Quahog Heat 101: Punks

Just when you thought things might quieten down in your game, TinyCo has only gone and Punk’d us.

It looks like some mohicaned menaces are invading our towns, so you may want to join me as I help you get on top of this problem as we chat more about catching them and then clearing them.

So let’s take a look to see exactly what it takes to bring these pesky characters to our town in order we can clear them out.

WHEN DO PUNKS START APPEARING IN MY GAME? 

In order to be able to start seeing Punks In the Bowling Alley Rooms you will need to be in Phase 4 and have started the Main Questline  Mission Possible, they appear right away at Pt 1. At that point you will be instructed to start investigating rooms at the Bowling Alley.

WHERE DO I FIND PUNKS? 

First you must complete a successful investigation in one of the two Yacht Club rooms they appear in, The Rental Counter and The Snack Bar, where if you’re lucky you will find 3 Punks and they will be released into your Quahog.

If you’re successful the Punks will leave the event area and wander towards any sidewalk you have.

***Please note once I had 9 Punks wandering in my town, they stopped showing as a chance drop in investigations until I cleared some***

WHAT DO I NEED TO CLEAR PUNKS?

In order to clear a Punk you need a Bowling Ball. You can get these from:

Bowling Balls (Common): Stewie Try to Reach Pinball Machine OR Meg Join a Bowling League OR Confused Dazed Brian Go Bowling OR Suds O Rama Car W

HOW TO ATTACK AND CLEAR A PUNK?

Now that you have the Basics to get the Punks, let’s walk through actually taking down one of them with a Bowling Ball, be warned it sounds more fun than it is, lol.

Tap on the Punks to bring up the Attack Screen then I drag the Bowling Ball at the bottom to place it in the path of the Punk.

I take the Bowling Ball and drag it around my play screen until I can see the Punk I want to attack walking INTO the “Kill Zone Circle” and the Punk has turned PURPLE. Once I am sure of this, I tap on the Check Mark.

Be aware the Punk will move out of the kill zone if you wait too long. However if you act quick and hit him the Punk will now be cleared and your rewards will drop.

WHAT REWARDS DO I GET? 

To find out what Punks drop click on the little box showing them in the investigation rooms, you will see a box like this. You need to scroll left to see the full list of drops.

As you can see Punks drop the following:

Per Punk Cleared:
2 Bowling Shoes  (Always)
 1 Cigarette Pack (Always)

They also drop some $ & XP
