Hey there, it’s time to go pick up the mailman, or what’s left of him.
Yes, those pesky bills aren’t going to reach the residents of Quahog any time soon as we’re sending our pampered pooches into Attack Mailman mode.
WHAT THE HECK IS A MAILMAN AND WHEN WILL THEY APPEAR IN MY GAME?
You will be able to start seeing Mailmen in your Quahog when you trigger Pt. 3 of the main Questline Return To The Dog Multiverse. Please be aware they didn’t appear instant,y in my game, just be patient and they will spawn.
At that point you will be instructed to learn about Mailmen. Clicking Go will bring up instructions on them and subsequently clearing them.
WHERE WILL I FIND A MAILMAN?
They will wander your sidewalks, so look there and you will find them. I’ve only had 4 max available at any one time, and they seemed to be released in my game every 4 hours.
WHAT DO I NEED TO CLEAR A MAILMAN?
This is pretty simple, you need Dog Peter or Poodle Stewie (premium character) to clear a Mailman, both have a 6 hour task to do this.
HOW DO I CLEAR A MAILMAN?
Simply make sure there are some Mailmen in your town and send Dog Peter or/and Poodle Stewie to clear them, you can access their tasks either by clicking on their profile or by clicking on a Mailman and tapping GO.
The tasks you’re looking for are: Chase Mailman
It takes 6 hours to clear each Mailman and you can see the task progress by clicking on Dog Peter or Poodle Stewie during their task.
Once the character has completed clearing a Mailman you will see them with a check mark above them, simply tap this and collect your rewards.
WHAT REWARDS DO I GET?
Per Mailman Cleared:
1 Knotted Rope (Chance)
5 Golden Dog Bone (Chance)

I still need two more ropes as well. Once again the “uncommon” item is the hardest to come by.

To be fair drops seem ok for once. I got Dog Peter about 24 hours ago (no idea how people got him much faster than that unless premium!). Have just fibihsed everything for Lois except the ropes for which I have got 2 drops from 4 or 5 attempts.. 2 more full days after today (events end 11pm in the uk), leaving about 6 more chances for 2 drops. Fingers crossed!

i’ve got the same poor drop rates.
Dog Peter has been biting bottoms for a few days now and I think I’ve got 1 rope and 0 bones. I love a pointless/fruitless mini event…. 😐

also the bombs were dropping fine at the start of the event , now they’ve come to a dead-halt .. 0 bombs from 3 consecutive tasks to each character (so 0/9 potential drops) and i’m really worried about the socks ..

I purchased Poodle Stewie so he’s been on mailman duty since the beginning…not a single Knotted Rope yet, yikes…let’s hope the drops get better the more times he chases mailmen…
