Oh Rupert, Rupert the bear, everyone sing his name. Oops wrong cartoon, wrong bear, but hey they’ve got the same name so let’s just go with it. Yes, the love of Stewie’s life has finally come to Quahog in his cute, original fluffy teddy bear form. So welcome to Quahog Rupert.
Let’s take a look at what Rupert can do in our silly lil games.
Rupert is a new Character added during the fourth Phase of Quahog’s Not So Silent Night. As with (almost) all Characters in TQFS in order to unlock her you’ll have to collect lots of STUFF.
For RUPERT, the STUFF you have to earn for her firstly revolves around placing his Cloud Car into your game, this costs 250 Stocking Stuffers from the store.
When you place the Cloud Car, you will see RUPERT outside. Tapping on his Lock Icon will show you the Materials you need to collect to bring him into the game.

8 Rainbow Stuffing (Uncommon): Get from Care Package OR Find Christmas Smack a Shrew
15 Magical Triangles (Rare): Cure Bonnie, Bruce or Lois of the Holiday Blues
8 Fluffy Clouds (Rare): Get from Cube Craft Nativity Scene
He does come with a Questline, Handle With Care Bear, more on that in another post.
Rupert does come with a complete set of Tasks! Tasks that will help you earn Stocking Stuffers & 
Dream Points, and more importantly he has a Common drop for Beach Balls.

Still need 2 clouds. I placed the building to get clouds on Thursday the 22nd. That seems like a long time for essentially 4 drops, since you get 2 clouds at a time. Sounds like I am doing better than some people since I had no issue with the red triangles. Very frustrating. I am actually considering not playing anymore. I don’t mind it being difficult, but sometimes the drop rates are ridiculous. Big thanks to The Addicts for keeping me sane (mostly) during some of these events.

Placed Rupert almost as soon as week 4 started, been over 1 week now and only have 4/8 clouds and 13/15 triangles. I collect every 3-4 hours. No clouds for 3 days now. Reported to TinyCo and no response, which makes me unwilling to spend any clams to get him.

Sent to tiny co and no response. Now 9 days and only 1 red triangle and still ZERO damn clouds. This is pathetic. It’s a slap in the face to people who play this game to get treated this way. TinyCo has taken all the fun out of this game

I sttill need 6 triangles to go, too. The three first weeks of the event were great, and I really enjoyed. But the 4th week was a disaster. I’ve been playing the game for 8 months now and have never been so frustrated. The drops are ridiculous and everything you need is “rare”. Afraid of not reaching 5th week in time to get new carachters and Black Jesus is still only in a far away dream for me… Hope things change soon. I will probably have to use some clams to finish Rupert… 😦

Yes, I’m sure many know the historical significance of the pink triangle, however it’s not being used in that way in the game, instead it is being used in its more modern form as an emblem.

I need 2 clouds (have been getting 2 every few days) and 8 triangles getting about one every other day or so. I’m not sure I’ll get Robert before the event ends.

It’s effing ridiculous. All was good until this phase. I play constantly AND have made a few premium purchases to boot, and I won’t be able to start/move on for the first time in the Christmas game.

I’m another who thinks the drops in this week/event have been a joke. I’ve been playing full time but I’m still 4 triangles off Rupert and a long way off black Jesus.
Having the triangles behind 3 levels of probability makes them extremely, extremely rare. They are a rare drop but to get to them you have to first get care packages and then get the Bears (seems rare).
Having the beach balls only dropped by a player who spends ages locked is ridiculous too.
This is a Christmas event but it’s absolutely no fun. Just frustrating. I don’t think TinyCo understand probability and I don’t think they care about this as a game and just want to make money.
Not showing respect for loyal players is really bad.

I have HAAATED this week. First ones were great. Messaged tinyco and asked if they could change the drop likelihood of the lesser presents since I have over 100 of them all. I missed the challenge too since all I get are ghost presents and more candy canes. As a premium player I refused to spend any clams. I finally gave up and spent 25 clams on the last triangle for Rupert since Bonnie is USELESS. Cant remember when I was ever tired of playing this game. Hope the next content changes that……………..

I need two more triangles. To all the complainings: I understand the rates, yeah, sometimes the drop is not what we await but it makes the game harder and more interesting. Only real addicts get through this. B-)

How does it make it more “interesting” when you literally can’t make progress for a week? I had to spent 100 clams just to complete Pixel Lois, after wasting an extra 5 days trying to get her. I doubt I’ll even see Week 5.

I think Alexandre is referring to the game being harder in general making it interesting, not when there’s a drop gridlock. I prefer FGQFS to Tapped Out as it’s more challenging. But like many of you I’ve not enjoyed this event despite fact I should have complete it as I should get Onesie Mayor West today if drops are kind.

I like a challenge, but in this case I just feel like my hands are completely tied. I have played the game rigorously, yet I’m unlikely to even see Week 5 through no fault of my own. I really enjoyed the Oz event, as I managed to get all the characters and things I wanted. While this one has so much awesome stuff I won’t even see because of one roadblock after another. It just feels downright unfair, and sucks all the fun out of it (and is the opposite of interesting for me).
Sorry to be such a downer recently – this event has really ruined the game for me. Hopefully the next event will be better, otherwise I’ll have to put it away for good.

I completely understand, I’ve managed keep up but it’s not been fun, I feel I’m just going through the motions whilst waiting for the end. They will need pull something good out of the bag to encourage a lot of players to stick with the game after this. I hope they can as Oz showed what can be done when things go right.

Funnily enough, I just collected my second round of packages and managed to get 5 (out of 6 drops) and each package contained 1 or 2 bears (which is incredible). So for the first time I cleared bonnie/lois/bruce twice each and got the final 5 triangles for Rupert. I don’t know if TinyCo have tweaked things or if I’m lucky for a change! It looks like I will be onto Phase 5 later today – I don’t expect to get very far, but at least it’s some good news for me 🙂

Add me to the list of players who play constantly and won’t unlock Rupert in time for the new phase tonight. I am getting an okay number of Care Bears (could always get more!) but then when I cure someone of their blues, I get rainbows and not triangles. With the baby giving rainbows, I haven’t needed rainbows for days yet I keep getting them instead of triangles. I am hopeful to get what I need by Thursday so I can have the six days up to January 4 to get the items in the final phase. I always envisioned Black Jesus as taking the whole two weeks because of Bonnie’s inconsistency and once I get Rupert I will have a flow of beach balls to get that shored up (I hope). Five weeks is too long for events; I don’t ever want to squash another Sam after this event!

Still need six triangles to unluck Rupert! I have bought two 275 clam packs through this event. First time I spent money on the game in over a year and still haven’t unlocked Rupert or Black Jesus. The drop rates on Care Packages is bad enough, but then the drop rates on care bears is WORSE! And I wish it would stop giving me lesser gifts!! I have hundreds of wizards and an excess of Sam killers and Pac-carollers killers. I don’t need any more and I am sick of opening 1 care package to 10+ others every 4 hours. Tedious, grindy and irritating.
Terrible event phase, on what up til now was a great event.

I haven’t had any drops of triangles or clouds in 3 days and I play constantly. This phase is horrible can’t move on because I need to unlock Rupert to finish. At the pace care bears and care packages drop I’ll be able to finish this event by next Christmas. Judging by the posts this seems to be a very very common problem.

Is it just me or is the pepperbear to free lois extra extra rare. it has been at least 4-5 days of round the clock playing and I have yet to open a gift with the pepperbear I have better odds of getting the white present to open 3 blue gifts which I don’t need. I am still working on Rupert.

Last two ‘cycles’ I haven’t gotten a beach ball from Bonnie either. Those cycles are closer to about 24 hours rather than 4 hours too with her clouded all the time. Sorry, this event is one big WTD!!

20 tries at the nativity scene and still need 4 more clouds for Rupert. Disappointed that it is taking so long. Glad his task for the main questline is level one.
