WHAT THE DEUCE… Rare items in Short Events. Can we just do away with these please? Instead, if you want it THAT difficult, make it a 12-24hr tasks or something. Still time involved and difficulty level, but more a chance at getting the item for the time put in. Just no more items beyond Uncommon in Short Events. K thanx bai
WHAT THE DEUCE… Doctors Offices. Look, I know we all feel we are the sickest one there, but can we at least have some common human decency for those that have appointments BEFORE us? Or the fact that they had courtesy to schedule an appointment possibly weeks or months in advance. I saw some lady screaming at the people at the desk because they couldn’t let give her an appointment RIGHT NOW due to the Doctor’s were all already overbooked, she just walked in, and the lobby was full of others that did have appointments (even though and Urgent Care was right there in the same building, next desk over… 20 minute wait. Hospital across the street, 15 minute wait). If it is THAT urgent and an “emergency” then use those urgent options. Don’t freak out you walked in and the world doesn’t stop to allow you to just butt right on in. That’s what Urgent Care and ER are for.
FYI, as I sat there waiting… a guy and his 3 small very sick children came in. His wife was across street in Hospital coming out of surgery recovery soon and he asked if their appointment could be bumped sooner so he could be back over there in time to be with his wife. He said if not, he will give up his appointment to someone else and come back another day (even though their would be a “no show/cancellation fee). I knew he saw same Doctor as me, so as his 3 lil kids sat their coughing and crying I walked over and told him to take my appointment in 3 mins and I will wait the extra hour to take his spot. Kindness & Respect for others people. Know it. Use it. Give it.
FYI x 2… I am really sick of Doctor’s offices. Seems I live there now, might as well book a permanent room.

Family Guy Addicts 
Wow, this game is NOT new player friendly. This is my first full event and because of a few mistakes I made early my game has ground to a complete standstill.
My biggest mistake was saving water bottles during phase one instead of turning them in for twinkies. For some reason I thought it was a good idea to stockpile components and now I’m stuck with 800 water bottles and no way to redeem them.
I only have 14 characters, and 8 of them are mutants and unplayable. I never came close to earning Sidewalk Joe. I still haven’t unlocked Neil Goldman because the acne cream won’t drop. I started the timer on Jesus without realizing it, so I’ll can’t earn him now either. I’m nowhere close to getting Stan yet because earning cigarettes is so hard.
This event is not fun. At all. If this is what I can expect from future events then they’ve just lost a new customer who would have been willing to spend money.

Yep. That’s every event in this game. Something compels us to keep playing. I’ll be off the grid for 6 weeks come July, if that doesn’t ween me off, there’s no hope for me

WTD is with “premium, paid for with clams” buildings only dropping 1 item every 8 hours? I bought Clams just to get the Cure Dart Plant, to help with the ridiculously high Mutantization rate, and it gives me 3 extra darts per day at best?

I’m so tired of always having to make a Sophie’s Choice in your fn game. Do I try and complete this task to get this but if I do that I can’t get this other thing that I need to finish the other task that I need to complete the timed task that I need to obtain the other thing that I need to complete the original task that is now tied to the task to move forward in the quest but darn now he is a mutant and I needed him to unlock the other thing oh well what to do now.

What the deuce………….they should call this game the quest for bottlenecking. I was well on my way to get over 100 twinkles for swjoe, no mater how hard i tried i could only manage about 30 a day then i accidentally started the timer on him and jesus and have seen joes timer go from 24 to 6 hours remaining now and in that span i have not been able to get 1 twinkle becouse the option for just water bottles has disappeared………WHAT THE DEUCE………now enter bottleneck, just like in the Halloween event. I have over 300 water bottles and cant use them becouse it takes forever for just clevmire to get 1 smoke bomb, and not to mention 15 packs of cigs. I’ve been bombing since this morning and only managed 4 packs so far booooo. Now i know the furniture store drops bombs so im going to town building as many as possible before tiny co catches on and says I’m cheating, but alas the timer for joe will be expired before one furniture store is done building. I knew the first week was too easy, next thing you know there will probaly be another leader board. So tiny co i rate this event from an A+ week 1 to a big fat F for F.U. tiny co. greedy sons of you know what. Rant over.

Wow I actually thought event was going good. Then tiny co drops there deuce as always with a timed Jesus and multiple other things to try and get to get other characters to complete other aspects to complete other things it’s like are they dr evil or something you want someone to play the game and collect things but you have the same characters doing multiple drops that are not even always drops. It is hard for myself as much time sadly as I play this game to justify the continued lack of why am I bothering waiting like 12 hours for a character to maybe drop something when I need that same character for another task to drop something maybe to complete something else that is timed plus I also need that same character to drop the items I need to launch an attack on something that is not even in the game yet to collect something that I need to unlock another character so I can complete the task it’s like someone needs to either put down the drugs or start sending some my way because I’m about done.

WTD – commander Jesus has a 7 day timer and one of the actions you need to get him is done by Armageddon Stan! You can’t get Armageddon Stan until you place his building and you can’t place his building until you unlock all the other buildings before that one! I’m still working on the distillery so even though I have 7 days to get Jesus I already know it’s impossible! Tiny co really needs to stop requiring timed things to have requirements for other characters you also have to earn other items to get – if they want to make a timed character harder to get make the time shorter or make the amounts of items required more but geese, at lease give people a fighting chance!!

I agree, that was my rant, but i decided to piggyback on your! *chuckle* Then you also have to deal with the rare motorcycle helmets for Peter, and only Neil can do them, unless you have Stan, but you can’t get stan until you earn a ton of cigarettes to trade into twinkies, and for that you need cure darts, and on and on and on.
I should have known the first week was just to lull you into thinking that this event was going to be pleasant and uncomplicated.

Anyone else have super low glasses drop rate? I’ve only gotten 1 drop (2 glasses in it) and I’ve had it up for 3 days now. And it’s a common drop. Hardly common if it doesn’t drop at least 50% of the time in my m ind. Common should be 80% of the time. Need 19 of them on an 8 hour task so ummmmmm…..no chance of having Niel ready for week 2’s start. Though I guess if their intention is he is not a 1 week get then OK, but that;s not usually how it is. Usually charterers in week 1 are required to advance week 2.

The glasses have been dropping fine for me, but the shampoo is almost nonexistent. I’ve had the still since the weekend and only gotten 6 of the 19 I need. At this rate I won’t get an unlock until the event is almost over!

My common glasses are dropping less than the uncommon pocket knives, which also seem to be dropping less than the rare shampoo bottles. The drop rates never make sense. Not that Neil is going to help me undo the damage of setting off timers.

Why is there no organization of people/buildings in storage? When a new task comes up and I need a building to put a character in I have to search through everything to pull it out of storage. Isn’t there some way TinyCo could put them in alphabetical order or something? Or if, for example, Tricia needs PFChinese building to get keys, why can’t we just tap on that task and have the building pop up from storage for placement?
For those of us who have been playing for a long time scrolling through all our stored stuff is a pain, and we have to store most of it so the game doesn’t crash. Grrrrrr!

Hello, if you were a long time player like you say you are, then you would know that when you need a building for a task all you have to do is hit the go button with the lock on it and it will automatically take it out of storage. It’s been like that as far as i can remember and I’ve been playing since the start, so look a little closer when putting characters on tasks instead of rummaging through all you’re inventory. Just helping. Happy gaming.

It does this for me for Buildings. If they need them, the task says “GO” and takes me right to the Building in storage.
I still do also think that more can be done to organize it too though. It is hard to find a decoration or Character by a simple tap at times.

So mad…. I finally bought Cleaveland a week ago for 200 clams, and 2 days later he was available for $1000. So pissed I almost want to quit.

I am right there with you. Also, consider that the fact that they put him on sale right before they offered him for free. They knew they were about to offer him for free and decided to try and squeeze players for clams ahead of time. In my opinion that is a slap in the face to those of us that paid clams for him. Especially when you consider the fact that buying him early offered us almost no advantage over those that got him for free.
They could have at least included a costume pack for him. Its not that I paid for him when others didn’t, its that I didn’t get anything extra for doing that.

WTD – Does Tiny Co ignore EVERYONE who in-game messages them the same question over and over again every 5 days for 6 times or is it just me? What’s the magic number of times you need to message them before they answer your question? Does anyone know?…

WTD tinyco I asked for help since before the wrestle mania event to get my game linked up properly on Facebook and I have YET to hear anything from you… All you did was erase the messages and didn’t say if you can fix it or not… WTD is my game gone for good or what? WTD? RE: Rare items in Short Events. So I did an experiment with the wrestling event (I hate wrestling, so I didn’t care about any of it) by not spending 1 thin clam throughout the event and I got absolutely nowhere. I play a lot during the day, but couldn’t even unlock giant chicken. Been playing since Feb/March of 2015 and I can honestly say the game has gotten MORE rigged for you to spend clams to proceed even a little. The early days of the game are most definitely the most fun. Opening each playing area was a task that you knew someday with patience and diligent play you would accomplish. But having opened and completed every area with nothing new but mind numbingly hard, clam draining events I’ve lost my taste for it.. I love a challenge but the timed events with terrible drops gets frustrating and definitely takes the fun out of play. Learned my lesson in the Halloween event where I bought every one of the wacky candy droppers only to find that each only worked for little bit and then nothing (liquorice in trades anyone?)
Sidebar: Awful customer service. Over the last 3 events I have had glitches in the game that took clams away for no reason, changed number of items required (potions for Princess Bride event) and similar problems in Star Trek. Customer service doesn’t care. They do respond but string you along until the event ends. Literally got an email from CS stating “Sorry we cannot refund anything after an event ends.” Well guess what? I contacted you 10 days ago. So in short I am now a confirmed Freemium player.
P.S. Wanna make long term players who have spent good $$$ on the game in the past happy. Let us exchange some of our millions of coins for some clams.

Can’t load the **** game! My phone and tablet both either sit on the opening screen or tell me they can’t connect to the server, and on Facebook on my computer, it just sits there with a fully loaded bar and plays music (no music on the mobiles). How am I supposed to get anything done if I can’t even play? WTD?!

Ok seriously, I mean Seriously!!! now I have to have Clevemire to cure Chris of radiation sickness. Just got started and Chris, he’s already sick so who knows how long he’s going to be tied up. I’m not buying Clevemire! Are any more characters going to be tied up all game with this stupid sick junk all event long? This isn’t smart its stupid!

WTD Tiny CO?
I can deal with the back to back events. I’ve come to peace with the fact that I won’t get everything from every one, and I prioritize accordingly.
But what is with the CRAFTING?
Princess Bride and Wrestlemania made progress. You sent people to do tasks and earned the currency you needed to turn in to get each prize. You sent people to train, and just flat out got what you needed. It was progress.
Boomsday, though, is a huge step back. Why do we always have to send characters to get one item, craft that item into a second item, use the second item to defeat an enemy, hope that enemy drops a third item, convert the third item into currency, and then FINALLY use that currency to redeem a prize?
IT’S TOO **** COMPLICATED.
I want to stick with this one. I want the Clevemire costume and s
Stan’s apocalypse costume. But I can already tell that they’re going to make this one overly difficult.

Events lately have become a permanent WTD moment. I’ve been playing for about a year and a half and when I started I was able to get mostly to the end of events, like American Dad or Ghostbusters or the Super Hero one (think it was maybe a comic con event?) Now, now I’m lucky if I can even get to the second or third phase of an event before it so abruptly ends without an in game notification (I haven’t seen the usual “event ends tomorrow” pop up for the past few). The events over the time I’ve played have gotten shorter and the first week of every event lately is so broken it sets everyone back. But since they’re now barely even giving us breathing room between scheduled events, they can no longer extend events like they used to when they had issues. The long times for tasks for items that barely even drop has gotten out of control as well. As a free player the way events have gone lately it’s almost like a slap in the face because whether they realize it or not, tinyco. has shoved a wedge between free players and the game, pretty much making it impossible to get anywhere in an event unless you spend lots of cash on clams. I thought for sure that Giant Chicken was going to be easy to get but I wasn’t even far enough to place his building. Knowing the way the game has been lately I fear if they do bring him back he is going to be a premium character only which is another thing that’s gotten out of hand, the price of premium content. I remember 50-100 clam mystery boxes that are now 150-250. 100-250clam characters that are now 300-750. The inflation of the premium content is crazy. I mean really, $25 JUST for koolaid man? WTD!!! /endrant

I didn’t play much, maybe two or three times a day at most during the wrestling event. Didn’t even get Maxy Paddy. Wow getting items was nearly impossible. Might as well have not even played during the last two weeks at all. I know if I played more I might have progressed a little further, but really not motivated by this game anymore. Playing TO much more now. So glad you guys have an addicts site for that game too. Might even look into the new “house of mouse” game too. TinyCo is losing me to other more enjoyable games fast.

I finally have to leave this game. I placed the cage match ring and collected from it the first time Sat. evening. Now Monday afternoon i collected from it the last time. Once Sat, 3 days i collected twice, 2 days i collected 3 times because i rushed collection before going to bed. No voodoo dolls ever dropped. I placed Giant Chicken Thurs. evening. Since then Maxi for 5 days trained then splashed constantly. The last 48 hours the only thing i’ve done with the character is ring splash. No voodoo dolls dropped. I’ve already completed SCSA’s and Heavy Flo’s mini quest lines as i completed collecting for them some time ago. But I had no interest in those char’s. i wanted the Chicken.
It would cost me 280 clams to buyout the dolls, i doubt speeding ring splash or the cage ring would do anything and be cheaper. I currently have over 600 clams as i am one of the people who supported the game and regularly bought clams on promo’s etc.
But i’m also one of those people who could not understand why someone would remain in an abusive relationship. And this game and TinyCo’s treatment of the players has become nothing less then abusive. I won’t continue to support those actions. The app has already been deleted, i will find something else to spend my money on.
Bunny I loved the website and the hard work you’ve put into it and i hope your current medical problems are resolved shortly.
I know one player leaving won’t change anything in how TinyCo operates, but i just couldn’t continue to play this game and feel good about myself.

I feel the exact same way as you Badger!! I despise wrestling… Hated having to get Austin just to get chicken- and that’s not going to happen now since the voodoo dolls NEVER dropped for me from the cage ring, over several days. Had one from Paddy but that’s it, and only made it half way on the coupon things from clearing the wrestler guys. And still chicken would have cost me over 350 clams with just those items left. So frustrated by this stupid game and drop rates and glitches…. Etc! WTD?!! Ok… Think I’ll go back to trying to level up my super cool princess bride characters – and find happy place again. I guess this game has something for everyone to enjoy, mostly! Bunny- hope you feel better soon, thanks for keeping tabs on things for us crazies out here- I wish you all the best for your recovery!

I never come on to WTD thread but I was compelled this time. I agree with Badger whole-heartedly. I also saw a few people who have been playing as long as me and agree the events are getting too complicated and forcing you to buy things. I’ve literally waited years for Giant Chicken and this is how we get him? Unreal. I play a decent amount daily but also have a job and a life so what does that leave? All I wanted was GC and you had to get Steve Austin to get him? I dont like wrestling but could appreciate SCSA for nostalgia’s sake, but again this was ridiculous.
Please Bunny, you’re like the voice of the people. Let them know that genuine fans of the game are getting really fed up.

If you looked at my comments on this post and event ending, you will see I already voiced all concerns on the Event and they are already talking about ways to bring back the Event/Characters. They are fully aware of how the Event went down and Player response to it. 😉

Same here! Just barely managed to get Stone Cold unlocked an hour before it ended. The chicken should have been allowed to be unlocked post-event. I understand they need to make money to do all this, and I don’t mind supporting it with purchases when I can swing it, but….just once, one event that isn’t predicated on having to buy clams to be able to finish everything would be nice. Just one. Vent over.

WTD! The cage match ring says it drops voodoo dolls x 3. I *finally* got a drop on the ring, it only dropped 1. I had 1 from a drop on Maxi Paddi, so if it had dropped 3, I’d have had the 4 for the chicken. I’m freemium, I appear to have been a lot luckier than everyone else in this thread, but in the end, I got screwed too.
Tinyco has been contacted, but I’m not optimistic since the event ends today.

Don’t hold your breath. Had a similar issue with pain killers in getting Steve Austin and they didn’t respond to a single in-game message even though they acknowledged on this site that the drop should have been two for that one. I went three days until the second one dropped and now the only thing I need for Giant Chicken are the three voodoo dolls and I have one more chance before the event ends. Maxi Paddy dropped two so I only need two more voodoo dolls but I am not holding out much hope. I messaged them stating that I lost the three days because their game didn’t do something it was supposed to and they didn’t respond to any of my in-game messages (one polite one each day) and could they do something to help me (but much kinder than that), but that message has gone without a response as well. For what it is worth and I know Bunny hates this but I am a victim of the leaderboard fiasco so I think they have my game on permanent “mute”. It’s what I believe and someone will have to convince me otherwise. Stinks because all I wanted was Giant Chicken and I focused solely on that to make sure I got him. And I would have had the drop done what it was supposed to do.

Well I think I’m in the minority here possibly, but those &^$%$&^%*% skulls. I have 3. 3 skulls is all I have of constantly sending on tasks. So that means no Stone Cold. Also means no Chicken of course because he hinges directly on Stone Cold. It just seems I’m the recipient of really really bad luck. I hate that about rare items. As Bunny has said just make them super long tasks (24 hours?) but payout. All should be like that. Enough of this chance garbage. Luckily this game has made me care so little about it lately that I’m not phased and of course not being phased means not willing to ever spend money on it again. I’m sure TC could care less about one person’s spending, but still. I hope someone there now has to get a small latte as opposed to a medium while at Starbucks.

And another poorly timed TInyCo event comes to an end. I have no idea how any freemium player can come close to doing things if they have real life commitments. Thanks to the returning bug of only getting 20 fans, I’m just short of the item BEFORE the giant chicken. So yeah, good luck getting that, wouldn’t even know there was a phase 2 if this sight wasn’t around!
I want to keep playing, but I keep being disappointed and want to give it all up. I’m at a crossroads.

I hate drop rates, especially on events that are short. Another event I am not sure what I will miss and not see the end of the story. I found out last night it ends today. What? I am not even close to getting Chicken let alone anyone else that comes later. I will never find out. I set alarms to get get drops, but so sad when you wait and get nothing most of the time. The Simpsons game is great. I wait and get what I need to progress and ENJOY the story. I know this is a different game, but it grows less enjoyable each time I click an get nothing.

TinyCo, you really need to fix your game. I enjoy the heck out of playing TQFS, but KNOCK IT OFF! The past few events have been piled one on top of the next, but this time it looks like a shameless cash-grab, and it doesn’t even work correctly. Different people are reporting different bugs, personally it took me over a week to get both painkillers(they dropped separately). People are not going to continue playing a game that screws them out of time and rewards. Outside the buggery…I mean bug issues, there is the problem of locking characters behind other characters!!!! Why in the name of Zeus’ butt-crack do I need to unlock Steve Austin to get the Giant Chicken?! At least try to have it make sense. The WWE event was just one more event to get people to spend money, and as soon as it’s over all the buildings and decorations will have to be stowed to make room for more special event items. I know, I know, the upcoming district is permanent, and was excited to be part of the beta testing, but excitement gave way to frustration when I discovered that characters in the resort still showed up in the job queue.
…if you can’t extend this event and fix the drop table, the least you can do is make the Giant Chicken a goal or reward from the new district.

I think I hate TinyCo. This is the 4th time I’ve had issue related to an event and attempted to get her via customer support. On 3 other occasions I didn’t get a response until weeks after the event was over and it was too late to do anything. One time it was over a month!
Once again, I’ve had issues with an event, and taking your advice, I contacted support. First about Pain Killers and then about the spawn rate of fans. That was during the first week of the event. I’ve sent 8 messages at this point and not a single response. If im lucky, they respond to me sometime late April.
It’s really nice that you have the special Stewie Signal that they answer immediately, but that because they know you guys help generate a lot of revenue and engagement for them. But as a player, and a potential customer who will now never spend a dime on this game, I’m very disappointed.
Horrible, horrible customer service. TinyCo should be ashamed. I’ll find something else to play.

Lol @ Stewie Signal. Keep in mind I have to wait many times too for answers. I get the frustrations as they do impact my play too. I am a paying customer as I have MULTIPLE games I use for testing for the site as well as playing on my own (it’s not fun to get it all at once and not play through). From day one, I have always noted how the delay in customer service is the toughest. It is sadly the down side of them being so small. I personally wish it was better and faster too.

Been working on getting voodoo dolls to get the Giant Chicken for a week now. Only have 2 so far. Need 4. I check in on my game constantly including in the middle of the night. Doesn’t seem quite fair to punish freemiums with an extra rare drop. WTD!!!

WTD I thought the steel cage ring was supposed to drop 3 voodoo dolls not just 1?!? Apparently not and tiny Co is sorry for my “frustrations”. Yes because being lied to is a frustration. Nearly an entire week working towards giant chicken and only 2 voodoo doll drops. One being from that useless ring.

Whelp, guess I’m not getting either Giant Chicken or Stone Cold since having to have an awful lot of the same characters working on items for the two of them kind of destroyed my already bad drop rates. I could theoretically get SCSA if I get him low enough (he’s currently at around 340 clams to unlock IIRC, I have just shy of 200), but GC is completely out of the question since his unlock level is somewhere over 1000 clams still.
Why is it that TinyCo seems to be having so much difficulty getting events that are evenly balanced compared to EA lately? It used to be the exact opposite, where TQFS was pretty even handed and TSTO frequently had prizes I wish I could have gotten but missed. Here now I always seem to be behind, while over in TSTO I’ve finished the Crooks & Ladder event and am currently just relaxing while finishing up loose ends from it. I’m not premium in either, so why does it seem that one game feels more of a punishment than the other? Maybe just have an absolute rule that no “stuff” you need for event character unlocks is over “Uncommon”?

This event has got to be the most outrageously unfair one weve had in a while.
I have been logging in every time any character finished an action even set alarms so i could do so throughout the night and been spending clams to have actions finish sooner all so i could get giant chicken and what do i have out of it? Nothing. Outside of the maxi paddy costume i have not got a single damn item in thie event.
I have been faithfully playing this game since the very day it released and ive seen the increasingly difficult events circulate but never have i gone through an event without getting absolutely anything. There was what 8 new characters this event? And not a single one has been obtainable for a freemium gamer. Ive known that tinyco has no understanding of the balance between premium and freemium for a long time but i think this is the straw that broke the camels back. Whats the point in putting in all this effort just so i can get nothing?

And this is the even that will make me finally quit this game. I’ve been playing since it pretty much came out and have seen it go from being able to complete events by the skin of your teeth if you wanted to in freemium to absolutely needing to pay A LOT to get close to completing events. I understand they gotta make money but at least make it somewhat close if you are the type that is willing to set alarms throughout the night to grind actions/get items. But these events are not worth $20-$50 a pop to complete. One day left and I am no where near getting the giant chicken because of double booking characters with necessary actions like Maxi Paddy this time around. And he’s part of the original friggin plot!! So Angry and wish I could sell my account to recoup some of the money I’ve wasted.

Ok, never posted here before today, I don’t know what I did wrong with this event, but I haven’t even unlocked Steve Austin yet and it ends tomorrow?!?! WTD???
I bought the undertaker, the building that drops belts, and 2 mystery boxes, I thought, ok small goal… I just want the giant chicken for my game. I play roughly every 4 hours, sent paddy constantly off doing the next thing, I’m on “really ready to rumble part 3”.
I just saw that it ends tomorrow?! I’m not giving up, but I will not spend any more money to get to the Halfway point before the end. I keep wondering how this happened. I’ve been playing a while, did star trek the first time , got all of them… loved the fairy tale event. Got all I was after from that… I accept that they are a business making money…. but…
Really bummed out I won’t get that darn chicken. 😦

WTD! Event is already ending?!?! Already know that I can’t get chicken or SCSA. . guess I can just spend the rest of the time clearing new land (YEAH) and reconfiguring my town.
I hate getting to this close to the end of an event and realizing there is NO WAAAAY to progress – too long to wait, too low drop rates. I spent too much time this event waiting on ONLY PETER for things to progress.
Looking forward to the next one.

I must say I agree with donutphilosophy’s comment about this event being “fair”. When it first started, I was intimidated by the volume of items, but I broke it down and realized that all I wanted was Giant Chicken so I figured out the best path to achieve this and only focused on performing through those tasks that led me down that path. Not to be forgotten, none of this advance work would even be possible were it not for the generosity of Bunny and the Addicts here (Thank you Bunny!). So I plodded along and did nothing but whatever was needed for matches to build up belts and then trophies. And around 5 pm PT today I will have the final belts needed for Heavy Flo. Now I passed on both timed characters as I only saw that they would slow me down (and I was right) and since they weren’t critical to getting Giant Chicken, I could bypass them and move to the next item in the crafting area. I was about a day late with launching the second week’s content due to first-week issues with Maxi Paddy but was able to make that up.
Admittedly, I was helped by three bouts of insomnia which allowed me to resend tasks during those three nights which had to have helped me immensely. The four- and six-hour tasks are so critical that I am sure I got an extra cycle or two from my normal gameplay. But I am not purposefully interrupting my sleep for the game; just a happy accident.
But I also agree with Heather Lee about needing a break from all these events. I was not blessed with the Tan Lines District, but I hope that is next. Although from reading about it, I hope it is just something that can stay in the game and give us something to do with characters who are just sitting in storage or when we are banned from future events due to all the leaderboard cheating we are all doing (cough, cough). As “fair” as this event was, you still needed to keep grinding. I would like all events to be paced similarly to this and also have that option to bypass things that are not critical to the end goals. I think this is a good addition to the game presentation and will keep hardcore premium players happy and allow others to progress and not feel as though they can’t make any advancement.

Coming from someone who has played from the start…( played 80% freemium at first which has moved towards 100%)
When first starting this game it was awesome my favorite game by far but over the past 5-7 events my rating has been diminishing by the event. When I first started playing it was exciting to be able to play two or three times a day and be able to achieve most of the goals. I was willing to put around 25 bucks a month into the game. This was usually saved for the very end of events when there were one or two things I couldn’t finish and really wanted or something special I wanted to splurge on. Over the years the game def picked up steam with events coming more often and lots more things being released into the game but it was still at a reasonable pace..now comes to the change and from my point of view as well as most of the people I know who play. I get that tinyco does all this for the bottom line. They are here to make money but its gotten so obvious that its turned us away from the game. For those who are new and freemium when new events start don’t look at any goals or needs just start playing and don’t worry about anything because for the first few days everything will sound impossible ( and it is) but you can tell they release it that way to get the true addicts to hurry up and spend money and clams to rush through it. After a few days it will always change requirements and how to get things. Usually it got to the point were the first week was only good for falling behind. Being able to work from home I check my game every 2 hrs when events are going on and yet there still no way to keep up because the item drops have become impossible. I know they are not the same company but Tsto is so much better about events. You are required to do tasks that’s it not tasks to collect things to buy things to trade for things to get what you need. This last event I spent 7 days with a collection every 2 hrs to finally get the pain killers this made me not able to get any characters after her.. For a long time freemium players were behind in events but almost always were able to get most of the items by catching up in the last week when you need not. Complete tasks to progress I’n the game. (Had a lot more typed up but cut a lot to post)

WTD is with everyone saying “You should be able to get everything when playing Freemium!”??
I’m sorry, but if every event could be completed without paying anything, then TinyCo would not be in business! I agree that bugs should not be happening, and that some unlock requirements are just a bit TOO hard, or drops TOO rare, but I accept that I am very likely not going to complete everything in an event without spending ANY clams… I spend a few to speed up tasks that I think will get me something that I want, but certainly don’t expect to get everything…
Now: When a bug stops people dead in their tracks for days at at time, I think something should be done to make up for that: Extend the event, or give us the **** Chicken for free! 😉

For the last 3 days I cant get in to the app on my Windows Surface tablet thru Blustacks Android. I’ve been using this for a year. The message says “There was a problem loading the game. Please try again later”. Luckily it works on my Android phone.

I completed all of my tasks for the WWE ring and it says 100% complete but it won’t let me click ready. Is this happening to anyone else?!?!? I was one wrestling match away from getting Giant Chicken!!!

This was one of the fairest events we’ve had in a while.
There was a clear definition of long term goals (chicken and Flo) phase goals (Austin and Paddy) challenge goals (HHH and Roman) and premium.
Chance based premiums were all obtainable in past events and rewarded long term players who already had them.
The main quest line didn’t make us choose between completing it and earning event items
All non challenge goals were obtainable by freemium players with a concentrated effort or a minor investment in free earned clams.
What the deuce!?! Why can’t all events be like this?

Speaking as a freemium player, I disagree.
From my perspective, the drops to unlock Maxi Paddy bottlenecked the entire event. And I did check in with my Quahog at least 8 times a day. I will not be able to unlock Steve Austin (and therefore no Giant Chicken) before the end tomorrow. And Giant Chicken is the only prize I wanted from this event. Well, maybe if they had a Teen Laqueefa costume…
IMHO, the past 2 events are just an indication of what to expect in the future: The vast majority of Freemium players should expect to end each event 1 week behind the “schedule.”

Not sure about the word fair. I have spent a lots and have not managed to unlock Steve, never mind about the only character people actual want…. Giant chicken. I was held up by rare items like many others. I am glad things worked out for you and you enjoyed the event but I am a little disappointed that I will probably miss out on the chicken despite using a lot of clams.

Personal WTD – how do we go from 70 degrees on Saturday to waking up to snow on Tuesday morning? Mother Nature, please make your mind on the weather.
FGTQFS – like many before me I am tired of the constant events of late and have written to TinyCo to express same (and encourage others to do). There would be less need for programming and license rights if they got back to basics.

Annoys me because they are more or less testing you to see if your willing to pay with clams before they give you it for free. Shameless

First off why don’t I ever see mine post here? Second assuming they are in fact posting…. why was Andre the Giant not used in the WWE event- the man was famous as a WWF Superstar wrestler not an actor? It would have been a simple skin to use him in the event.

It all depends on what they’ll legally contracted for. WWE may have laid out specific requirements of Characters they can use to “promote” WWE since their name is being used for the Event. Seems simple solution up front to you, but reality of copyright and legality of every single event is so much more complex than that.

WTD – triggering a timed character just by going into the prize catalogue. Really needs to be changed to clicking “get” before the tier starts. It’s ticked me off in the past, but when you have two timed characters in a mini event, it’s ridiculous.
