Here’s the Basics of the Phase 3 launch. I’ll update more as I can.
EVENT ENDS THURSDAY, JULY 14th @3PM PACIFIC
First up, the Basics
- Players will need to complete week one main Questline to part 10
- Players will need to have at LEAST District 3 Unlocked and Al’s completed
- Players will only see this on the Mobile App Version (iOS, Google, Amazon, Facebook). NOT Windows Stand Alone
- PLAY THE GAME! Items unlock in stages and as you progress, so if you do not see an item it is most likely you have not progressed far enough in the Main Questline to unlock it. Check details below for more specifics on unlock points
- Don’t have a TON of Tasks open in your Task Menu. If you have too many open, no new ones can arrive. (Keep it under 10). If you do not see new Tasks popping up, clear out some incomplete Tasks already on your List to make room for more

How do I start phase 3 of Peter’s Prehistoric Park?
You will need complete Playing with Dino Might Pt.10 before you can begin the third phase of Peter’s Prehistoric Park.
How do I clear Spikysauruses?
To clear the Spikysauruses, you’ll need to have the Stegosaurus perform the task “Clear the Spikysaurus”.
How do I unlock Saber-Toothed Brian?
Saber-Toothed Brian is available at Al Harrington’s.
To unlock him, you will need:

12 ivory

5 wool

7 animal rights pins
Saber-Toothed Brian is available until Thursday, July 14 at 3 PM, PDT. If he is not completely unlocked, he will disappear from the game at that time. If he is unlocked before the event ends, you will be able to continue his quests after the event has ended.
How do I unlock the Stegosaurus?
You can unlock the Stegosaurus after repairing the Stegosaurus egg in Save the ‘Saurs Pt.1.
To unlock them, you will need:

6 spare brains

4 replacement spikes
The Stegosaurus is available until Thursday, July 14 at 3 PM, PDT. If he is not completely unlocked, they’ll disappear from the game at that time. If he is unlocked before the event ends, you will be able to continue the quests after the event has ended.
How do I get Ace Ventura?
Ace Ventura is available in the shop for 240 clams. He will be available for purchase until Thursday, July 14 at 3 PM, PDT.
How do I create Stegosaurus DNA?
You will need 1 green amber to create Stegosaurus DNA at the Amber Processing Plant. Each batch of Stegosaurus DNA will take 1 hour and 30 minutes to craft.
Green Amber drops from Stegosaurus Training.
What is the Stegosaurus Training Pen?
In the Stegosaurus Training Pen, you can train the Stegosaurus to increase their level. To train them, you will need use 3 servings of Stegosaurus food. Tap on the trainee to start the training. Each session will take 4 hours.
Save the ‘Saurs Pt.10 won’t complete!
No worries. This is the end of phase 3. Once phase 4 is out, you’ll be able to complete it and move onto the next phase

I did ok with getting the Stegosaurus but drops for Saber Toothed Brian are really slow. Just see what happens, at least I’m able to get through the Questline. Hope you get moving soon.

Thanks. I’m right at part 6 and nearly finished training raptor – and had green amber brewing while training steggy – so this really helps – won’t clear those tasks until raptor is done – that’ll save a few hours. Glad you’re at least one step ahead to help out. I really want to reach part 9/10 early so I have best shot of getting the last dinosaur. Do we think it’ll be a T-Rex? I’m hoping for another big dinosaur – love them roaming the land.

I saw the exclamation but i didn’t click it, since i was expecting the stegosaurus to be involved.

Holy &$%#. I want to warn everyone that still has to start phase 3: the challenge releases together with part 1 of the phase 3 and Peter triggers it (making matters worse tbh). For people just starting phase 3, like I did just now, this challenge is simply impossible.
To keep it short, the challenge tasks require 36 out of the available 48 hours of non-stop Stegosaurus tasks. New phase 3 players still need to unlock it as well. For the item drops you need at least a day of dino clearing, so with the remaining 12 hours… yeah, forget that.
I mailed TinyCo about it but I doubt they’ll change anything; guess we had to have been further into phase 3. I also don’t really get why the challenges have been shortened to two days, three days was perfect tbh.

The challenge is so bogus… I just started phase 3, haven’t even started collecting items to unlock the Steg and then the Week 3 challenge drops with 48 hours to go. I won’t even be able to unlock the Steg, let alone start training it.

Same-ish here – the challenge shouldn’t have triggered if you didn’t have stegosaurus unlocked.

100% agreed to that should of tripped the 48 hour timer week 3 challenge at least 24 hrs into you starting phase 3 whenever you get to it that’s completely out of the realm of possibility of completing it when the challenge is triggered right when you start the week ….

I’ve decided to throw a fair chunk of Clams at the challenge to get it done regardless: in a sense TC was ‘lucky’ I got the Stegosaurus drops rather swiftly, so I got him unlocked with a little more than a day to spare. The clearing could start straight away, but not the training as I didn’t have the training pen yet, obviously. Expecting a >slight< decrease in speed:clam ratio for the Stegosaurus training it ended up being 10min:Clam(!) for 24 Clams per 4hr session; if I had known that I had sped up some tasks to get enough Claws for the Training Pen at the regular Clam rate. In the end I had to spend about 40 Clams just now to speed up nearly two training sessions; decided to go with it as in total I was about 1/3 in.
About 60 Clams went into unlocking the dino and completing the training in time; double-edged, as it does help for the event too, but I feel a bit bummed out new phase 3 players got the challenge straight away. I had the Clams, still have enough for a Clam building if one appears in the next event, and the Tom Tucker and Major West Clam gains are incoming too as I just unlocked Downtown; however, it does feel like TC baited players into spending Clams on this challenge; a bit cheap.

Bit of info for anyone with claws etc in short supply and thinking which buildings to research and build for wool and animal rights pins. If you can only afford one of each the cheapest in terms of claws and green Amber are Wool – T-Rex tunnel (6 hrs) and Pins – Dino Garage (4hrs). The other buildings although more expensive have the same times for drops as the cheaper ones. Just incase anyone thought the expensive buildings would have shorter drop times. Hope this helps a little, of course for those with loads resources you can build the other buildings too.

Still working on Peter costume and the Brontosaurus – sent the raptor to train over and over, took for ever to get all the leashs. Got the last ones, but spent most of my claws in the meanwhile. Should have enough by tonight, though. Now I am stuck on getting the leaves for the dinosaur, they just won’t drop. My raptor seems rather toothless…

Here’s a tip… if you don’t get leaves (or leashes) just close game immediately and restart. When you open it back up the checkmark should be back and you can try again. This only works on the dino training pen actions. It helped speed things up for me a lot! Doesn’t work on normal character drops. Should also mention I only tried on iOS. Not sure if works the same on fb or other devices. Good luck!

I cant seem to get any prehistoric leaves to unlock the bonosaurus. I have sent the raptor on the tail pulling task 5 times and no luck. Is that normal? This game never ceases to be frustrating

I got most of mine from Paleo Joe, but I didn’t get any from clearing Skullosaurus untill my fifth attempt which gave me the last 2 I needed, drop rates can be very annoying at times as it’s all down to luck really, but stick at it and they will drop eventually.

Very pleased with my present was a big help in getting me to week three. Thanks Tinyco. I have found that storing my raptor seems to trigger the other dinosaurs to spawn. might just be coincidence though.

Just trains by himself, 4 hours, rewards 2 or 6 green amber and 15 stego xp or 11 dino claws. Get food from Cavewoman Lois, Raptor, or Brontosaurus; takes 2 hours each.

The stegosaurus trains on his own.
You get stegosaurus food from tasks for Cavewoman Lois, Raptor and Brontosaurus.

No one is required to train him. Training takes 4 hours and requires 3 lettuce which Cave Woman Lois, Bronto and Raptor can get with 2 hour task.

Can somebody please tell me what this “reward” or “award” thing is that I have seen other players refer to in the past 24 hours? They are saying something about needing to have the Brontosaurus unlocked to collect it? I already unlocked the Brontosaurus earlier, so am not sure what they are referring to?

It was a pop up that gave you several stone axes or what ever they are and some other stuff. It sucks. I hadn’t unlocked the bronto so I got nothing. Plus it caused me to be locked out of the game with a loading error for several hours. Thanks for nothing Tinyco.

It would seem that tinyco has given a package of like 260 claws, and some other items to certain people to help them with the game. I’m not sure what all is included, since I am not one of the chosen ones, and have not received any items. I have, of course, used plenty of clams to try to keep from falling too far behind (which hasn’t worked). On the plus side, I can now focus on the main quest line, and forget the weekly challenges, since week 3 is impossible. I haven’t been able to get a single spike to drop for the stegosaurus, and now have less than 23 hours left to complete the weekly. Since it will take a solid 24 hours to train the stegosaurus 6 times (6×4 hours=24 hours) there is no way possible to collect 4 spikes and train 6 times. I just hope I can hatch the egg in time to complete the main quest, so maybe I can hatch the 4th egg (if there is one) before the end of the event.

I was a “chosen one”, but I didn’t get to keep it since I hadn’t unlocked my Brontosaurus then and 8 xp for it was included (plus the 260 claws and 2 stone axes). Had to restart my game 4 times before that notification would go away and Consuela denying me popping up.

Bunny or whomever, I have just tried 4 attempts with the raptor trying to defeat the Skullasaurus to get the brains, and I have not gotten any. I cannot move on the main questline until I can unlock Stegosaurus and that is the only way to get the brains. Do I need to use clams on that? I have contacted game support and no answer, I have tried asking people in my group and no one will answer. I am thinking about going ahead and using clams, even though I hate using clams for unlocking. Mystery boxes or unlocking a premium character, I am okay with, but unlocking a freemium when I know I am able to get it

I just got drops of 3 brains twice in a row today – so keep at it or if you want get going right away you need use some clams as you said.

I got 3 brains on my 1st skullasaurus clear but have since cleared 5 more and gotten none, at this point I wish I would have paid the gems but won’t do it now seeing as how I could have gotten him almost 2 days ago had I done it then so now that I’ve waited I’m just gonna keep waiting till it finally happens but the drop is more rare than uncommon.

You don;t have to use clams. They will drop eventually, and they seem to drop 2 at a time. It did not happen for me for several tries, then it seemed like the next three drops finished it up! It was the replacement scales that took me forever!

Keep trying, they will drop eventually, plus you get 3 Spar Brains drop from each successful drop so at least you don’t have to clear a successful 6, it’s the same with the Spare Spikes as they drop 2 each time.

Everything for me is locked until I get the Peter skin, which means when I do it’s gonna be a flood of things happening all at once as I scrabble to catch up. . . It’s a bit weird to have cave women Lois pretty much ready before the Peter skin!! Shocking is what it is frankly.
I’ve pretty much cleared all the building on the second week. The boosted TinyCo- ( “we made a mistake” ) set of free items helped bridge the ridiculous gap. Buts kinda royally screwed me over considering how much time it takes to actually get tallons/claws as well as the tasks and challenges. (They do it every time, why have they not learned by now that it’s a regular event occurrence?)

Anybody else get a pop-up saying that Peter stopped by with supplies to help you along? Mine gave me 200 something bones, enough to finally get Dino Tamer Peter, some hammers and some bronto XP. Only problem is, I don’t have the bronto yet, so I got a Consuela error about trying to add XP to a locked character! Tried it twice and it crashed, now the message is gone. Even when TinyCo tries to help they screw it up!

got it yesterday too but it crashed twice, third time i clicked off to the side and did my game stuff, then reloaded but it didn’t come back. Got an app update thought it would work but still hasn’t came back. Really could have used the claws to finally get bronto

Is the brontosaurus training pen no longer available? I finally hatched mine only to find (or not find) I couldn’t get the brontosaurus training pen from the store. I’m on pt 2 of Playing with Dino Might; Pt1 of Rides of their Lives; and Pt5 of Triassic Yard.

On my iPhone around 4pm pacific time, a screen popped up called, Dino-tactic Rewards. “It said Peter found a cool stash of dino stuff…”. Apparently we all will get 260 claws, 2 of the stone axe looking things, and 8 brontosaurus XP for free.
Hooray…except in typical Tiny Co fashion there’s a glitch. I couldn’t collect the rewards because Consuela popped up and said something like, “Error trying to collect XP on locked item”.
Of course I was trying to collect XP on a locked item. The brontosaurus is locked because I don’t have enough red amber and … claws.
Tiny Co must have realized that players need some assistance collecting claws, because they are giving us 260, but, hello??? I need claws to unlock the brontosaurus, but I can’t collect the free claws that I need to unlock the bronto, because I don’t already have the bronto.
It’s like my mom this past Christmas who gave my wife and I gift certificates for a movie theater chain whose closest location is over 1000 miles away. When I called her and told her about it, she told me I was ungrateful.

I didn’t get the 250 bonus claws and other rewards because I don’t have the bronto unlocked. I got an error message. Did anyone else have this problem? I am emailing TinyCo after this post.

Just writing in to report that tiny Co gifted me 260 Dino claws, 2 hammers for cave woman Lois costume and a couple other items needed for Dino event…. Said Peter found a bunch of items while I was away…. Finally gave me enough claws to get Dino Peter costume so I could move on in the quest line and get to brontosaurus training as well because I wasn’t able to get far enough for that without getting past that one point in the quest line. Helpful but feels like it’s Going to be a bit too little too late for me to catch up still.. Will see how it plays out!

This event is a lot of fun. I think it goes smoothly with the main quest lines each week. Why can the brontosaurus check in tan lines but the raptor can’t?

Did we get new land last week?
Last Thursday I have reached 10 million coins and later I noticed a whole row of land to unlock on the top of the map. I have unlocked every single piece of land that was to unlock couple months ago.
On the top of the map I have more than 200 “Common Office” buildings just to make coins but I think that there was a glitch that took 3 rows of my buildings with land after I reached 10 million coins but I’m not sure.
Did anyone get new land last week?

Are any freemium players anywhere near to being able to keep up with this event? I have spent a few clams speeding things up, finishing things etc (only about 100 in total; never buy pure premium items). Yet I still need 200 Dino claws and a few other items for Lois and still need more claws after that to get the blueprint needed for part 7 of the phase two storyline. Possibly other things too. And that’s with several clams spent and ignoring all unnecessary blueprints.

nope. i am now on part 8 to finish the main quest line, then i realized i would need to unlock Lois costume, so that means I need another 2 or 3 more days, so I am almost a week behind. crap.
that said, I hope I can still catch up as I have a hunch week 4 would be the release of T-Rex as the final dinosaur.

I think you need to play very diligently from the beginning on this one because it takes so long to collect enough claws. I haven’t been diligent at all so I just started phase 2 yesterday or the day before. I think I would rather have Lois than Peter, but don’t feel any must-have for this event so I’m okay with being a slowpoke and not getting very far. Not really a problem with the game itself. Having fun with the stone paths although they look hard to walk on… If we keep the hatched dinosaurs, they will be fun additions. The Crestosaurus pen is also a keeper….

Nope… I finished phase 2 this morning and now I can unlock the Steg. Of course the Week 3 challenge dropped an hour later, so I have no chance of getting that (need brains and spikes(?) to unlock the Steg)

I’m on Part 7 of Playing with Dino Might, the week 2 main questline. First up in the questline I have to get two blueprints that cost 200 dino claws. Then I have to get Cavewoman Lois to move on and I’ll be starting at zero dino claws again. I feel behind and hope I can catch up. I already spend clams here and there to fast forward things if I’m headed to bed.
I messaged TinyCo to tell them that getting enough dino claws is difficult and in other events we had characters AND buildings drop event currency. Here’s hoping that they listen so I can finish the whole darn thing.

Celebrating Canada Day here, even though it’s raining on and off. Had to buy Ace Ventura because it’s Jim Carrey who is funny, awesome and Canadian.
Trying to drop the last group of 5 raptor leases for Peter are dragging me down. I finally have enough claws for him.
Leaves don’t want to drop for hatching my Brontosaurus egg either.

I am contemplating buying Ace for the same reasons. 🙂 But I don’t have nearly enough clams, so would have to buy at least a box of them… Oh! The Watch Videos Clam is showing: I may be two clams closer! 😉

Getting the brains and spikes will not be easy. They are rare. My first time attacking them resulted in nothing. Now there are no more herpes or skulls roaming to attack again. Just sent them to 5 hour or so training. Only way to get the green amber is from training the new one. But good luck not having to pay to get him. I may just sit the rest of this one out. I may just be burned out.

You get 3 Spar Brains from each skullosaurus successful drop, and 2 Spare Spikes from each herpasaur successful drop, so at least you don’t need to clear too much of a ridiculous amount of them.

I have a new version of the game, 1.25.5, showing in the Apple App Store. No hints as to what it might fix, but hopefully it will help with some of the recent issues, that fortunately have not affected me, so far. 🙂

I’ve already messaged TinyCo but is any one having the Brontosaurus locking in training?
I can’t complete week 2 unless the Brontosaurus can clear a Herpesaur, but the training is checked complete but I can’t release the characters.

Have you tried basic troubleshooting such as force closing game & clearing cache?

the problem is, there are not enough dinosaur claws, to be earned, to match what is necessary to play, maybe if Tiny Co. gifted 200 dinosaur claws to each player, then we could catch up, otherwise it just seems like a waste of time playing this one.

Is there anyway I can opt out of the prehistoric park event? I lost my game and had to start again so I’m not far enough along yet to really do anything for this event. There are just so many eggs, I can’t click anything! Thanks in advance!

Sorry but there isn’t any way to opt out of any event, unless you stop playing untill the event ends and then log back in when it’s over.

You should be able to click directly on the ticks on the buildings, you may find it easier to zoom in. You just have to ignore the event quests if you don’t want to do them unfortunately.

HELP! i had ~226 clams earlier today, went to my other Quahog to collect for the day, came back to my town, dealt with people who were done tasks/cleared dino eggs, all while dealing with constant game crashes (will this ever get fixed!?) and now when i go into my game it shows that i only have 89 clams!! where did they go? i did not tap to spend clams on anything, i havent rushed any buildings, resources, or tasks – what gives!?
i was banking them for months in order to save up for consuela :*(

I am hopelessly behind. Only on Playing With Dino Might part 3. I JUST got Dino Trainer Peter this morning, and haven’t unlocked the Bronto yet. Need way more teeth.
Which reminds me, I got the pop up with Peter found stuff, but then I got a Consuela error because I didn’t have the Bronto unlocked yet (because I was hoarding teeth for Peter) and I don’t think it gave me any of the stuff. I could really use those darn teeth. Anyone else have that happen?

I`m stuck on Part 8 of the main quest line because of a glitch, every time I click on one of the 2 dinosaurs I crash so can`t do Have Raptor tear up furniture. I hope they fix this soon, I`m on Facebook , I assume it`s not just me. I loaded everything, bought Ace Ventura cause well it`s Ace Ventura only for me to shortly realize this glitch which quickly wiped the smile off of my face. I would male them but since they never respond I have no idea if I`m actually mailing them or just wasting my time. I just hope they fix it soon so I can move along, it`s not like we can use clams to bypass the task requiring dinosaurs. Sorry if this sounds like venting, I not blaming Addicts by any means but they do read these sometimes so I thought I would share my grief.

7 days, a million emails and even week 3s new update and still NO ACCESS TO MY GAME?!?

Have you tried uninstall/reinstall, assuming you’re connected to Facebook?

Have you tried installing the game on BlueStacks (on PC/Mac)? It would rule out device issues

I only just started Phase 2 (the Lois skin just became an option for me this morning). It has taken me this long to unlock the Peter skin 😦
