MISSING BORG CUBE
I noticed at launch of Phase 2 along with others that the Borg Cube disappeared from Phaser Battles and hasn’t returned.
TinyCo is aware and working on it.
MULTIPLE REPLICATOR ITEMS
Due to feedback from Players ALL items are now offered for ALL players (minus some Buildings n Characters that are a one time set) for creating unlimited amounts of in the Replicator.
TinyCo is aware this backfired into banning Players on Leaderboards for “exploit” and theyr are working on it. Will update once I get more information.
BORG BERTRAM BORG RUPERT
For those that saw him pop up in Al’s in Phase 1 for 300 Clams, TinyCo is trying to ensure it is corrected and you’re Clams reimbursed. Please message them if you have not already to get the refund.
DATA IN QUAHOG
Reports Data dropped into Quahog instead of Enterprise. TinyCo is aware of this and trying to patch it. If you had him drop in Quahog and are NOT able to collect items for him, please message in from your game.
So far these are the main items I am seeing. Let us know if you see something not already posted on.

Family Guy Addicts 
Hey Bunny so this is weird. I FINALLY got enough omega molecules for Captain Pike Joe, so I created him in the replicator. But right after the 10 seconds was up in Al’s and I hit “awesome” it said I was trying to “transfer a character that doesn’t exist” then the game froze and auto reloaded.. After it reloaded not only did I not have CP Joe, but when I looked in the replicator I didn’t have enough Omega Molecules to get him anymore.. I had 36 before but when i went back in I only had 33. Which is super frustrating because it takes so long to get badges and try to get dog bones from away missions. Any ideas what the problem is?

They said they are watching for messages on this. It seems making the costume on board Enterprise instead of Quahog causes this issue.
So message them the same you told me please.

Is there a reason why Picard is not showing up in the replicator?
When in Quahog it shows that he’s in it, but when you go to the ship he is not there.

Do you have Locutus? Are you fully in Phase 2 content? I noted in the Main Post that you need to have Locutus unlocked in order to see him as he is the Costume for Locutus.

Anyone else suddenly have the anti-virus software stop showing up? Today I had Crusher, Peter and Herbert all going every 2 hours and didn’t get a single AV software. I only need 4 more. I know it’s marked as rare, but I was getting it several times a day. Now I’m not getting it at all.

I actually just noticed that as well. I was up to 15 two days ago and I haven’t gotten a single one since. And I have them all going every two hours, too. Even through the night.

Thanks Bunny for all your hard work – I’m a long-time listener, first-time caller, so to speak. Just wanted to ask if Borg puppies are meant to always drop molecules when you clear them? I cleared my first 3 puppies, but it only dropped the molecules on the last one so I only got 3 instead of 9. I know it says “chance” when you first select a puppy, but then it also says “always” as a requirement for Ferenghi Mort… Can you help clarify please?

Any idea what the cool down is on borg puppies? I cleared two of them about 36-48 hours ago, and they have not spawned again since, and every been checking about every hour. Kittens everywhere but no puppies. I’ve had bones waiting for them and I’m worried that they won’t spawn again because I cleared the last area of the enterprise.

Hmmmm. Should be about every 3 or 4 hrs 2 pop in. I’d try the basics, make sure you’re on 1.18.5, then message TinyCo

If you are fully in Phase 2, and you do not see them… try the basic troubleshooting tips (linked in Part 2) and message them from your game if that does not help.

Hi, bunny. Borg bertram has beem asleep for about 16 hours. I played last year so I am battling him with a full arsenal of characters, but I refuse to believe he’s that tired. He was just fine yesterday with the normal 4 hour sleeping. I messaged tinyco through the game for this issue.

He has a short time to be defeated. Only 10hrs this time. So if you miss that window, he’ll cool down again for 4hrs and reset. Did you tap on him to see if that was the case?

Thanks bunny. That explains it. He’s awake again now but when he was sleeping there was no timer and nothing happened when I clicked on him. 😦 Battle on!!!

He is VERY tempermental and a pain to get the pop up to trigger (reported) when you tap on him. I have to zoom right in as close as I can on him then tap by his feet to get the pop up to appear. But it will let you know if he is in Cool down or if you missed taking him out and he is going to reset after strengthening his shield.

Borg bertrand wont wake up after i attack him. Hes been defeated for 13 hours now.
I always make sure with any boss I still have at least one character set to start attacking before I collect from the one that will finish the boss off, that way I can get in an attack as soon as the boss wakes up. While not really needed when the bosses have low hp, its incredibly helpful when they have high hp, a 24 hour timer, and I dont have any paid clam characters to help attack. Its essentially the only way to compensate for not having that extra paid character attack, and even then I can’t always finish attacking (i work 60+ hours a week. Plus i need to sleep too)
Please tell me they didnt alter it so the boss wont respawn while being attacked.. Its the only technique many of us have to have a fighting chance!

Here’s the thing… as noted in main post… he’s on a 10hr timer. Not 24. If you didn’t take him down in 10hrs… he’s gone back to cool down. Tap on him and it’ll tell you if you missed it.

I took him down in far less than 10 hours. I’m talking about after i took him down the first time, i checked an hour later, still down. 3 hours later, still down. 5 hours later, still down. 8 hours later, still down. 13 hours later before going to bed, still down. He had no timer either to say how long he was going to, remain down. Finally he fully reset.. And i took him down within 3 hours. Now he has been down for 2 hours without a cooldown timer…
Luckily i read from the other posts that there really isn’t anything new for me to get this time, but it makes me feel bad for players trying to do this the first time.
Also, side note.. When they gonna put YOU in the game? I’d pay 250 clams for bunny in my game! You could say things like “dont yell at me guys” and “hey I’m just here to help!” and “be the game bunny, be the game!” .. Your actions could be “meta-blog” and “laugh at meg” and “avoid quagmires carrot” 🙂

His pop up can be tricky to trigger once he’s down. Try zooming in really close and tapping on his feet. That’s how I get it to show.
It’ll pop up and tell you in lower right corner his cool down timer.
In meantime make sure you’re on 1.18.5 version, try some basic troubleshooting, and if that doesn’t help… contact them. I did already give them heads up you reported an issue with him.
In game Bunny? Last year a fan asked Matt that during a TinyCo Q&A session on the site. His response was there needs to be a “large following” to back up the character. Something fans would be excited about.
Superfan Keean, a great nod to TinyCo for doing, didn’t seem to impress many Players to bother with him and the Facebook winner Fan they put in last year got sour feedback too. It would be awesome to be in a game, that’s for sure. End of day, I think it comes down to “will the time, money, effort be worth it and excite Players”.
A fan here even started a petition on getting them to do it. Didn’t get too many signatures and I think the cruel trolls that try to show up here also abused them for doing it. Sad how some “humans” treat others.
Those task names though… especially last… frakkin hilarious. Thanks 😉

Haven’t seen this pop up, is anyone having trouble giving Jesus a task? I went into quahog taped jesus’s check and got 2clams yea, now when i try to put him back on a task the game freezes and i have to hard crash around 4 times. Restarted phone multiple times and still does it. When i go back in i can put anyone else on tasks above and below (enterprise, quahog) lol, until i try to give Jesus a task, so know he’s the only one walking around my town with nothing to do, so this might be new.

Just went to clear some Borg puppies, only to watch them turn into kittens with catnip. Is this a known glitch, or just something weird in my game. I did get the correct payout for clearing puppies, but I don’t get to see the correct animation.

Hmmm… interesting. I know if you tap the information “i” in the Target Screen… it populates the Kitty Information. Are you saying that the actual Puppies turned INTO Kitties as you fired on them?

That is exactly what happened to me. I tapped the Borg Puppy and it turned into a Borg Kitty and attacked catnip instead of the bone. The reward seemed to be for the puppy, three Omega Molecules. So it seems to be just a visual thing.

Yes – for me, too. Some kitties dropped Borg pieces and some the new puppy drop (can’t remember the name of the energy orb things).

Yes the puppies themselves turn into the kittens when you clear them. You get the correct payout for clearing the puppies, it’s just a weird glitch on the animation or something

This happened to me also but I did not get the correct pay out. I got Borg parts instead I’d omega orbs. I messaged them and am waiting to hear back.

I have Khan from the last event. What task is he supposed to be doing that drops bones? I have the whole ship unlocked and I have puppies running around.

So TinyCo “banned” people who utilized an element that was placed into their games and have now reversed course? I can’t get them to respond that they even received my outline from my play for the Christmas event and remain banned from this event (sent Monday so I have waited a week). Please Bunny, I want to be a believer. I enjoy this game too much just to pitch it. Why, why should we trust/believe in this company? This is the only game I play. Is this what it is like everywhere with every game? Maybe for a different post but I trust you and your knowledge and these inconsistencies just don’t exude confidence.

Like I said on Christmas… it is a HUGE undertaking on their side to do what is needed per each individual Player messaging in about it. Not to mention, they are Tiny. Seriously. Only a small handful of reps taking care of tech issues/message support. They are not outsourced worldwide to thousands upon thousands of reps to help. Just them. Just a few… to take care of over a million Players. Patience. I know it is really really rough… but they will get around to taking care of Players as quickly as they can.
As to this one… it was not essentially “them” that caused their ban. It was the “cheat” system in place that saw a player jump from….let’s say 50 Latinum to over 2000 in a few hours… yah… that would trigger ANY system to red flag an account as suspicious activity. Now tech has to work to make nice with the system again because they did allow the purchases intentionally. So they are making it right. They also probably didn’t think that most of us last year Players farming Anti-Matter have 20 Grand of them to blow. Lol.
It is once again, Leaderboards. They tried hard to make them fair so cheaters can’t access them. Yes it can backfire, but the fact they are the ONLY game so far that I know of banning cheaters from them, I do appreciate them trying. It is still a newish thing and will still have to be tweaked until it is just right. 🙂

I have no choice but to be patient but I hope they retroactively honor my position on the leaderboard if they can’t get this straightened out before the event ends on Thursday. This new news has me potentially making the top 5000 considering I have over 40,000 anti-matter collected with a week left. Glad I stuck with collecting it while waiting for phase two content. I do think they should reconsider their position on sweeping cheaters until they get better at detecting actual cheaters; it seems like they are hurting honest players more than deterring these “cheaters” who are only going to build a newer mousetrap that TinyCo isn’t ready for yet. I remember the “clam-eliminating” debacle of last year and now this.

Sorry you’ve not had a response yet Barry, I’m thinking maybe you’ve got lost in an influx of leaderboard complaints relating to this event. Let the weekend pass and maybe wait until Tuesday/Wednesday and send your email again. Wish could do more help but I know putting the prizes in my game was simple enough but they did have some issues removing the flag, think it just kept resetting when they removed it. I know for you, like me, it’s not about the prizes now just getting your game a clean bill of health. As for the Star Trek leaderboard, it’s gone crazy, it’s like a latinum free fall in the game so who knows where anyone will end up on it.

I too collected over 40,000 anti-matter through regular game play, approx 5000 per day, but they’ve banned me with only half of that spent using the replicator. I do not cheat or know how to cheat; neither do I use clams to get ahead nor will I ever purchase clams.
It’s crazy the leaderboard is the only thing to play for in this event, if you collected the full set of costumes/characters last time, yet if you do play hard to climb it they ban you. Prizes can only go to those players that replicated a significant amount of items but not enough to get banned, whilst nobody will stand any chance of a prize without replicating items for latinum.

Hang in there. It’s the “net” system flagging players as its seeing extreme jumps that in normal circumstances are not “regular game play”. TinyCo is well aware now the not prepared for backfire by allowing unlimited purchases and working to adjust it without allowing real hackers and cheaters into the Leaderboards. Just message them and wait. Hopefully it’ll be resolved soon. 🙂
The “net” didn’t realize those of us gaining 20 grand plus of Anti-Matter had nothing else to spend it on til now. Lol. 😉

So it’s probably not a good idea to replicate multiple items in the replicator then. I’ve sent a message via in game to TC, but I just want some sort of clarification, because I do NOT want to get banned. I wish they would go back to smaller groups for the leaderboards if they insist upon them.

Questline is noted at top of Phase 2 post. Patch is in works and coming soon. It is a side questline so no big deal. Are you to part 2 in the new Questline?

Bones are showing up in game now from Kahn. I finished the other quest line with Edo. TinyCo got back and said it was a known issue. Thanks for all you do! It’s appreciated!

Yeah smaller groups were so much better. Like an average player had a chance. Im not even checking the leaderboard this time. And im sad this event is so short. I had been dreaming of another star trek.

I had Data and Geordi drop into Quahog. I don’t seem to have issue collecting items for either though. Geordi actually already had the items I unlocked in the first event already unlocked.

Data and Geordi dropped into Quahog for me as well, and both seem to be collecting items just fine. I did not participate in the event last year, so they are both completely new to me. I can’t say for sure that they will unlock properly, but as far as collecting goes, so far, so good!

The borg cube is there, it’s just in a very long orbit (not a joke, i’ve seen it a couple of times but it’s a long wait before reappearing).

Looks like the Pod Plants are gone but they’ve left a few more items that are still repeatable and only require anti-matter and still give Latinum.

I have both Data and Geordi in Quahog. I’m able to collect for them both, but I wasn’t able to place them on the Enterprise. Will having them in Quahog be a problem, or is it ok if I can still collect for them?

So what item is most effective for latinum hoarding? I have all characters from last years event and stocking close to 9k in star currency since I dont need it for anything but items from the replicator. I found the podplant to be cheap with good latinum outcome. 50 currency for about 15-17 latinum. Anyone else has a better tip?

Geordi and Locutus also dropped in Quahog for me but I can collect for all three characters.
Visors for Geordi: Lois freshen up doesn’t show as a task to collect. I only have Starfleet Peter Drink Synthenol.

Also, Quest “All the Way Bare Pt. 2” has had me trying to get Edo Herbert Be Carefree for 2 days now lol, that’s a simple 2 hr task that I’ve completed about 12 times so far, I already contacted ingame about this, just wondered if it was a lil problem with other addicts fans?
