Just wanted to throw a question out there for you Bunny…
I wanted touchdown Jesus when the football event was going on, but I was unable to get him. So, I was pretty excited when he showed up in a gamble box. I decided to try for him. After a few attempts I am happy to say that I got him, only to be immediately disappointed that I didn’t also get the base character. This means I am unable to use the costume.
When TD Jesus was offered in the event if you qualified for him you also got the base character. In addition when Mob Boss Consuela was offered in a gamble box we got her base character as well.
My question is: Do you know if this was intended or if this is a bug with Touchdown Jesus? I submitted a ticket asking this, but wondered if you knew.

Per TinyCo… You SHOULD have got him. Check all over in your Inventory. Including a complete scan in your ALL folder of everything. He should be in there somewhere for you. 🙂

It appeared that it was glitch. After a response from TinyCo I started force closing and reopening the app. It finally made Jesus appear in my inventory.

I just started playing again after a year or so away from the game. Should I bother starting the Greek event with two days left, or should I just focus on the district’s? Thanks!

I think at this stage you’d be hard pushed to unlock anything from this event, so why not focus on a couple of district quests 🙂 After all, there will almost definitely be a new event at the end of the week if you want to participate in one 😛

For some reason, I totally missed this post! I’ve been missing it the last couple weeks tho it still seems sadly underused 😥 Are you talking about a BBQ? If so, charcoal is the only way! Else I might as well cook inside on my grill :P:P

My mental breakdown was 2 years ago, and I’m still dealing with it. It is raining here today, and I prefer propane. I hope things are well for you, I am enjoying the game, and this site.

Monday here… means start of the wonderful work week… blah! Otherwise the weather is great. Summer is in full effect here. Been spending a lot of time at the pool recently. Spent most of Saturday there! As far as charcoal vs propane? I guess i’m a bit of a hypocrite because as much as I love the taste of charcoal grilled food I usually use propane because of the easiness to use!

This game is getting onto me. Made a few hasty decisions that cost me precious clams and not get what i wanted as planned. Miscalculations.
The big rant i have is how the game makes u get stuff just to unlock a character. This gets very challenging and frustrating when i dont have the base character and then get his costume during an event to move on in the event. Example i was stuck on week 2 when i realized i didn’t have brian to get tri-bri to progress. Then there’s billy who needs tons of stuff to unlock. Crazy.
I’ve spent 50 clams for an extra worker so i got 2 now. This is because iny only worker was tied up 2 days to unlock tricia and i needed to unlock argo to find that i still cant progress further if i dont unlock billy. Not to mention some tasks are more difficult than others. Like hades and his 8000 ambrosia!
Have to recalibratr mindset to take it slow and if i cant make it, so be it. Take a deep breath and relax.

It is not a simple game for sure. There will always be challenges. Just try to not let it overwhelm you. Focus on one thing at a time and ALWAYS keep mind set “It is OK to NOT get everything”. It makes the game so much better. Use Clams sparingly and only if it gets you something you will still appreciate months from now, otherwise it may just not be worth it. 🙂

Thanks Bunny, and welcome back (can’t say this enough). You keep us sane.
I also play TSTO, which is a easier game to progress and more user-friendly. Have to stop comparing since they are 2 different games, by different creators. I still love FG, for its witty dialogue especially its Facespace pages. You are absolutely right – it is OK not to get everything. Mistakes due to me wanting to get that costume (Medusa Meg), or complete that challenge. After just accepting that I cannot unlock Billy and progress to Week 4, I decided to cash in and reward myself with Neptune! So, I have Zeus and Neptune running around doing their tasks. Satisfied. Meanwhile, I am waiting to unlock Tricia and Connie. Thanks Bunny.

STILL waiting for Neptune to return. It’s been 5 days and numerous email exchanges, and NOTHING has been done to fix the issue unless, of course, you spend money to force him to return. Only then does the so-called “fix” take effect. They gave us an extension on the It’s All Greek to Them challenge that was worthless. I am stuck in phase 3, unable to ever get Billy Finn since Neptune is required from conch shells. It has been yet another event where I spent money but, due to a TinyCo. issue, it was an utter waste.
WTD, will they ever have a glitch free event?

As to the Neptune “issue”, I am still working on it with them to see what they can do. And as far as issues in general, I have yet to see ONE app game in existence that is glitch free. Not one. 😉

I am more frustrated than I have ever been with this or any other game and I jumped the gun waiting for the WTD Thread.

Soooo has anyone ever completed anime peter? How long did it take you?? Myself & my husband both play & neither of us have managed to get the elusive eyeballs to drop despite keeping dr hartman & peter on the quests that claim to drop them (approximately 2 weeks straight at this point for both of us) just curious i mean i know they’re “epic” but goodness me! They seem like a cruel joke at this point lol!

It took FOR EVE RRRRRRRRR. Lol. Eyeballs and Headbands were the death of us all, but eventually they did drop. Probably… a good month or two depending on how often you play.

Definitely charcoal all the way. Must admit I do wish I had a propane grill just to be able to grill something up QUICK, but then the smell of lighter fluid brings me back to my senses! Charcoal is always going to take longer, but the meal will taste much better! And theres the bonus of a little more time to drink a cold beer while waiting for the charcoal to be ready!
