Just a quick tidbit. I am currently away from home and won’t be back til a lil bit later. In the meantime I will post the Basic TinyCo FAQ for you to get an idea of the overall Event. Once I return home, I will bring you the usual MORE detailed breakdown of all that the Event has to offer.
EVENT ENDS THURSDAY, JULY 14th @3PM PACIFIC
I am releasing this info as some are seeing it live now, mainly iOS. None of my Google devices have it live and active. Mainly just splash screen. It is active now in my Google devices. Some I had to restart for update to show.
First up, the Basics
- Players will need to download the New App Version 1.25.0 from your App Market (in iOS & some Google so far)
- Players will need to have at LEAST District 3 Unlocked and Al’s completed
- Players will only see this on the Mobile App Version (iOS, Google, Amazon, Facebook). NOT Windows Stand Alone
- PLAY THE GAME! Items unlock in stages and as you progress, so if you do not see an item it is most likely you have not progressed far enough in the Main Questline to unlock it. Check details below for more specifics on unlock points
- Don’t have a TON of Tasks open in your Task Menu. If you have too many open, no new ones can arrive. (Keep it under 10). If you do not see new Tasks popping up, clear out some incomplete Tasks already on your List to make room for more

How do I participate in Peter’s Prehistoric Park?
You must have District 3 unlocked and Al Harrington’s repaired in order to take part in Peter’s Prehistoric Park.
When does Peter’s Prehistoric Park end?
Peter’s Prehistoric Park will end on Thursday, July 14 at 3 PM, PDT.
Any Peter’s Prehistoric Park content that is not fully unlocked or purchased will disappear from the game at that time.
How do I clear Crestosaurus eggs?
You will need 1 amber to create Reptile DNA at the Amber Processing Plant. Each batch of Reptile DNA will take 1 hour to craft. After you have crafted the Reptile DNA, place it near the Crestosaurus eggs to help the eggs hatch.
The area that the Reptile DNA covers will be shown with a green circle. If an egg is in this circle, it will turn purple. Tap the checkmark to use the Reptile DNA while the Crestosaurus egg is purple and it will hatch into Crestosauruses.
Please note the Reptile DNA will only work on one egg at a time.
How do I clear Crestosauruses?
Once you clear the Crestosaurus eggs, they will hatch into 3 Crestosauruses that can be cleared by tapping on them.
How do I unlock Dino Tamer Peter?
Dino Tamer Peter is available at Al Harrington’s.
To unlock him, you will need:

You can unlock the Velociraptor after repairing the Velociraptor egg in Fossil Fueled PT4.

Build the Raptor Training Pen
The Velociraptor is available until Thursday, July 14 at 3 PM, PDT. If she is not completely unlocked, she will disappear from the game at that time. If she is unlocked before the event ends, you will be able to continue her quests after the event has ended.
How do I create Raptor DNA?
You will need 1 blue amber to create Raptor DNA at the Amber Processing Plant. Each batch of Raptor DNA will take 30 minutes to craft.
How do I get Dino Chris?
Dino Chris is available in the shop for 260 clams. He will be available for purchase until Thursday, July 14 at 3 PM, PDT.
What is the Welcome Center?
The Welcome Center is where you can research the blueprints of the Prehistoric Park attractions . When you select a blueprint, you can see the materials needed to create it. Once created, the buildings can be purchased in the shop for coins.
What is the Raptor Training Pen?
In the Raptor Training Pen, you can train the Velociraptor to increase her level. To train her, you will need to have Created Dino Tamer Peter and use 3 servings of raptor food. Tap on both the trainer and trainee to start the training. Each session will take 5 hours and 30 minutes.
Fossil Fueled PT 10 won’t complete! No worries. This is the end of phase 1. Once phase 2 is out, you’ll be able to complete it and move onto the next phase.

So, I wanted the Asteroid Prevention Center, I went to unlock the Blue Prints… it took my 6 Blue DNA and 172 Claws, and it opened the Dinomeat thing. What a scam.

I noticed I had one that didn’t turn purple because apparently it was targeting one directly behind it.. obviously I can’t be sure this is the case in your game.

Since I posted this I have had some spawn behind it and I was able to clear those but those three eggs are all still there. If there’s one behind them they’re stacked perfectly.

Hope another source is added for claws. To get past level 7 you will need 666 of them just to get Dino and her pen. Plus those required for blueprints, Peter outfit, etc. Quests and 15 for each egg won’t cut it.

Mine have been spawning quite often… Is your game fully updated/restarted your device etc? If you’ve tried basic I’d contact them in game as that does seem odd.

My leaderboard button from the Greek event disappeared, but I never got my prizes yet, and I DID look in my inventory several times, lol. I qualified for all three prizes, but haven’t seen any of them yet. Is this happening to anybody else? I messaged them in-game, but they haven’t responded yet…

So, as I was accepting Hercules, and the other characters my phone rang, and when I go back I no longer have them in my game. I tried Tinyco in the past when the same thing happened when I lost Patty. Luckily she came back in later events, but kinda annoying when Tinyco basically says your word against mine, and never puts back in my inventory . Anybody ever have this issue?

is this normal? the prehistoric path blueprint is locked while the others are all unlocked.

I have the same issue: I assume that the path is locked until some other trigger point is reached, that we haven’t reached yet. Like the Dino Leashes for Dino Peter are still locked for now (for me, at least).

My game crashes when accessing the Welcome Center. I can’t do research to progress the quests.

I can’t click on the dinosaur eggs to hatch them… there are sparkles frozen above them and nothing happens when I click. I’ve tried restarting, and don’t really know what else to do

So the basic stuff to work for first is unlocking that Velociraptor which will help unlock the Peter costume and getting the Asteroid Prevention Center.

The amber drop rates are absolutely atrocious. Especially those labeled “common.”

Mine have actually been true to the description. I think the problem is that we’re used to the basic version of the crafting component (plain Amber, in this case) being an Always drop, either officially or in practice, so getting a Common here is kind of jarring. Drop rates on the Blue Amber are horrible, but that”s usually the case with Uncommon. They’re a bit better than normal, honestly. Despite the descriptions, I’ve found the true rarity of the rates to be, in increasing rarity, Always, Common, Rare, Uncommon, Epic. Very Rare should be “Vary” Rare, because it should be where Uncommon actually is (which should be between Common and Rare), but it can vary wildly, from beyond Epic to merely similar to Rare.

So far I’m using the same basic people as usual:
– Bonnie for meat (I can’t recall the exact item name) and blue amber
– Peter, Joe: amber
– Lois, Chirs, Mort: amber, blue amber
– Jerome: Goey fossil
– Bruce: Goey fossil, blue amber
The crestosaurus are dropping claws (always) and meat (sometimes).

Just check the popups for everything you have to collect. That should pick up all the characters you need. Hitting the GO button should take you right to them no matter what they’re doing. Haven’t tested this in Tanlines yet, but that works on the daily quest GO buttons. If they’re in Tanlines it just asks if I want to take them out.

In any task like collecting the amber if you click on the little i icon next to it, it will bring up a list of the characters who can complete that task, then clicking on that character in that list will take you to them, so if they are in the hotel it will ask you if you want to bring them out.

Yep. Every single player who plays with something other than a smartphone or tablet is completely unable to play, and TinyCo hasn’t responded to anyone on their page or email for more than 12 hours about the glitch affecting hundreds of thousands of players.

After starting Peter’s Prehistoric Park, any time I try to send a character on a task, whether I click the character itself or its box in the corner, my game freezes. If TinyCo could look into this I’d really appreciate it. Thank you for reading.

Am in the process of building the Bamboo Love Shack. There are now tiny star-like images all over the eggs, the building site up into the event area & now I’m unable to tap on the eggs to hatch them like I was before the build. I do have DNA available to hatch eggs, but when I tap on eggs I just get boxed messages of the items behind & around them. I’ve reported this to TinyCo, just wanted to know if this is a glitch &I if anyone else is experiencing this.

The stars are acting just like the smoke was used for the eggs in the other event to highlight them for people who have their maps covered in buildings. Haven’t experienced any problems tapping the eggs personally.

The Greek Life event had me wondering how some of the people can get sooooo many coins on the leadership board?? Are they really spending THAT much money on the game? Even if you played the game 24/7 I don’t see how they manage to obtain so many coins? Anyone know?

I have no job, no family, no social life, and I sleep on the couch in front of my computer, and never go outside. Even with me playing constantly for more than 3 solid weeks, I got to 677 points. Had to be money.

I’m the same, completely F2P since Peterpalooza, and had enough over 1000 (want to say close to 1100?) that I was in the low 4000s of the leaderboard. I think I spent 7 Clams the whole event, and that was just to speed up a Zeus offering the first week so that the drops lined up better. It’s just resource management. I usually ignore decos and non-item dropping buildings as much as is possible to do and still advance. In this case, once I got Medusa Meg, I put all my effort into farming the Athena and Neptune offerings, since those two offered the best and quickest Styx Coin payouts, with the occasional Zeus or Hades offering when I had crafting downtime (since the crafting times for the A and N offerings were so short). Similarly, I checked out on all candy but Chocolate Bars on this last event, once it got to the point where that was all that was needed for Blueberry Peter.

I spent zero money or clams and got almost 1200 coins (4100 in ranking). I chose early in from day 1 to focus on coins. I never made it to the final phase, but got all the freemium characters and even got one of the gods (Zeus). I actually made 200 clams on the Greek event.

Well done. I got to around rank 2200 without spending a clam and unlocked two of the gods (Zeus & Neptune). How did you make so many clams – did I miss something? I earned 15 or so from the level quests, but that’s obviously way short of 200!

Me, too. I got 1285 coins in just 2-3 days once I found out about Pegakitten as the 3rd tier prize…. Ignored everything except offerings to Athena and Neptune. Ended up well within the first tier! Freemium players just need to choose carefully because they can’t do everything. I often don’t get into the last phase or just get a brief peek. I really wanted Little Red Riding Hood Stewie but just missed him in the fairy tale event. Never got close to the princesses.
Now in the candy mini-event, I got nuthin’ …. No blueberry Peter, no Pat. But I was bounced out of the running for Pat the first day so I didn’t try very hard, just checked in occasionally to pick up free clams from the tv and poof some jelly bears. Got some nice buildings and decos for winter holidays, though. The drops were too slow for me to get Peter but them’s the breaks.

Yep, I got mine (tier 3). There’s a big splash screen / notification, and it went into my inventory. I don’t know about Tier 1 & 2, but the Pegakitten is just a decoration and not a character… so pretty lame imo.

I feel like I don’t know what I should be working toward first. Just following the quest lines right now, but it had me create the Crestosaurus Pen which doesn’t seem to do anything. Probably should have saved those mats to unlock the Velociraptor which I assume we will need.
I’m not too worried since it is still early in the week, but I think that the path to take is a little more vague than than the past few.

How do you know if awarded a prize from the Greek Life leaderboard (more than 5000 rank). If one is awarded, where would I find it….in inventory or someplace else.

Try closing out the game and restarting it. I just got mine (Herc and Aphrodite are already on-task in Quahog, while Pegakitten is already collecting dust in my inventory), literally a few minutes ago.

Yeah, the leaderboard was stupid – I could only see the Tier 1 list, and not where I actually placed (wouldn’t scroll any further). I tried clicking the other tiers but it only showed me the prize.

Hmm, looks like the eggs don’t always hatch. Only one of three hatched into dinosaurs to click this morning, but all three eggs disappeared.

Sometimes the dinos don’t immediately show up, much like the Gum-er…Jelly Bears in the last one. If you tapped and cleared an egg but don’t see the dinos, close out the game and restart it. They’ll probably be wandering around on your streets, three per egg.

As of this post theevent is buggy as hell for anybody on facebook whenever you go to assign a character a task it automatically freezes up Please you guys either let them know it has been happening since this event loaded up on facebook or find out if they’re working on the problem

Hopefully they have craft/quest/drop rates tweaked properly for this event, I came NOWHERE NEAR finishing things for the Candy event (the event before this one) and ended up leaving a ton of quests on the table that have now disappeared. It was mathematically impossible to finish everything in that event in the 1 week timeframe, unless you spent a boatload of clams, or just never slept.

Task time for the Ambers, particularly the Blue Ambers (4 and 8 hours respectively). Wouldn’t be so bad if the crafting times were swapped. Currently 1 hr craft for orange, 30 min for blue. Drop rates on both could be better, too.

Well mine loaded but anytime I click on any character my game freezes up which prevents me from sending anyone on a task. I would mail them but since they have yet to ever respond to me about any prior mails I have sent them ( I am a premium customer but whatever), not gonna bother, if they don`t fix it I`ll simply save money but was checking in to see if anyone else was having this issue?

Yes I am Facebook, my only access to the game and I will assume they will eventually fix it and although this puts us behind they won`t give us anything for the inconvenience , Well it forces me to take a break from the game, not the worse thing in the world, I am addicted so I break does need to be forced..Ha Ha.

I got Aphrodite and Pegakitten, it just came up in a pop up on my screen. Prior to that I had no indication I was even placed anywhere lol.

The event is broken. If you click on any character at all, the entire game freezes and will eventually crash. Others on the gamefeed live chat reported the same issues.

Are you on Facebook/PC? Seems to be only affecting there so try using a smartphone or tablet if you have access to one.

My Kindle Fire had the Prehistoric Park splash screen and the Support Help info is updated, but version 1.25.0 isn’t available yet from Amazon.
SO glad I can “park” my characters in Tan Lines in between events.
With almost $6 million in coins and maxed out XP, I don’t have to worry about keeping them busy any more.

No reason to keep my characters busy unless they are in an event.
Not sure how many times I stuck them all in a 24 hour job to give myself a breather, only to have the new event start before they were finished.

I was able to update on my Kindle by directly accessing the game page on the App Store.

There’s an exclamation box in the event area, I wonder if it will activate something timed? I have basic characters earning stuff, and will figure out more of this event tomorrow, and look forward to Bunny’s tips! It looks like a fun event so far…

I don’t know if I’m going to make it through this whole event. The processing power needed is making my device sluggish beyond belief and we’re only in Week 1. I don’t remember any event that was this bogged down from the very start.
TinyCo needs to go in, re-optimize the code, and remove all the code that’s causing the lag, because all they seem to be doing is taking the original code and slapping new code is from every new event on top of it without removing the outdated code.
I turned back on the lower graphics in options to see if that will speed things up, but that just causes another problem. TinyCo didn’t design it right or changed something where when you unlock a building/deco and try to place it an error pops up stating the image is already loaded, so I’m forced to have the game reload to place the item again. I’m hoping TinyCo fixed it after I reported the problem.

This is why it is very beneficial to uninstall and reinstall the game fresh with each update (in my opinion) assuming you’re connected via Facebook. Helps get rid of any leftover “stuff”.

I’ve done all that repeatedly and the problem is still there.
This all had to do with how TinyCo is sloppy with their coding. The game has become unstable with all the patches and additions inserted into the main code over the last 2 years. The game was never this problematic until they added the cache system.
I’ve been sending them multiple reports over the last few days explaining when the problems all started and suggested they stop pumping out events, fix the code right, and even scrap v1.x all together to work on v2.0.

Okay, I figured out with the problem with Family Guy loading. There was a conflict with the Fox News app I was trying out. I installed it during the time my device was claimed as incompatible, so I didn’t catch it immediately. It wasn’t until I kept getting a pop-up notices about the Fox News app stopping while loading Family Guy that I caught it. Once I uninstalled it Family Guy loaded just fine. Sorry, TinyCo, though you still got to fix that duplicate image error in low graphics mode.

I also only get the splash screen, no quest line has begun. The only thing more frustrating than no break time between events is when Tiny Co. wants to roll the updates out so quickly that glitches occur. Ridiculous.

Did you go to the app store and update? I had the same issue that solved after I updated and restarted my tablet.

I’m having problems too. I have the new quest and I got to open the eggs and clear the dinos, but I can’t send anyone to do tasks. The moment I click on a character or their icon the game freezes and I get an error message from Consuela saying the page is unresponsive.
