The Week 4 Challenge has now arrived in our games to bring us some more Castle additions. Take a look below to see what all you will run into for this Week’s Challenge. Don’t forget that ALL 4 of these Challenges must be checked off in your game in order for you to get the Grand Prize.

CASTLE GATES CHALLENGE TAKE 2- 3 DAYS TIMED
Again, not everyone may see the Challenges. Usually only Premium Players as you may run into the need to send Clams to complete them. You will know if you get the Challenges by checking your Event Menu (the Honor Point Icon, lower right). If you see 5 Tab options to the Left when the Event Hub Menu opens, specifically the one with the swords crossed, then you will see the Challenges. If you only see 4 Tab Options, then you will not get the Challenges. Also, you may not see the Challenge until you reach the Phase it was released for.
The Castle Gate Challenge!
Peter Starts
Clear 8 Rodents of Unusual Size: Requires Little Red Riding Stewie & 4hrs each (I had 8 MAX already in my town.)
Train in Sorcery 4 Times: Requires 2 Spell Pouches & 5hrs each
Clear 40 Trolls: The spawn rate for Trolls has increased so much, I do not see this being a problem. I have been able to tap and redirect and hit up to 8+ at a time with one Flash Bang. See more tips HERE. (I had 16 Total wandering my game after letting them spawn to the MAX)
Completed Task Reward:

This Challenge will vary depending on where you are in the game. If you have the supplies needed for the Sorcery, it will make it easier to go through it. Otherwise you will want to start on clearing the Rodents of Unusual Size and Trolls as soon as you can. That way you are not waiting on spawns holding you up to complete the task. Again, THREE days for this Challenge. Use the time wisely.

I saw the castle in the store as a deco item a few weeks ago and bought it for a really really small amount of beans, I have had the castle in my game now for weeks but it has now disappeared off my screen. I have messaged tiny co about it. I would really like to get it back since i did buy it from the store.

It was a glitch for 1 magic bean. They did reverse it but with 1 bean you probably didn’t even notice. 😉

OK NOW I’ve got an animated screen come up – Sir Peter. The ‘challenge’ is to place the castle gate. As I’d already done that it skipped and gave me another reward.
An isostatic second tower – but this time with a dragon on top!!! So I’ve just swapped the two towers around.
What do you think? Maybe make a ‘twin towers’ kind of keep? Lol

As long as Stewie is unlocked this challenge is do-able. I started yesterday. I have 5 rodents cleared, 2 of the matches done and Chris is currently in the 3rd and I need to clear one troll. I should be finished by morning.
I will need cloaks for the match and since Stewie is busy clearing rodents, I need to wait out the vineyard thing.

I’ve completed the challenge. It unlocks the tower the dragon stands on – but the dragon isn’t there. Not sure when we get the black dragon, or if we do at all. I thought that’s what the ‘grand prize’ was supposed to be.

You get one for Beans than Peter triggers Questline to place one with the Dragon.

How do they expect people to finish this as stewie is needed for at least two of the parts (unless you have managed to acquire the vines), so that is 32 hours for each part which only leaves 8 hours assuming you actually get the spell pouches every time which you don’t.

Bunny, in your experience, are the spell pouches really an “uncommon” drop rate? I have 0 in reserve, and I may JUST squeak in under the deadline if I get 10 spell pouch drops in a row, and even then I may have to use some clams to speed up the battle against the rodents. I’ve got my fingers crossed for good news because getting that castle would be a small measure of redemption for me for this event.

Is the 4th challenge reward and the grand final prize one and the same because they look identical to me with the difference that the grand prize has the dragon with it? If so, it’s pretty lame to have both items look the same 😦

They accidentally released the castle to the store a week ago. I bought it immediately and have a screenshot. I believe it was 4000 beans to buy it.

I saw it as well and bought it but I guess due to the fact I am so far behind they kindly removed it from where I had placed it, didn’t return the beans I purchased it for not that they matter much as I have plenty of them.
