Now, on to the stuffs. With the New Event comes a New Main Questline that will take you through the Event, unlock more Side Questlines, and trigger Challenges. For the Candy Men Event, the Main Questline is Man Candy.

At this point, you can use your menu and the Candyman Pawtucket Icon… or just go straight to Al’s. It will take 1 sec to create the Costume.
Candyman Pawtucket Pat comes with a Questline (Candy Coated Pat), Fully Tasked, 6hr Task to ALWAYS drop 1 Cocoa Beans, 2 Animated Tasks

Bogus. Finished the Candyman Pat challenge with time to spare. Have owned Pat for months..never got the skin. He was in the resort at the time so maybe that buggered it up some kind of way?…Starting to feel like I’m wasting my time with it..

I finish the all quest for Candyman Pawtucket Pat. However I didn’t see the costume in Al. All I see in my game is the Candy Costed Pat questline. Do you know what happen to him? Where can I find him ?

Do you own Pat from District 10? If so, find him and make sure he is active in the game… then go to Al’s to finish the costume. If you do NOT have Pat from District 10… you will have to wait til you get him.

The drop rates are soo low..I get hardly any peppermint 1ring so far not many cocoa things so behind on bars for peter any I did make I used to trade for the buildings .I got loads of fudge but nothing asking for that! I spent clams on the gummy bear but still don’t get many bears so don’t think was worth it at least it a cute decoration 😁

And didn’t realise timed ones were for pats costume missed it few days ago cuz couldn’t make enough bars 😑 oh well! Jus placed candy land thing so hopefully will give enough choc for peter to have bars and I’ll get rings in time!!! 😀

My Chocolatey Volcano has stopped giving out Milk Chocolate Bars. The icon (which when you click on the volcano, you can see that it gives out chocolate bars) is not even there anymore. I unlocked Peter’s new costume today (Blueberry Peter), I am not sure whether that made the volcano stop giving out the chocolate bars? I still need the chocolate bars for trading for the other items in the store..

You mean no event at all? What are you playing on? If it is Windows stand alone, it does not get events. Only up to District 8

I don’t own Pat yet, but I was trying to keep up with the challenges. Got 1 & 2 done, but peanuts will not drop. I’ve gotten 1 today. Peppermints and ring pops also seem way too rare for having earned the decorations or building that drop them.
Missed getting Xena by 2 freemium clams last week.

The candy rings are a killer. I have had the house placed since Saturday night and I only have the one ring that dropped when I placed it. I have gone on every two hours except for sleeping every day and not a single drop. I have already got he bars and potions and just need 6 more grape soda. I hope there is not something wrong with its drop rate.

Yes same here as well. I messaged them 6 hours ago.. will let you know if I Lear back. I unlocked the cottage 3 days ago and not a single drop since I built the building. Drop rate is definitely broken!

I should finish timed challenge 3 tonight for the costume. Any idea what happens if I don’t already have Pat unlocked in my game? Will it automatically add him in regular costume also once the quest line expires this week? This is what happens with Apocolyspe Stan.

The 2nd quest was tough (getting enough peppermint bars) in 48 hours, but the last quest to get enough peanut butter bars will be easy within the three day timeline!
I’ve already have them all created or manufacturing now! 🍫🍬🍭

2 of 4 ring pops so far. Haven’t had one in 2 days. 9 of 15 chocolate bars, and 24 of 42 sodas. Slow going for blueberry Peter. Big thanks to Russian tigger for the heads up on the timed challenges. I was able to be ready for parts 2 and 3. Bunny, it’s great to see you back on. I really hope your feeling better.

How’s everyone’s ring pop drop rate? I’ve only had 1 since Saturday. Was hoping the drop rate would be at least once a day – as everything else for blueberry Peter should smoothly.

Worst drop rate ever… went over a day during the timed 2nd part and got zero peppermints… so got screwed on that one… and now Pat has gone away…

Peppermints – yeah, really not seeing many of these drop. Got lucky with pat quest 2… But barely made it. Now I have an exchange item for soda pop that would yield 68 soda pop, but requires 17 peppermint!! Even with three days left and the trees etc… Don’t think that’s gonna happen! 😏

I’ve got the same one. My advice? Ignore it unless you’re a deco collector. You can get enough Soda to buy the items needed to unlock Pat’s and Peter’s costumes with just the Soda recipes before that one in that slot and in the top left slot (the one that uses plain Chocolate Bars). I’ve actually got an available Soda recipe that I’m ignoring even though I have it checkmarked because I’ve already bought all the F2P item dropping buildings and need the Chocolate Bars to finish Peter’s costume. The kicker, if you’re like most of us, is going to be the Ring Pops.

I think it must be a glitch for certain users, have just seen a screenshot of one on FB and it appears to be normal size. I will message them tomorrow if it remains, otherwise I am going to have to zap a whole chunk of town, because cannot see what is going on underneath it easily

I just placed candy land for part three to unlock pats skin, and what I assume is a glitch has given me the hugest candy land around!! It shows as taking a space similar to other buildings when placing but onced placed it grew and grew! Its not affecting gameplay though. Odd!

I have had to spend some clams to be able to achieve part two for pats costume. I did lose a lot of time yesterday as I went into London for a Neil young concert. Part three should be easy though as I have a stash of peanuts ready and crafting. The main quest is ticking along as is the skin for peter, I wish this was a longer event, I’m loving the concept.

Weird, I got him easily and spent exactly one clam (Quagmire had 30 minutes left on his peppermint task but I was going to bed and wanted to collect and restart)
In part one I made sure not to fill up the queues, but always kept something producing so I could squeeze in caramels as soon as I got the sugar. And I took Lois and Joe off chocolate and put them on peanuts and I loaded up the queue at night to make peanut butter but didn’t make the bars till part two stated. Made the peppermint giving trees and Herbert’s task priority and ended up where I was done with everything well before Quagmire’s 24 hour task was done.

On part two of the challenge, and struggling a bit with the peppermint. It is going to be close, but doable. I am more worried about the peanuts needed for part three, because I have not had even one dropping so far, and at that rate there is no chance at all for the Candyman.

If you have the appropriate building, as well as Lois and Joe both on task, you should have little problem getting sufficient Peanuts. They don’t show up as often as we like, but the drop rate seems to increase before too long, and you only need 7 of them to get Pat’s costume, and three days to get them (well, technically 2 days 20 hrs if you take off crafting time for that last one). You should get them in plenty of time.

I am working on the Sweet Shop Challenges for Pat’s skin, but to be honest, I really don’t care about the Peter skin. It does nothing for me! So the way I look at it, I will have a nice relaxed week, as the only real goal I have in this game, unless they drop something really cool on Monday, is the dancing panda! *chuckle*

All right. Looking good for Candy Man Pat. One Peppermint Bar away from part 2 (in about 4 hr), and I don’t have any Peanuts or Peanut Butter at the moment, but I do already have the Peanut dropping building, and have set Lois and Joe on Peanut duty, so I should have 7 easy in a day or so. Finally, it shouldn’t take me very long to manufacture enough more Peppermint Bars (5) to get the extra 35 Sodas I need for the quest building. Liking the event so far, but ever vigilant for that second dropping shoe…

That “shoe” appears to be the Ring Pops. I only have the one from the initial building placement… Everything else I should have in time. Only need one more six pack of Grape Soda, and I’ve already got the components for it. Need 6 more Chocolate Bars than the ones I already have made or making, but getting those last 11 Cocoa Beans I need to make them shouldn’t be a problem, since I don’t need any other components any more. And I already have all of the fourth item (which is currently slipping my mind).

I am also up to part 6 on the main quest and have also finished sweet shop pt 1 without triggering part 2 yet. The only tasks I have open is Man Candy, I Got The Blues for Blueberry Peter, and the daily Quest for Stuff.

Im at Part 3 of the challenge, had stored up few peanut butters as had feeling they’d be needed for Part 3, so should do this in the 24hrs Quagmire quest takes.
Strangely every time I think of Candyman, I think of the Clive Barker character not something sweet and fun. Not sure what that says about me 😅😅

How far in the Main Questline are you? How many OTHER tasks are open in your Task Menu?

I’m on part 6 of the main quest line and have 16 tasks open (the last event triggered a load of quests for the skins from comicon I think). I did think number of open tasks might be the problem but I had the same number of tasks open when part 1 of sweet shop triggered.

They will be a HUGE problem as nothing new can open without the extra room. So if only one spot…. just one task at a time will trigger. Try to keep it under 10 to ensure you are not missing anything. To give you and idea… there can be up to 12 Tasks per Event at least triggering and popping up. Side Questlines, Main Questlines, Clam Offers, Challenges, etc. So try to keep it down or you will never see some Questlines and miss many others.
