Keep in mind that this is the Addicts Site, not TinyCo’s… so respect that we do not have to field the abuse for them, but are just giving an outlet to vent frustrations for our Readers. Here’s mine for this week:
WHAT THE DEUCE… Drops. I honestly would prefer myself to have things at Always drops but longer task for the more “difficult” ones. For instance, instead of “rare” have it take 16 or 24hrs. That way I know it’ll still drop, but the “challenge” element is still there.
WHAT THE DEUCE… People taking small children to adult movies, like Deadpool. Look I get you want to be a “cool parent” but a film is rated R for a reason. Please just stop. Let a kid be a kid. They can grow up on their own time and be exposed to the world when they’re ready. Deadpool is no place for a baby, a 6 year old, an 11 yr old, etc. Let us grown ups have our shows. Take the kids to Zootopia or Kung Fu Panda 3. 😉

WTD! What’s up with pain killers?!? I know it’s an extra rare but It’s the only thing I need for max patti and it’s been DAYS of collecting from the building and nothing but coins!!… Uggh!!!

What is with all the IN PROGRESS stuff with this new wrestlemania event? Looks like the game is over extending itself with the new Beta Test zone and basically having event after event. I’d rather it be done smoothly and spaced out more than rushed and done one after the other.

In progress means I have not located all it’s origin to fully provide statistics. This game always has been and always will be dropped in steps and phases. So items may not show up immediately until fully released or specific lock points reached.
It’s how this site and I work. I play through it myself and provide MORE detailed information than you’ll find in FAQ.

This wrestle mania event is only a week in and I’m frustrated already.
Is it too much to ask for an enjoyable game that stretches but doesn’t require you to spend hundreds of clams to get a stupid character that’ll never be used again?
I am trying to get maxi paddy, but at one time the drop rate was ok for the butt scratchers, now they never drop at all!
Lois is doing ju jitsu, Chris is on his task and Peter is training with jerome (because none of the other character combos I have tried have yielded anything). 4 characters. That’s it. Nobody else is contributing in any way and I can’t get one of the buildings until I’ve got enough belts to cover that AND the really hard character at the same time, otherwise it’s plain impossible.

I never got a splash screen about that stupid Princess Bride event ending. I’m on every day and one never cane up, just logged in and is like…event over, sorry you just lost 4k beans and everything else. If I knew I couldn’t finish my stuff I at least wanted to buy more walls. Wtf ever.

This game is getting more frustrating.
I have been trying to get the pain killers. I have clicked the building every couple hours I am awake for DAYS and nothing. I play another game very similar to this and if I wait 8 hours for something I get it. In that game I am able to finish the quests and enjoy the story. I have never finished a quest in this game to the end. The very poor drop rates and bugs always keep me from the end.
I like the question why more characters are not being used. I have a ton of people walking around not doing anything for the quest. I might be able to complete the quests if I had more than 2 people doing stuff. Right now that is all that is being used. Peter and another person to train.

Quick question for anyone who can help me…I’m at level 40 and in the last 3-5 days my XP bar has not moved at all whatsoever…id appreciate

It’s “visual” thing. Many times the bar will appear to not move, then jump ahead. I saw this all through the Levels. Your XP is still adding

Useless characters? Do I just put them in inventory?
Mostly from events, but Sheepdog Chris, Jake Tucker, Troi, Santa, God, Vinny, Snake Plissken, Richard Sherman, Sir Peter, L’il Peter, etc, etc. Are they of any use or do most people just put them in inventory & forget about them?
Also makes me wonder why should I ever spend clams or stress about getting a character from an event in the future? If they are active & useful for about a week, & then not contributing ever again, what’s the point? I haven’t been playing long enough to know if they are useful when the event rolls around again (or if events DO roll around again). i.e will I use Santa next Christmas or will I be toiling away trying to unlock Mrs. Claus or Rudolph or some such while Santa contributes nothing?

Sad to say but you summed it up nicely with you’re post. I keep all my characters in storage till a new event rolls in then the usual 7 or so, peter, chris, lois, bonnie, joe, jerome, sometimes meg are always on the ready. The other 110 thats right 110 just sit in inventory. I used to keep a lot of them out like avril, alice cooper, freddy kruger, john mclaine, and a whole bunch of others and send them on tasks, but i find keeping them in inventory helps keep the lag down alot. So WHAT THE DEUCE TINY CO. USE MORE CHARACTORS. Like this event why not have greased up deaf guy get some belts every 24 hours, tiny co could be so creative b y t instead just want money money money to get charactors then be totaly useless after you buy them. Oh yeah i forgot i had john mclain, i may pull him out to roll out for c a little while. Happy gaming.inventoryalways free

Hi Bunny, sorry for my bad English^^ I have a question: i red that i can link my iPhone FGQFS game to my Facebook with the ingame menu.So i was thinking, it’s possible to loose the saves if i do that? If i play on Facebook the game saves on the iphone too and/or vice versa? Maybe you answered this question before but i’m really worried couse i don’t want to loose all the progress i made in this years.Thanks for your reply and your time^^ Happy Easter from Italy! 🙂

You definitely want to save your game so you don’t lose any progress, items, or money invested. Here are the basic steps overview. (It uses email option, but Facebook is similar)
For Facebook, just make sure you are logged into the right Facebook account first on your device. Then open the game. Then go to the menu, account, and select the Facebook option. It will look for your Facebook account on your device then ask you if that’s the correct Facebook. Then it will ask you to LINK the current game. Make sure you select your current game on your current level.
Once you complete all the steps, you’ll be able to log into any compatible device using your Facebook account, LOAD your saved game, and access your game as it is saving all progress as you play.
Let me know if you run into any issues along the way.

Hey Bunny, thanks for your quick response. I didn’t remember this, but it appear that i am logged into the game by email, just like in the link you gave me. So now i have to unlink the email and join with FB? By the way, just to be clear(because my english is bad). My iphone is dying, so i thought that i can play on my pc via FB until i can replace my phone, so i can still play, and when i can afford a new phone, i can reinstall the game and continue playing without loosing progress/money. I really appreciate you help. Have a nice day^^ 🙂

Yes. Once linked to Facebook, you can play directly through the Facebook site and your progress will be saved. Then you can go back to using another compatible device.

Grand Fairy Tale Library. As far as i know that was never 6 clams collection only while the event was on. So what was the point of it as it could only give you par on collecting clams. I really wouldn’t have bothered if they had said that it was event only.

It was noted it was Event Only on the item itself, in game FAQ, and I also noted it in my post next to the item when the Event launched. Here’s the direct screenshot from the game.

What the deuce… (read in my best Peter baseball voice) Butt Scratchers….. BUTT SCRATCHERS?? WHERE ON EARTH ARE ALL THE BUTT SCRATCHERS? I’ve had Lois on the butt scratcher task every 2 hours for 16 hours a day since this thing started and I still have just 1/6 needed butt Scratchers! What the deuce!? OK, rant over, please proceed with your day.

WTD drop rates from Axxess Facility?!? 0-7 since obtaining. Pure rubbish and unacceptable for an uncommon item.

So far I’m 0-5 yet with only Lois I’ve gotten 4/6 of the rare item for Maxi Paddy. Go figure!

This was probably the worst event I have witnessed in this game. I never felt like I was on a track to complete this event and never even made it past mid week three.
There have been only like two other events where I failed to unlock all free characters but even there I was still in the last week of the event by the end.
It’s a good thing they got me hooked on this game with the original star trek event otherwise I wouldn’t have lasted this long.
They better get their crap together because I have a feeling more than a few people have their finger hovering over the uninstall button.

Really pissed at tiny co about the Star Trek leaderboard – I know that was a while ago, but I legitimately qualified for the bronze prize, was never told by tiny co that I didn’t qualify for any reason, yet I STILL haven’t gotten my prize!! I have contacted them FOUR TIMES (with screen shots showing I qualify and an explanation of how I got to my level…) with no response! What’s the point in working toward a prize of they won’t give it to you and then won’t even give you the courtesy to tell you why you aren’t getting it?!?

I am so, so, very frustrated. There have been events that I have not quite completed, characters I missed, but this is the furthest behind I have ever been, including the horrendous Mob event.
Why, why why do we have over 100 characters when 99% of them sit in storage as they’re useless? And yet 2/3 characters have to do everything?
I am only part way through week three. I have Westley, the Knight Peter, and Giant Chris, and that’s it. And that’s all I will get. I’ve not gotten the new Stewie, and I never got a single drop for the slippers or books for Princess Lois and Buttercup. None of their requirements are complete because I’ve had a total of six dragons appear in four weeks. Tickets to TinyCo result in a form letter saying they can’t give the formula for the return. Guess what, I’ve figured it out – more £ = quicker dragons.
Today I sent in another ticket, telling them how frustrating I found this event. They just closed it without a response at all. I can see how ‘valued’ I am. I’m sticking with TSTO from now on. At least their honest – premium content is premium content, and all freemium content is actually achievable.

For the last two days I have been getting a splash screen warning that everything is going away on thursday, so spend the magic beans now before they go away, so I did just that, and now they offer a bean box, with all the stuff I would have purchased, especially the stewie and brian statues. I have been buying their statues since the valetines event. What a load of ****!

The cycle I keep finding myself in during the game lately is this: I like a character or building that costs clams. I don’t have the clams for it. Decide to go buy clams. Go to clam shop, realize that I need to spend $20 on on 600 clams to get Minstrel Bruce, who is 280 clams. Realize that if I spend them clams on another character or building I will have basically paid $20 for two things that will be useless and I will either store or not be able to find after March 24. Don’t bother.
I understand that microtranactions are how games like this are profitable. There is nothing micro about most of the costs of these items. I spend enough time playing the game that I feel like I want to support the game but you really can’t purchase anything with a packet or box of clams anymore. It seems to me that the game is catering to big spenders and new people who don’t have the game figured out yet. If someone wanted to buy all the premium characters and buildings for this event (not mystery boxes, not extra potions or flash bangs, not speeding anything up), it would cost them $122 (iOS, USD) alone. That is just crazy to me. I will pay to play, but not to the tune of $10 a character and $120+ an event, especially when not a bit of it carries over into another event in a useful way.

Spot on.
Try something a little different. At the start of an event tell yourself NO MATTER WHAT I am not spending a dime on this event and challenge yourself to get as much as possible without spending any money. Freemium is a different kind of fun. True you do miss out on getting ALL the booty but it sounds like you’ve already come to terms with that. My suggestion is simply change your gameplay experience from a focus on what cannot be obtained to a challenge of what can you get for free. That mental switch has really helped me re-enjoy the game.

That’s my point. I NEVER spend money, but I do enjoy the game. When I do want to get something extra, I can justify supporting the game and spending money, no problem. What I can’t justify is the absurd price of a single character or building. The other thing I noticed when I was doing the math on all the premium stuff was that most items were just into the next tier of clam pricing. That means either people have to spend their free clams plus all they bought or buy too many and only be able to buy one item and need to buy more clams to get something else. Kinda shady.

For 2 weeks I found myself searchin for calm, out on the porch, in a rickety wooden rockin chair, strummin on the old six string, singin the blues about my longin for just one more dragon scale.., and a booger, if it’s not too much to ask…
Now.., I’m findin myself on that same porch, seekin solace and singin the 2nd verse of that song,
“Lord I need me a gauntlet or two.
I’m beggin please tell me just what can I do.
I’d wrestle me up a sapphire egg to use.
And get me a Stewie to take away these blues…”

Phase 4 of the princess bride event is killing me. Only red riding hood Stevie can get an egg but you also need him for clearing the rodents of unusual size for the glass slippers. Why? Any reason why the actual Stewie can’t do one of the tasks because he has nothing else to do? Or any of the other dozens of characters that are useless for this overwhelming event? Oh, that’s right, then I won’t buy more clams. Well, sorry tiny co, I am a buyer of clams, but won’t spend one dollar more for this event because you have become too greedy. Thanks for ruining the Princess Bride!!! I hope in the next event you return to the great game you’ve created and quit trying to alienate your loyal fans!

Dont feel bad, I’m still in week 3 probably wont get rrhstewie. The thing that gets me is i have way over 6 emerald eggs and cant use them couse i dont have page 4 open yet, but i need 5 saphire eggs to get the last two buildings to help stewie, right now i have 0. Its becouse of the gauntlets. At least if they don’t drop every time then make it a 2 hour task not 6. I try to do the trick and close the game before i claim after jousting, but always forget becouse i get so frustrated after 2 days of getting 4 gauntlets and seeing just beans i pretty much just get ticked and start clearing my checkmarks. Oh well, hope you get stewie, i dont see myself getting 5 sapphire eggs in 3 days. Happy gaming.

I’d prefer an always drop with a long wait or a short rate with a larger amount required than these chance drops. The “luck” factor in this game turns the game into an exercise in frustration and causes players to quit after finding out all there efforts went into getting something that seems to be a premium in disguise item.
We should know if clams are intended right off the bat. Otherwise they’re just punishing the most enthusiastic of the freemium players.

I am ridiculously sick of all the additional animation created by the horses of arbitrary extra creatures. Right now, I have knights, mort trolls, rodents, AND Oompa Loompas all over my screen. I had just culled my town down to a level at which my game wasn’t crashing at an intolerable level before this event started. Of course, now it’s back up to an intolerable rate of crashes with all this going on. I don’t have a state of the art phone, but nor do I have a bottom-level phone, either. It’s just too much commotion.
I am lucky if I get my two “big” logins (i operate the game in 12-hour increments, so my big logins are the logins in which I have the most characters to attend to) accomplished in less than an hour because of the need to reboot the game over and over.
If it had been any other event I’ve done before this one, I would have just stopped and saved myself the headache. But this one has held my interest, so on I suffer. Make no mistake, however… I eagerly await the 24th and the cessation of this misery.

It seems like i spend forever on this game and have now come to boiling point. Not everyone has spare cash to constantly buy clams. I dread to think how many clams are needed to complete this event. It seems that every new event gets harder and harder to get anywhere in without spending ridiculous amount of clams. I work long hard shifts to earn my wage and have very little at the end of each week to spend on me! The class divide is getting worse, the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. This game is no longer affordable or enjoyable. I have my finger hovering over the uninstall button

This is nuts. Week 4 has started and I’m still stuck in Week 2, Twice Upon A Time part 7.
Why?
Cause of the gauntlets and sapphire eggs.
This event is so frustrating! I have 5 characters capable of getting gauntlets. I’m lucky if I get 1 out if that 5. So it’s taking me roughly 1 day to get 1 chance at a sapphire egg. And I will train two characters to make sure I get one. Chance is High and bar is full to the top. And it doesn’t drop.
I NEED sapphire eggs and I NEED to fight the dragon. But the same characters are required for both.
I love the Princess Bride. I was so excited for a fantasy themed event. But I’ve only just gotten enough Princess hats for Buttercup. I have a week to get 2 and a bits weeks content done and I just can’t see that happening.
Was really hoping there would be a catch up box we could buy with bean. They’ve done something similar in previous events.
I’m really disappointed in the way this event has been laid out.

a trick i read somewhere to get the sapphire egg.. it still requires you to labour for 4 gauntlets. but once you start training, after you finish don’t click on the claim button if the egg is not showing up at the claim screen. restart the game n try claiming again – repeat till the egg shows up (ALWAYS WORKS). maximum tries i have taken is 5 for the egg to show up

Thrice Part 5 wants me to train in wrestling 3 times so I should be able to get three eggs now.
And the probably be required to spend them on a building I don’t want so I can continue on towards week 4 quests.

I’m the same with sapphire eggs and fighting the dragons. Finally got princess hats for Buttercup, but will never totally unlock her, Lois, Red Riding Hood Stewie or kill ROUS. Meanwhile I have a lot of beans and gold eggs that I will just lose.
