Here’s the Basics of the Phase 3 launch. I’ll update more as I can.
EVENT ENDS THURSDAY, JULY 14th @3PM PACIFIC
First up, the Basics
- Players will need to complete week one main Questline to part 10
- Players will need to have at LEAST District 3 Unlocked and Al’s completed
- Players will only see this on the Mobile App Version (iOS, Google, Amazon, Facebook). NOT Windows Stand Alone
- PLAY THE GAME! Items unlock in stages and as you progress, so if you do not see an item it is most likely you have not progressed far enough in the Main Questline to unlock it. Check details below for more specifics on unlock points
- Don’t have a TON of Tasks open in your Task Menu. If you have too many open, no new ones can arrive. (Keep it under 10). If you do not see new Tasks popping up, clear out some incomplete Tasks already on your List to make room for more

How do I start phase 3 of Peter’s Prehistoric Park?
You will need complete Playing with Dino Might Pt.10 before you can begin the third phase of Peter’s Prehistoric Park.
How do I clear Spikysauruses?
To clear the Spikysauruses, you’ll need to have the Stegosaurus perform the task “Clear the Spikysaurus”.
How do I unlock Saber-Toothed Brian?
Saber-Toothed Brian is available at Al Harrington’s.
To unlock him, you will need:

500 dinosaur claws

12 ivory
-
5 wool
-
7 animal rights pins
Saber-Toothed Brian is available until Thursday, July 14 at 3 PM, PDT. If he is not completely unlocked, he will disappear from the game at that time. If he is unlocked before the event ends, you will be able to continue his quests after the event has ended.
How do I unlock the Stegosaurus?
You can unlock the Stegosaurus after repairing the Stegosaurus egg in Save the ‘Saurs Pt.1.
To unlock them, you will need:

280 dinosaur claws

6 spare brains

4 replacement spikes
The Stegosaurus is available until Thursday, July 14 at 3 PM, PDT. If he is not completely unlocked, they’ll disappear from the game at that time. If he is unlocked before the event ends, you will be able to continue the quests after the event has ended.
How do I get Ace Ventura?
Ace Ventura is available in the shop for 240 clams. He will be available for purchase until Thursday, July 14 at 3 PM, PDT.
How do I create Stegosaurus DNA?
You will need 1 green amber to create Stegosaurus DNA at the Amber Processing Plant. Each batch of Stegosaurus DNA will take 1 hour and 30 minutes to craft.
Green Amber drops from Stegosaurus Training.
What is the Stegosaurus Training Pen?
In the Stegosaurus Training Pen, you can train the Stegosaurus to increase their level. To train them, you will need use 3 servings of Stegosaurus food. Tap on the trainee to start the training. Each session will take 4 hours.
Save the ‘Saurs Pt.10 won’t complete!
No worries. This is the end of phase 3. Once phase 4 is out, you’ll be able to complete it and move onto the next phase

I believe I figured out why the Stegosaurus isn’t leveling up, or at least the solution that worked for me… I noticed that there was one optional item I hadn’t “earned” that required green DNA because it was, well, optional. As soon as I chose to just refine enough green Amber for it, regardless of its other requirements, Stegosaurus dropped XP instead of more green Amber. I hope this is a permanent solution.

I think I am going to give up on this now. Been training my stegasaurus constantly for four days and no XP at all. I’ve spent clams trying to sped things up but just a waste of time and money! I’ve contacted TinyCo twice to complain and ask for help but they are ignoring me. I’m stuck on stegasaurus level 2 which I got to before the update and need level 4 to move to the final weeks missions. No chance I’ll get everything done in four days even if my stegasaurus magically starts levelling up. Very annoyed loyal player thinking of quitting now 😢

I hear you and I get you. Since TC rarely ever makes up for bugs like this, I’m just going to step away until the next high appeal event happens, like Disney/Star Trek/Star Wars level.

My stegosaurus won’t gain XP at all. It doesn’t matter how many times I send him to train. Tinyco’s response was basically he either drops green ambers or XP, not both. Well you have to have XP to advance. If you’re not going to give it at all, then why make it a requirement to advance. I’ve been wasting days doing nothing because he won’t level up so I can move forward and Tinyco isn’t helping at all.

Same here. This is ridiculous. I submitted a ticket to TinyCo. Hopefully they will provide a useful response. I have wasted two trying to level up the Stegasaurus so I can start week 4.

Same here. Constantly been trying to train it for the past three days and no xp to level up at all 😢 Can’t move on to the fourth week until i get to level 4 and I’m thinking of just giving up now! No response from help and support …

I’ve been at this for 3 days. I’ve wasted a ton of clams trying to accelerate it and all I have to show is a vast excess of green Amber.
This level up system was a moronic addition in the first place but if you’re going to make a level up mandatory for the main quest line the drop rate can’t be pretty much zero.

Me too. I’ve tried at least 10 times in a row with no XP and my stegosaurus is still at level 2. I’ve lost 3 days and some clams trying to push past this. It’s things like this that make me regret giving TinyCo so much money and seriously consider stopping that cash flow.

Thanks for posting the questlines. Very impt for us to know what is coming and prepare for it. I stocked up on ambers as i know I need it for the tiki car.

Drop rate on Spare Brain and Replacement spikes is insanely low ! Which is horrible considering only one character can get them and it’s 8+ hours for a ‘chance’….

This event has an insane number of buildings in it. We don’t even have week 4 yet and I’m pretty sure I could nuke my town and rebuild it completely as just a large dino park and it wouldn’t look half empty like Krusty Land in TSTO.

I’m on part 9 and my stegosaurus isn’t leveling. Stuck halfway between 3 and 4. I can’t move forward until he hits 4…. serious problem.

This has been a frustrating event for me. Since no buildings or side characters drop claws, I’m still trying to unlock Dino trainer Peter and can’t progress. Taking those event currency drops away was a huge mistake and a big disservice to players… I buy clams quite often but have reduced how many recently as I feel it shouldn’t be a necessity, and it’s become one. I have no issue supporting the game I enjoy with some cash but I shouldn’t need to spend $100 multiple times a month Just to enjoy playing.., not really complaining just voicing some frustration. I like this event idea but just cannot build currency.

Been 4 days since any pins dropped for SB Brian (32 tries). Still need 5. Highly unlikely will get him before the final phase starts. So much for the TC claim the longer an item goes without dropping the greater the chances increase.

Has anyone else had problems getting spare brains? I have now cleared skullosaurus 7 times with no drops.

Still getting crash on load screen. Emailed tinyco weeks ago, then a week ago, then now. Uninstalled, reinstalled. The game works when I’m not logged in, I can start a new game OK, when I log in as me using my email address it crashes on load. Using android.
I used to be a semi premium player, now I’m on tinyco time out indefinitely. It makes me sad.

I have my Stegosaurus unlocked and have tried training him several times, sometimes a few in a row, yet I can’t get ANY XP from any of my training events, Is anyone else aware of this, I just noticed that I haven’t moved off level 1 at all when I was trying to do a task that requires the next level!

I have yet to get any xp either and it will be a problem. Part 9 of the main quest is to get your stegosaurus to level 4. I’m on part 9 and unless tinyco makes a change I’ll spend the rest of the event here. Poor quest line design.

I didn’t seem to get any, then I think about the 4th or 5th training session he jumped right up to level 4, I got 2 clams, now i need get him to level 7 for another clam.
