if Bertram was in the 5k top scorers tier, but this just seems over-the-top ridiculous to me. FAMILY GUY characters are why we play the game (most of us, I would imagine). How many people is TCo upsetting by putting a beloved key character so out of reach?

i really hate this game lol they make it so if u don’t use clams u don’t get anything cool and the bugs/glitches i spent all day yesterday making the star trek suit for peter and when i try n do any quest it turns off the game n reboots how can they expect people 2 pay money for a game that u cant even do simple tasks during events the football one is what irritates me the most i wanted the *** chear bonnie i was stuck @ game 3 the whole time the event was going on because when i went 2 hike the ball it rebooted the game n shut off for over a week every time n now peter n the star trek quests are doing the same thing think its about time to delete the game

Happy Valentines! Since I’m single thus year there’s no spending tons of coin on someone so I took myself shopping but will see Deadpool next week. Luther new season is on Netflix and its great. Gotham will get better when a certain character cones back from the dead.

When they decided to do a Christmas event instead of Star Wars when the highly anticipated Episode VII was coming out, I figured maybe it was just taking extra time to do the obvious. They did a great Star Trek event, but instead of an awesome Star Wars, which they did films out of, they are doing ANOTHER Trekkie event. This is definitely a sign to move on and away from my beloved FG.

FYI… keep in mind the house of mouse owns Star Wars and ALL its legalities now. You have to go through a city of a legal team to get any chance at them letting you legally use their copyrighted material.
Trust me, IF house of mouse lets go of those reigns and allows them legal access to do it… FG would be all over it. They would have been long ago too since they’ve been trying BEFORE the game even launched to get them to release rights. 😉

That’s a good point! I forgot those movies came out before Disney owned the franchise. Still, my heart shrunk 3 sizes over the holidays. The one good thing about this Trek event is that hopefully I can breeze through it since I already have every asset. Staying positive! =)

I’ve played this game going on yrs now, used to do great at these events, then they started getting more sophisticated (more things happening at once) & my schedule changed where i m lucky if i play 2-3x a day. Now we r having another Star Trek event, uggghhhh i hated the 1st one & dont care for Star Trek overall. Which actually made me quit playing Family guy for a while. I dont understand y u havent done a St. Pattys day theme when (Duh) Peter found out he has an Irish Dad! And i do agree some of these events should make “the stuff” more obtainable for quick events. Challenges r fun, but when goals can b realistically reached. For me, i dont expect it anymore, i know i’m not putting a dent in finishing most events anymore. To other fellow gamers good luck….

I’m done too, game is uninstalled. Are people really paying well over $100 to 100% an event? Being online every 2 hours should at least give you a CHANCE to complete the main quest line. Be sure to leave bad reviews everywhere to prevent others from falling into this money-grabbing failure of a game.

I’m not usually a complainer and this is my first WTD comment, but I really did not like this event. I liked the content OK but I play every day and I used clams to rush and I was nowhere near finishing. Frustrating that I had no chance to get football Peter or football Jesus. Ooh well I guess.

I’m irritated at how many glitches this event started with and how ridiculously off the drop rates were at first. I pretty much stopped doing any quests that didn’t lead to unlocking characters within the first week and I still was about three days from finishing the characters in this event (even rushing a few things)… They’ve really got to figure their metrics out. I really wanted football Jesus and I never even got a chance to finish game seven.
Also I asked them about why they didn’t include Peyton Manning and they told me it only included last years super bowl teams but we all know Cam Newton wasn’t in last years super bowl nor Brett Favre.

Just unlocked Cheerleader Bonnie this morning after finishing game 6 last night was able to then complete the quest Game on pt 14 I rushed 15 with clams the event would be over by the time my characters finished their tasks. I just seen what Tinyco expected the players to do in the last week. They must be off their box must be on drugs i know they play this wait and see game but come on get real. If it was not for crapping dropping of weights grease paint and energy drinks i would have done a lot better in this event as it is i will not get Jesus again missed out on him the first Christmas around or nanny Peter which i dont mind too much but seemed Tinyco wanted you to unlock him before getting Jesus. Tinyco just need to cop on and realise they need to get rid of the drop names common uncommon rare extra rare and epic and just have every item as always and just adjust the amount of each item needed. Therefore they dont need to worry about adjusting drop rates all they have to worry about is if they have assigned enough characters to get the item. simple really if you think about it unless i’m missing something

So I’ve played full premium except the few clams to rush out of 40 min left on some tasks and I just unlocked game 7 right now silly nanny Peter is obviously not going to happen considering 12 hr tasks are needed more than 4 times so this also means no costume for my Jesus I jus wish they can put these two characters into a future event because why would you want to waste money on a box in January when the bug in the game wasn’t anyone fault playing the game

Playing this in the UK, this latest event means nothing to me and I realise that I don’t want to play it anymore I am no longer buying clams. If I wanted to complete this event, I would have had to spend £40 (or $50) to get the clams I need . That is a tank of diesel. I know which I would prefer to have. Why bother collecting coins? I have over 900,000. They are never used for items in a new event except for Dec’s, which clutter up my town. I don’the even have much in my town anymore. So tiny Co, if you continue to run these events just to make money, you are going to lose all your loyal gamers. Really disappointed……

Ok first of all I think we all agree that we wouldn’t be so upset about not being able to complete an event without clams if it hadn’t been different before. Also if it has to be pay to win it should be obvious what u should buy there are some premium items which don’t help u much at all. My personal wtd today is the fact that due to a bug even if I spent a small fortune I couldn’t get touchdown Jesus. I just won game six and clicked on bonnie’s costume and like a lot of others its just locked. This also means I cannot continue the event. I have officially given up and am going to start trying to clear my task bar. Keep hoping the other app will have a Valentine’s event to distract me.

Well, another !@#$%^& event in my book.
Almost over, I just completed game 5. During the event I think I used 30-50 clams to rush some tasks, and I’ll probably won’t even reach the end of game 6. Progressing through the football field takes way way way waaaaay too much time. Soo many times the same task that was required to complete one yard, is needed to complete the second one.
I don’t know why tinyco is making it this hard the last year (actually, I think I do. Forcing to buy clams is their strategy) But when family guy just started, the first couple of events where doable. Some hard but doable.
When an event starts, the first think I think: F*** another event. Why bother, won’t make it.
But the addicted part in me still keeps trying, against better judgement.

Just reached my boiling point. I accept that I will not complete this event, but, I still enjoy grinding it out. Currently working on game 6 trying to at least get Bonnie. Still need 15 energy drinks. I see where TinyCo acknowledged drop rate problems and made some adjustments.
Brian just finished carbo loading and got 1 energy drink. I heard people were getting 2 per drop. Sherman just finish his 10 hour task and dropped NOTHING.
At this point, why bother? I believe this is the worst planned event since the introduction of this game. Let’s go TinyCo. Let’s get back to this game being fun.

When i first started playing, last year at the mid point of the valentine’s event, the catch phrase regarding completing the events or gaining items/characters, was “it takes time or dimes”, and that made a lot of sense to me. It also indicated that other then the premium items (characters and buildings) if you put the time in, you could finish the event and get the freemium stuff. That is no longer true. The last several events made it quite clear that even those people that are putting in incredible amounts of time, to the point of setting alarms and missing sleep, are still not able to come close to completing the events. That is very wrong.

I think we only have two options regarding the game and getting so frustrated everything
A) Just except it and buy the clams,
or
B) (my choice) Is to just play the game, don’t spend any money on clams and if you get something you get something.
I agree the drop rates on these things no matter what the event is horrible at times. I play the hell out of the game, like we are talking SAD amounts of time lol and am currently only on game 6 with no chance of reaching the final game. I just stopped getting worked up over it all and enjoy it for what it is. It is a game and supposed to be fun. I get frustrated as well and I am totally not some zen mofo but I’m not going to get worked up over a game any more.
Sidebar : These guys go above and beyond with the help they provide everyone and the time they devote to help make our gaming experience more enjoyable is amazing. I never get the hateraid (Donna Tubbs BOOM lol) that people throw at the site or them at times.

This is a HORRIBLE post for WTD!! This is the place for drinking Haterade…the drink is delicious because it is only served so well right here.
Of course we know we shouldn’t get frustrated at the game, but we do. That is why the haterade served here is so quenching.
The work done make this game enjoyable is appreciated, albeit not always immediately successful. That is why this site and ‘WTD’ is primo!!

All I’m going to say is this…and this isn’t just for you. This is for EVERYONE who decides to come here and say we’re shills for TinyCo. Let’s get a few things straight…First, you need to get a clue. If you think we get paid by TinyCo you are seriously, seriously SERIOUSLY mistaken. And pretty clueless.
You do realize that our other site is a site for The Simpsons Tapped Out, don’t you? And we created that site first. That game is made by EA. EA is not TinyCo. And TinyCo is not EA. If we took money from TinyCo that would be a MASSIVE, MASSIVE…MASSIVE…conflict of interest. We DO NOT get paid from anyone, not EA, not TinyCo and not FOX. This is a site owned and operated by the Addicts. The only revenue we get is from the Ads on the site. The revenue generated from those Ads, and it’s not a whole heck of a lot, goes right back into this site. So we can provide this lovely site. A place where you like to come and complain about EVERYTHING. So whomever provided you with the information that we get paid from TinyCo…is clueless. And if this is a conclusion you came to on your own…well your even more clueless.
We’re not TinyCo’s mouthpiece. We have our own thoughts and our own opinions. Bunny and I have different ways of saying and doing things, I will say that. I’m someone who’s more likely to hold someone accountable. And allow constructive criticism, and an open dialogue as long as it’s respectful. Bunny’s a little different. She doesn’t always agree with the way I might go about things, but generally we have the same opinions. However, the bottom line is we’re ADULTS. When when you’re an adult, you do things in an adult like fashion. You don’t act like the spoiled little brat of a child who screams and throws their toys to get something done. You don’t call people names and expect that to create a change. There’s an adult way to get things done. You give constructive criticism. You offer solutions. You have a grasp of how the world works, and how business works. You realize that you have a choice. No one is holding a gun to your head saying you must play this game or your life is over. You can stop playing anytime you want. You don’t have to play this game. If you’re that angry about it…stop playing. And if you continue to play, well then you realize (as an adult) that you don’t get a right to complain. Act like an adult, not a 2 year old.
Now about the game itself. About what TinyCo’s doing. About how they “think” before they do things. About the game itself…Here’s my honest opinion…and I really don’t want this to spark a ton of TinyCo hate, or be twisted and manipulated in a way to fit your sick twisted view of things. But you asked for it..so i’m going to be 100% completely honest with you. Also…this is 100% MY viewpoint. This does not reflect TinyCo’s policy. Anything they’ve said to me, or anything else. This isn’t some “insider information” i’ve gotten. This is just my personal opinion based on what I’ve seen in the game.
I think they think about how to make the game in a way that will generate them the most income…(like all companies do) Remember it is a business, and businesses have to make money to stay in business.
Then when they get player backlash they make adjustments…sometimes.
Is it right? Depends on your view point. They never advertised you can get everything the game has to offer without spending money. So they’re technically not doing anything wrong. Do I think they’d retain more players if they went about things differently? Yes. But at the end of the day TinyCo is not a publicly traded company (like EA), so they only have to do what their CEO tells them. They don’t have shareholders to answer to. So if this formula is generating them a ton of income, they’ll keep doing it because it’s good for their business. As soon as it stops generating them income they’ll stop. Which is why i constantly tell people to stop spending clams on stuff (like mystery boxes). The only way you’ll really impact change is to hit them where it hurts, their bottom line.
You can call them names, say all the insults you want (not here of course…) but at the end of the day sticks and stones may break their bones, but names don’t hurt them. As long as they’re generating income from the game, they’ll keep doing this formula. Because even if it’s a couple of days with stagnant drops…a good chunk of players will get frustrated and spend clams to clear the game play. Then they make the adjustments, sometimes, for the freemium players. But only after they’ve gotten a good chunk of players to spend money.
So do I think they think? Yes. I think they know exactly what they’re doing. And it’s a very deliberate process.
Now crashes are a different story. Those aren’t beneficial to business and only hurt them.

There is NOTHING but love from so many for the INCREDIBLE amount of work y’all do for us! This event has been one of my faves in the past year. . .consistent, enjoyable (albeit slow) drops, timely themed & more importantly responsive to customer concerns!!
WTD! is one of my favorite bookmarked sites. I love having a place to vent, commune with others, & read funny stuff others post.

I’m close to calling it quits on this event, the final week is just ridiculous. The process to defeat 1 referee is 26 hours minimum (unless you buy a premium building) and since Bonnie has failed to drop her item twice now I’m up to 38 hours minimum for the current referee and a inconceivable 3 days to move 10 yards on the field since it requires two referee’s.

WTD?!? Yeah I guess I am done playing this event. With such poor drop rates for energy drinks, there is no chance of me getting to part 14. There is simply not enough variety of characters who can drop energy drinks. I have Brian and Richard Sherman. I don’t want cheerleader Bonnie, but have to have energy drinks in order to advance main quest line

WTD is up wit those beat-up “stolen cars” (what it says on my game lol) from back in the Halloween Event 2015 where Esther and the other 2 of Meg’s friends came from?! Earlier I was going through all the stuff in my inventory and got rid of ALOT of decos and what not so now jus a lil bit ago I went back into the deco tab and there were those 3 cars. I placed ALL 3 now I can’t put them back into inventory at all???!!! WTD is up wit that lol Like I said they didn’t show up until a little bit ago in my inventory after the fact I cleaned up and sold alot of stuff I didn’t want anymore…???

OK WTD now I’m needing 4 Energy Drinks as one requirement to move down the field, like it wasn’t hard enough anyway.
I thought I was finally getting somewhere when I unlocked Bonnie but now this adds at least another 12 hours onto finishing last weeks questline.

What the deuce?! I’ve been dealing with constant crash issues since the Halloween event and they’ve gotten even worse! I have reached out to Tiny Co and the problem has yet to resolve. I even uninstalled/reinstalled the app and it didn’t fix the problem. And now, I finally get it to work and noticed…I don’t have Jesus anymore??!! He isn’t even in my Inventory and I’ve had him since the moment that he entered the game eons ago! UGH! What. The. Deuce!

Found him on FaceSpace, tapped him and he reappeared in my game. Phew! Then, the game promptly crashed because of course it did. ::sigh:: But at least I know he’s still in my game.

Wish the game didn’t require the questline to be at a certain point to continue. I need two touchdowns to work through the questline and then 18 hours of tasks but have not use for pompoms, weights or books as I am past the point of needing them and already have enough footballs saved for the remaining 3 games.
If I could start earning this weeks currency which I will actually need it would give me a slim chance of getting Peter & Jesus.

WTD@ I just unlocked Fit Brian and the first thing I get to score the next Touch Down is I need 3 Sneakers, which only Fit Brain is able to drop and it takes 6 hours a Sneaker. I can’t remember, but I though Sneakers were also set to Uncommon. That’s means its going to take 18 hours for me to make the next down.
This is the crap I’m talking about with TinyCo always purposely bottlenecking task requirements by only having 1 character set up to gain a specific item. At a minimum there needs to be 3 characters based on how long the task takes and rarity. The longer or rarer the item the more characters need to be added.
Another thing is that I was 1 Down away from getting the last Pom Pom to beat Game 4 and the game switched it to other items. It was always Weights, Pom Poms and Playbooks. Now its Weights and Mouth Guards. I’m not even at the point in the game where I need to get Mouth Guards, so why are they appearing as a drop?
I think this is the same flaw that happened during during Phase 2. TinyCo set the game up that when Phase 2 content was released it didn’t check if players are still working on Phase 1 content, so players are forced to complete Phase 2 content along with Phase 1 making it twice as hard to accomplish anything. this is what slowed me down last week. I got hit with having to retrieve Gloves to make Touch Downs, which I didn’t need yet. This is basically a replay of being trapped on Game 3 all other again.

FYI… your sneaker info is incorrect. Several Characters can drop them. Look at the Phase 3 post. 🙂
Pom poms should still drop if you still need them. If you can stack up now on mouth guards, that’s a good thing. You’ll get Peter faster.

When I tapped the info icon in mine, all those I listed were there. Tapped on Go on each one to confirm.

Your game has more options because it has reached Week 3. I’m just starting Week 2 being on Game 4, so that means Week 3 content is intruding into my game progress. I’m guessing this happened because I unlocked Fit Brian, since I was doing just fine before that. For some reason TinyCo designed it that Fit Brain was a check mark to add Week 3 content instead of what games players are on.
I sent TinyCo a message to fix the problem.
