WHAT THE HECK IS A TRICERATOPS DINOZORD?

Well basically it’s just another robotic dinosaur that will help you gather resources by doing tasks and attacking the Water Kaiju.

WHAT RESOURCES DO I NEED TO COMBINE (ENERGIZE) MY TRICERATOPS DINOZORD?

You need Blue Zeo SubCrystals. You can get these from Goldar Brian Scare Off Blue Ranger Cosplayers OR Yellow Ranger Bonnie Scare Off Blue Ranger Cosplayers OR Purchase From The Store

HOW DO I COMBINE (ENERGIZE) THE TRICERATOPS DINOZORD?

***Please note like the previous phases Zords, you don’t need to have characters to combine it with to use it to attack. The Zords can battle on their own, they are just weaker. So remember you don’t need to have unlocked Blue Ranger Joe or the have the Blue Ranger to use your Triceratops DinoZord. They are simply used to create a stronger version – more on this later***

You need to tap on the PowerCon Command Centre in the Event Area, this will bring you up the command screen, here you will see the Pterodactyl DinoZord, (referred to as the Blue DinoZord in the screen menu), it is the 3rd Zord available.

Tap on the Blue DinoZord box and you will see the cost to Combine (Energize) him is 4 Blue Zeo SubCrystals and his Energy strength will be 3.

If you have 4 Blue Zeo SubCrystals available simply Tap Combine and you will see the following box pop up.

Tap Yes to confirm and your 3 Energy Triceratops DinoZord will wander from the event area into your town.

Tapping on him will bring up a task screen similar to that of our game characters, however as well as showing his tasks, it will also show his total energy and in the task the total energy needed to complete the task.  He has 2 general tasks, these:

And the following extra 3 Water Kaiju Attack tasks, which are these:

HOW DO I COMBINE TO MAKE A STRONGER TRICERATOPS DINOZORD?

Basically this is where Blue Ranger Joe and the Blue Ranger come into play, but ONLY once you’ve unlocked them.

If you select the Blue DinoZord alone, he’s at energy strength 4, however add Blue Ranger Joe OR/AND the Blue Ranger  and you will create a stronger Blue Zord for the same 4 Blue Zeo SubCrystals as using the Blue Zord on his own. Yes that’s right, it doesn’t cost a higher amount of Blue Zeo SubCrystals to create a stronger Blue Zord.

Blue Ranger Joe adds 5 energy points to your Blue DinoZord and the Blue Ranger adds 7. Add both and you’re adding a total of 12 energy points to your Blue Zord.

In order to do this, you simply need to select your Blue Zord, then choose the character to add to the combination from the PowerCon Command Centre. For example if you select Blue Ranger Joe, you will see a check mark in his box and the Blue Zord strength will now show as 8.

And if you’ve unlocked the Blue Ranger, you can select both, and you will see the Blue DinoZord energy rise to 15.

Then tap Combine and agree to spending the 4 Blue Zeo SubCrystals to release the stronger Triceratops (Blue) DinoZord into your game. You can then do tasks until his energy is fully depleted. We’ll talk more about what happens once your Triceratops DinoZord energy is depleted a little bit later.

WHAT TASKS DOES TRICERATOPS DINOZORD HAVE AND WHAT ARE THEY USED FOR?

There are two  general tasks with drops, these are:

And 3 are tasks used to Attack the Water Kaiju, and these are:

I will try to break down all the Water Kaiju levels and rewards in the 101 post on this topic.

DECOMBINING THE TRICERATOPS DINOZORD?

Once your Triceratops DinoZord is out of Energy, he will not be able to do any further tasks, you will know he’s out of energy as he will stand static and have a no energy sign above his head like this.

If you tap on him you will get a message telling you the Zord is out of energy and giving you the option to Decombine him, just tap Yes to do this. (Alternatively you can Decombine him in the PowerCon Command Centre).

Once you’ve done this the Triceratops DinoZord will be once again be available to select in the PowerCon Command Centre.

***Please note some players are still experiencing crashing issues when they attempt to Decombine their Zords, TinyCo have been made aware of this, but if you’re having this issue I recommend once you hit Decombine immediately visit OllieLand then back before you tap anything in your game, this seems to get round the issue***

There you have it, all the facts about the Triceratops DinoZord. What are your thoughts? Have you started to combine any yet? If so, are you enjoying this addition to our games? Any other tips for fellow Players? Let us know.

  2. If you decombine a zord before he runs out of energy do you lose all the energy left?

Yes I’m afraid you will, I use up any excess energy if it’s not enough to attack on the basic tasks before I decombine. Or if it has enough energy to attack but the Kaiju is down, if I don’t need characters combined I leave it wandering until Kaiju comes back.

    • Yes, but you can also leave a Zord running around until you need him. I’ve done that a few times when I wanted another low-level attack as I didn’t have enough crystals to keep attacking before the Kaiju would disappear.
