Look out Addicts, as things are definately heating up with the last of the Quahog Heat Event’s Weekly Challenges.
Now in the last couple of events TinyCo seemed to be making these challenges just an eensy weensy teensy bit easier and we were seeing a flourish of happy comments, but then they upped the stakes again in the first challenge of this event, so be prepared for these to be difficult as the random nature of drops from investigations really leaves things out-with your control in my opinion.
Anyway this week’s challenge, if you should choose to accept it, seems a little daunting at first, but if you’ve managed to stockpile some police tape, or Punks, neither of which will have been an easy task, you can have a go at this as it should work in tandem with what a lot of us will be doing right now, clearing Punks. But it might not be easy with the Punks drop rate. However if you do manage to complete it you will be rewarded with the Sarasota Spider decoration.
***Update: 18/3 There’s seem to be a glitch in that if you complete the challenge you get awarded a 2nd Lowrider instead of the Sarasota Spider – TinyCo have been made aware***
And if you have completed the full set of weekly challenges, you’ll get the B-Team van.

I haven’t even come close to making a single weekly challenge the last two events yet I’ve finished both events without clam rushing. And I keep seeing people say that the challenges have gotten easier. To me they’ve gotten massively harder while the overall events are easier.

I think these challenges were extremely hard. If tape hadn’t been so rare, it would have been easier. Especially once we found out how to get exactly the outcome we wanted while searching all the rooms. I hated the decos personally, but I would have been upset with it had it been something I was interested in. Obviously we love a challenge, some are over the top.

I just completed this week’s challenge and it awarded the Knight Low Rider again instead of the Sarasota Spider.

Its bugged, i got 2 Knight Lowriders and never got the Sarasota spider. Got the B team Van and everything else.

I also got the second lowrider and the b-team van. TC sent the spider as the event was ending. If you completed all 4 weeklys, check your inventory.

The Sarasota spider is a spin off of the Ferrari Dayton Spyder that was Sonny Crocketts car in Miami Vice.

Ugh another tough challenge. I’ve had to spend quite a few clams on the challenges this event. Though the prizes have all been worth it and better than usual. Love the cars

It should show the Spider, I’ll try updating the post. I’m not sure who’s car it is to be honest, maybe someone can offer us their opinion.

This’ll be tricky as I was anticipating being able to stockpile tape and bowling balls over the weekend… I have 20+ tape, but less than 10 bowling balls

It turns out I only had 5 bowling balls, but it didn’t matter as I got everything I needed with 18 hours to spare. I was worried over nothing 🙂
