The Hauntening: Case 3 – Frankenstein

Hey there! Let’s do the mash, the monster mash!!!

With Case 3 underway I just wanted to give a little update regarding what that jolly green giant wandering our hotels is up to now. Yes, Frankenstein is still with us and now has a new drop which will help us unlock Egon Spengler.

The arrival of a new Boss would usually send a shiver down my spine but I found Frankenstein to be nowhere near as tough as he looks. Defeating him to 3X and 4X was easily achievable in Case 2 and with no increase in the materials needed to battle him in Case 3, we should all sleep easy knowing this is a battle we can win.

Let’s take a look at Case 3  and see exactly what Frankenstein will be dropping over the last few days of the event. Please note the PKE Meters will not drop until you’ve begun the Almost Out of The Woods Questline and triggered Egon Spengler in your game.

HOW DO I START SEEING FRANKENSTEIN IN MY GAME? 

If you don’t already have Frankenstein in your game from Case 2, he should automatically appear for Case 3.

At the point he appears you will also trigger the ability to collect the gasoline needed to defeat Frankenstein as he wanders your hotel.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BATTLE FRANKENSTEIN?

Frankenstein is similar to other bosses we have seen in past events in that he’s the big baddie who keeps on giving, but how do we get him to drop his bolts? Well we need to attack him with gasoline. Sounds nasty doesn’t it, but hey it’s effective so let’s get on with it.

You can get gasoline from the following sources:

Gasoline (Common): Lois Freshen Up OR Mad Scientist Hartman Puff Out His Chest OR Franken-Bonnie Fix Her Hair OR Billy the Puppet Set A Trap OR The Playground OR Frankenstein’s Lab (Concierge)

The amounts you will need to defeat Frankenstein through the levels are as follows:

So in order to fully defeat Frankenstein within 24 hours you will need 11 Gasoline.

WHAT REWARDS DO I GET IN CASE 3?

The rewards you get are two-fold, Lightning Bolts for trading at the Front Desk/Cloakroom and PKE Meters which are needed to unlock the Egon Spengler.

What you will get at each level is as follows:

You will need 48 PKE Meter to help unlock Egon Spengler.

HOW QUICKLY WILL FRANKENSTEIN REVIVE ONCE TIMED OUT OR DEFEATED? 

There is no information as to how long it takes for Frankenstein’s revival, however in my game after fully defeating him at Level 4X he returned around 8 hours later. I stress this is just results from my game.
