I needed 5 more socks to get Lois. Poor drop on both bombs and socks. This game is becoming quite aggravating. I used all the clams I had and still didn’t get her.

Got my timing wrong in Asia too. Woke up middle of night thinking I have a day more to grind for 10 more socks but turns out event was over after next 3 hours when I woke up again at 7am on my 27th morning!
Really tough one to get. Just too many socks required!

So the event ended. 4 more socks for Lois. Poor bomb drops combined with poor sock drops. Wonder what’s next.

hahha, exactly my thinking, have to shell some clams … (30 if i remember correctly) in order to get her, or would have lost her

That’s a bargain. When there was only 24 hours left with no chance of getting enough socks, I ended up spending 142 clams to get Lois because of the flea bomb shortage (I bought two 7-packs, got 3-4 mutts with each one but they didn’t always release a sock). Also spent 71 clams on Peter’s flea bombs to get what he needed a couple of days before since I needed him to get enough bones to get Lois’s buildings. That’s still only a little more than 100 clams each for both and I hadn’t wanted to buy anything for a while, so clam tv free clams were piling up. I even bought poodle Stewie since unlike human Stewie – he’s adorable (and I’m a cat person). Won’t even begin to speculate on the gene mixing that resulted in a bulldog and a poodle among the kids from a spaniel and whatever doggie Peter is.
But I’m only able to play about twice a day while my isp is gone bonkers. Internet is intermittent even during the day and tends to conk out by 6:30pm and not come up again until about 9 am, with some puzzling exceptions. But this shows that to progress in these events, twice a day is unlikely to get you far unless you spend clams. Normally I would be able to check in probably at least four times a day and that probably would be enough to do it clam-free. Timed unlocks are pretty much impossible right now for me.

Totally got my times wrong converting to PDT from British summertime and missed getting her over 2 socks that I’m sure I’d have got if I’d have picked up the 3 bombs that dropped in time. Grrrrr
