SECOND CONTACT WILL END THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 25 @3PM PACIFIC
First up, the Basic Requirements…
- Players will need to be on Version 1.18.0 in the App Markets, so if you are not… go download it
- Players will need to have at LEAST District 3 Unlocked and Al’s completed
- Players will only see this on the Mobile App Version, not Windows Stand Alone
- PLAY THE GAME! Items unlock in stages and as you progress, so if you do not see an item it is most likely you have not progressed far enough in the Main Questline to unlock it. Check details below for more specifics on unlock points.

Peter will kick things off for the Event. You will once again have to repair the crashed Shuttle over in the Event Area for $500, 10 secs.
Pull out ALL your Star Trek Characters from last year to get a good start at those Anti-Matters. Buildings too!

Old Buildings Not Dropping: First Up as noted below, Buildings from Previous Event (like the Borg Cubes) are not dropping the additional Material items (like Gamma Ray). Only the newly purchased ones are. Already sent in for clarification
Star Trek Character Tasks Crashing: I am seeing that if you try and send a Star Trek Character from Quahog, it irritates the game and may freeze on you. However if you send them from the Enterprise, they went just fine. May be something with them trying to transport to Enterprise. Already sent in report.
Borg Rupert: As noted below, DO NOT BUY HIM. If you see him, leave him be. I think he snuck in too soon and due to he wasn’t coded yet or ready, you will not get him. So save your Clams and wait.

ENTERPRISE
Those back for round two, this is the same. Those just trying this for the first time, the Enterprise will be a separate Play Space you can travel to once you reach Star Trek: Second Contact Part 2. Once there, you can then travel back and forth from Enterprise and Quahog. You will see the Enterprise/Home Icon in the lower right corner of your game while in each Play Space for a quick tap to travel.
The Enterprise will be set up in Sections/Districts. Just like in the game, you will have to explore and repair different areas of the ship as you progress through the Event unlocking various areas. Some will Unlock via the Main Questline in Phase 1, others in Phase 2.
REPLICATOR
Another returning item. This will be aboard the Enterprise and your “crafting” area where you will be able to select various items to create for various amounts of Materials you can collect during the Event. Items Created will first drop into Inventory, so you will need to go there to pull them out and into Quahog.
You will know what item you are looking at as it will be highlighted in Orange around it, so make sure you have selected the correct one before using Material to create it.

AWAY MISSIONS
You will be able to send Specific Characters off to another Planet to see what prizes and rewards they bring back. Each Planet will be different in Prizes, Characters used, times, and Cost.
As the Characters on Away Missions are essentially on a “Task”, they can’t be used for anything else until they return. Won’t unlock until Ten Forward is Unlocked.

SHOOTING GALLERY/ PHASER BATTLES
This will not appear until you get to the Enterprise. Once aboard as you progress through the Questline, look for the Gallery Icon in the lower right of your game (Ship firing Laser). Tap on it to open the Gallery.
There are various “Ships” floating about in space in the Gallery and taking them down with Photon Torpedoes will give you various Payouts. As I have pretty much everything, I will list the info and items I was able to verify. ***NOTE: You MUST destroy a ship BEFORE it leaves the screen in order to get a payout.***
Borg Cube: Took 3 hits to destroy. I got 3 Latinum & 5 Anti- Matter & 4 Borg Parts. I got 2 Anti- Matter & 5 Tachyon Particles.
Asteroid: Took 1 hit to destroy. I got 2 Anti- Matter
Romulan Warbird: Took 1 hit to destroy. I got 2 Anti- Matter
Shielded Petercraft (moves REALLY fast): Took 2 hits to destroy. I got 5 Anti-Matter

BORGS
They will start to appear in your QUAHOG once you reach Star Trek: Second Contact Part 2. They will stop appearing in Quahog AFTER Star Trek: Second Contact Part 5 and instead will appear in the ENTERPRISE, so pay attention to where you are in the Questline to know where to look for them to appear.

Cat Nip from Away Missions on Terra Boberra to Destroy them.
Each Borg Kitten Requires 1 Bag of Katnip. Similar to other Walking NPCs, you tap on the Borg Kitten, Tap on the Cat Nip (I had to twice a few times), the Kill Zone Circle will show up, make sure the Borg Kitten turns Purple, then place the Cat Nip by tapping the Check Mark. They will eat it, short circuit out, then poof… reward.
It took me 3 to 4 Away Missions to finally get the 5 Cat Nip Reward, so FYI on that.

as someone who got almost all the stuff from last event besides some of the clam buildings, the only thing to do for me is to collect latinum by destroying the borg cubus….
I need 3 torpedos to fire 3 lasers at a borg cube every 6 hour for 3 latinum..
so why got the people on the leaderboard hundred times as much latinun as i?
Are ppl REALLY paying SO MUCH clams for torpedos to hit the cubes?

Like I always say… don’t bother trying to worry about how “THEY” do things on Leaderboards, you’ll only get frustrated. If someone seriously wants to spend $100 worth of Clams or more for a chance at a Character… let them. I’ll save my Clams for better things.

In my game: When I hit the Borg cube three times with photon torpedoes, in addition to other stuff mentioned I did get several space condoms since I’m working on unlocking Vulcan Quagmire. In Al’s it mentions blowing up stuff there as a way to get them. I tried hitting the Petercraft with two torpedoes- it was destroyed, but just got latinum and anti-matter. Back to Borg cube destroying, I guess. I know hitting something else gave me the condoms also, maybe asteroids? I was only aiming at the cube but asteroids could have been close enough to go poof along with the cube.

I bought Worf first time. He rarely drops communicator badges. Known issue or should I contact Tiny Co as it says above an always drop. No issues with other premium characters. Thank you.

I’m very confused about how to get the character Dianna Trio’s 18 Riker’s Picture in Heart Frame [(Rare): Jerome Trade Baseball Cards] the task takes 24 hours, and being that it is a rare drop and the total event is only two weeks, which equals 14 days!! if there’s only one task that drops them and the only task is a 24 hour task for one character there’s not enough days even if the drop was an always drop‽‽

It’s all the information the game’s giving me to earn the frames. It’s not an assumption that waiting for a 24-hour task in which you’d need 18 takes 18 days. I’m hoping they fix it, but that’s some incomprehensible math.

This is why I keep saying stop trying to “Math” TinyCo drops. You’ll only go mad. Drops can come in twos you know and MORE drop locations can be added over the next week. Don’t stress on it. Instead just play and see what happens. TinyCo ALWAYS works in steps n phase. Always.

Wish they had Spot the cat in the store rather than requiring gambling. The odds aren’t in my favor and I learned long ago to not gamble away precious clams. Actually that lesson was learned trying to win Spot in the first Star Trek event! All I got was a lousy Borg skin for the high school.

Yes, but I never even started on Vulcan Quagmire. I think they are just adjusting the original requirements this way to fit the shorter event. It might be random, so other people might see different things checked off. Deanna Troi also had chocolate and headbands checked off for me right off, even though I had never finished her chocolate the first time. Instead, I have to collect all 18 Riker pictures (the first time, I think I had all of them collected and just was struggling with the chocolate). I don’t think the game remembers what I did the first time.
They also seem to be fiddling with the number of items per drop to compensate for the shorter time. I’m sure Jerome will drop more than one of those Riker pics in his 24 hour task.

How did you all get so many gamma rays?
My borg rarely drops any. SF Peter drops them, but its annoying cause he also drops torpedoes. Tribbles seem to be my best source for them so far.

The Borg Cube you build early on has a decent chance at dropping 1 every 2 hours.

I have hit the Borg cube with three topedos (per instructions) but nothing happened! Have I hit two or three different ones or something?! I just figured it was one Borg ship out there! Do you have to shoot all three at once??

How were we to know this? I just wasted ten shots. I know the drop rate has improved, but I feel cheated. Are they going to compensate? I’ve put so many hours in already…I just want to complete the quest. 😞

Same way I do… play the game and read the FAQ. I don’t ever just play a game blind. I check the “rules” to see how it works then play and read the info that pops up and is available to me.
FYI… it also says so on the task that pops up in your game and that is noted right here in this very post. “Blow Up 2 Borg Cubes (takes 3 hits)”

However, I first thought this was like the football players, or blind refs; you could hit them once, then come back hours later to hit them the second time. It is not at all clear (in the game, that is: You, Bunny, provide oodles of useful information, as usual! :-)) that you have to hit the cube three times before it even leaves the screen and comes around again… There is really very little help in the game, compared to other events: A lot of things don’t have the little “i” icon that tells you how to collect them, like Torpedoes, for example.

Am I missing something? Deanna Troi needs 18 pictures, which the game actually lists as extra rare, and the only task so far is Jerome’s 1 day action? That’s 18 days if it drops every single time. The event is 2 weeks.

That was from another test game. There may be more drops, but that game may not have the places or people that drop them. I’m still verifying them as I can.

Not yet. Plus side, the Anti-Matter payout is by far better in a lot of cases. Down side, those Material Drops for the more exclusive items like Gamma Ray

I see that you have addressed the issue of the old buildings not dropping. It would suck if we had to buy duplicates of buildings we already own and spend most of the time in storage.
I am also curious if the ‘rooms” are going to come into play, as there are a bunch of them in storage as well!
On a positive note, all the Romulan Ale Bars I bought just to use the resources the last time are sure going to come in handy this time around!

Those were just Decorations, not locations. The locations that are on Enterprise now though automatically filled into spots… they are helping with drops. 😉

Yay they fixed the leaderboard! The top person has like 113. And that’s certainly feasible if they bought some of the Photon Torpedoes with clams.. I’m happy that they took such swift action with this. Now I at least have a shot at getting something even if it’s just the 3rd prize…

Star Trek, again? Seriously? All the horrors slowly coming back to mind… transporter… noooo!!!! And leaderboards again! Really don’t enjoy it being a competition. Guess I will miss out on a genuine FG character because of this (usually spend a few clams, but never enough… only just finished game 6 in superb bowl event despite spending around 300). Probably won’t spend on ST event.

How are people getting latinum so quickly? I have everyone and everything from the last event and I can’t progress far enough without having to collect more stuff to open up the avenues to start collecting latinum. What am I missing?

I’m having a huge issue in the iOS version of this event. I have pretty much all the characters from the first time the Star Trek event occurred. There is a task where you need to get Beverly Crusher to treat a patient, but everytime I tried, it would just sit there and nothing would happen. I restarted the app and now the action is GONE. I have another mission with Troi and her action for this task is gone too! Anyone else having this problem? HELP.

Hi bunny! I am suddenly having A LOT of crashing issues, but only in quohog, not on the enterprise. It is happening every time i try to move a building. I did all the usual stuff. .. just an FYI in case it starts to pop up with other players. Thanks for all of your help! I couldn’t play this game without my addicts. 🙂

Thanks. Also, make sure you got plenty of items tucked away in Quahog as RAM can make the game crash when it is pushed to it’s limits or lack there of. 😉

Has the leaderboard only just appeared as sure I didn’t see it earlier on mobile, but now able to get onto facebook version it has suddenly appeared.

Why does it show that some people in the leaderboard have already earned millions of Latinum? I have been playing all day and have only earned 3… Are the still having issues with people hacking the game?

LOL at the leaderboard. If Bertram were the reward at all levels they might have my interest but with him only being in the top two tiers nad the rampant cheating I’ll be fine just getting the Herbwrt skin I missed on the first go.

I just saw the leaderboard and clicked on it and it said I was banned. I have only 6 lithium so yea I’m definitely not cheating ha. Anyone else seeing this? I don’t even know how to cheat in this. Thanks!

Anybody else banned from the leaderboard? 1st time I’ve seen this. Not sure why so I messaged them. I played in the 1st ST event so I pulled out all of my building and characters and started collecting right away. NEVER CHEATED.

Leader board just unlocked and I’m already banned somehow, not that I have any chance to win anything from it as usual.

Same here. I open the game to click on people who completed a task and see Bertram and a new leaderboard. I click on the leaderboard and there is a big red X that says “LN_PLAYER_BANNED_MSG_starTrekR esurface_board” I will msg help but like the last leaderboard where I was banned out of the blue and got zero response, I’m not expecting anything from TinyCo. They are good at lowering expectations. . .

Geez Bunny, you would think they learned their lesson from all the cheating on the leaderboards last time.. They just released that you can get Bertram and a couple other things from climbing the leaderboards.. Everyone in the top 5,000 has over 1 BILLION Lanthium… I mean come on.. That’s ridiculous. I never have any shot of winning anyone because of the rampant cheating.. I have 6. Lol. They really should do away with the leaderboard it’s completely unfair.. Not their fault people cheat, but clearly they do.

Haha good it’s not just me.. I had to do a double take when I opened it up… I still read comments about some people who earned Chuggs honestly, but never received him because of the cheating.. Cheaters ruin it for everyone!

Tinyco sorry to say this but the leaderboard is the worst. I always start great but end up earning none of the prizes. Also why add Bertram?? I would rather see him in a dimension, time travel event or another event as enemy of stewie not in a lame leaderboard also how does everyone have 1 million of the stuff I don’t even know how to get!!!

The Quahog to Enterprise transporter bug has been fixed.

Anybody has the old Borg Cube building, make sure you have it placed. The new one pays out a paltry 2 Antimatter every 2 hours (1/hr), with a chance for Gamma Rays. The old one pays out 60 Antimatter every 12 hrs (5/hr), but nothing else. Place them both.
Some of the other older buildings pay out even better, like Earl Grey’s Hawt Tea (30/4hr) and Geordi’s Visor Hut (10/1hr). The veterans should never be hurting for Antimatter this time around.

Totally INCORRECT. There’s tons for earning everywhere. Only Clam items are a few Buildings, a Planet, and same few Clam Characters. Everything else… earnables

I know that there are known issues on both Rupert with it being a 2nd Richard Sherman but I am unable to locate him in the menu for buying anyone. I was able to locate the costume. Did they pull him to fix the issue? Thanks.

I am still running through it to see if there are chances of rare Clams to drop from Tribbles like they did last time. Or Planet Missions that do so as well. Otherwise, I am playing through as it is really easy having items already from last event.

Hey everyone. I was just wondering, I am a completely freemium player in this game and I already have all the freemium characters from last years Star Trek event. Are there any new freemium characters being released during this new event ?
I like this game but it’s not my fav and I go long periods of time without playing but I always thought they are pretty creative with their events. This seems a little weak tho. Thanx and have fun.

Well tinyco, made it so that FGTQFS is no longer able to be played on “Bluestacks” and the facebook version constantly freezes my computer making the game completely unplayable, so Guess I can no longer play the game,, there went a year and a few hundred dollars down the drain.

FG TQFS was never supported on Bluestacks. It was Bluestacks that tried to make versions that would work. It’s why I cautioned people playing it. Never a “legit” version of the game.
If you saved it, can’t you access it in other devices?

I have never not played on bluestacks,, I never had a smart phone, so from day 1 I have been playing on bluestacks,, I have been playing since the first star trek event and I have been able to play in every single event since,, I have unlocked all of the districts, so basically I have been able to do everything anyone on android or IOS has been able to do everything was working fine until Tinyco started this new Star Trek event,, then suddenly, I can no longer play on bluestacks because my (device) is no longer compatible with the game.
When I logged on to play today I saw the star trek image on the game and I was like WTD,, KOOL!! another star trek event,, but my Quahog was normal, so I figured I would update it and that is when I saw the “Your device is not compatible with this game” in the app store.
I Cant play it on facebook because it loads and 10 seconds in the game freezes,,, always been that way.

That sucks. Well… maybe the guys that created Bluestacks will find a compatible version again. They actually alter the coding to get it to work. Which is why TinyCo never supported it. Too many open chances of hacking involved in an altered game.
Have you tried alternate ways of trying to play it on Facebook? Like Chrome vs IE vs Firefox, etc?
