Hey there Dragon Slayers!!!
Look out there’s a dragon winging its way into Quahog, and it’s not any old dragon but the coveted Golden Dragon, a brand new character that will have you laughing as you watch it tie itself in knots.
Golden Dragon is available to unlock as part of Phase 3 of the Kung Pow Quahog Event. You’ll find the full profile HERE.
At the time of writing this Golden Dragon has a 24hr task that can drop a revive potion, the only freemium character to do so, so you will probably delay his Questline until the end of the event, but here’s a glimpse of what’s to come once you decide to train your dragon.

I am 56/75 red envelopes. And too scared to move onto phase 4 because I don’t want to loose my ability to get the dragon. Do you know if the dragon will disappear if I continue onto phase 4??

TinyCo should offer a ladder deco to put next to it for character to walk over it. Also, Oz hot air balloons and drones that can carry 300 lbs 400 ft over the wall. Plus tourist visas to Disney to overstay.
They have excellent brains and the best words at TinyCo. They will be increasing our chocolate ration from 6 ounces to 4 ounces.

I’m fairly new to the game, but won’t there be another chapter? I also unlocked the dragon and have stopped offering to the other one. Is that the best strategy. I assume if the tickets and chopsticks would be useful next chapter then Peter and Co would still give me gold and cookies. I think I’m in good shape but who knows. Still don’t have Stewie because of horrible drop rates. All in all having fun and killing time.

I’m pleased to report I Got Lucky tonight. With a dragon, I mean. I got a potion my first try on the 24-HR task, which I used. I’m up to 191 rice balls carried over for week 5 — and 3100 useless chopsticks. Please, TinyCo, let us buy some old characters with chopsticks — like Commander William Riker. Or let us buy even 1 clam for 1,000 chopsticks. No more decos or costumes. At least let us buy real buildings, if not actual characters. I have thousands of useless decos sitting in inventor. And way too many useless costumes. And now way too many Stewie Bucks. We need more full characters — and smaller size buildings!

I assume you’re a premium player? Rice balls are very hard to come by for me… I have a grand total of 10 and I have skipped the last building of each phase as they’re too expensive. I’m trying to save up for the Surging Tsunami, but it will take me a full day to get another 16 balls (26 in total)

No, I’m actually a freemium player, but I play a lot and had a bunch of clams saved up, so I splurged on the building that pays out fight contracts on the first day.

I had over 200 rice balls, so I was able to snap up all of the week 4 buildings last night in 5 minutes. I’ve also been very lucky with the Dragon — 2 for 2 on getting free Potion — even though it is marked as a rare drop that 24-hr task. I’m not complaining. This has been a good event for me. But I still prefer Star Trek!

I haven’t spent any chopsticks yet and I now have 1900 while still in week 3. Only thing I might want so far that’s available to me are the terracotta soldiers at 150.

I’ve got 4,200 useless chopsticks left and nothing to spend them on except for more garbage decos to throw on the trash heap. I’m holding out hope that TibyCo tosses us a last-minute surprise of an actual playable character or at least a real building.

I think with what 4 new characters to unlock freemium, 3 returning characters to unlock, again freemium, TinyCo has done good by players, I also think a coup,e of the costumes are cracking looking. The game has always had a lot of decorations, buildings and costumes. I don’t see that changing anytime soon. Chopsticks really are just a side currency, the fact we’ve all got so much without working for them tells you they that. If there’s nothing to buy just let them, that’s what I did in the Christmas event.

Well, I finished the week 4 main quest — for nothing but bragging rights — which are useless. And I’ve got 100 left over rice balls and 4500 chopsticks to eat them with. I’m hoping TinyCo pulls out a surprise character you can purchase with chopsticks and/or rice balls. Otherwise, they are as worthless as if I came to your driveway and dumped 4500 pairs of chopsticks and 100 balls of rice. LOL
Maybe throw in a bucket of warm spit for desert? 🙂

I’ve had him for a day. Waiting to set if I Get Lucky on the Potion soon. Weird to see TWO Golden Dragons on my streets at once, but cool. Now what do I do with 3,000 useless chopsticks, 170 rice balls, and 30 expired coupons? I’m still earning red envelopes from the Dragon, but there doesn’t seem to be anything of value for all of these worthless currencies. My only complaint is that TinyCo should start making more characters and buildings available for things like chopsticks. Or even let us sell 1,000 chopsticks for 1 clam or a mystery box. Way too many decos. They are useless.

I always look at it a little different, I have thousands of chopsticks and such but what stops me getting annoyed at all the stuff I’m left with is thinking of the players who are still struggling get what they need to complete the event, so I always think yeah I’d rather have too much than too little. But remember there’s another week to go, so those rice balls etc will probably be needed there.
