It’s Stewie time!!!
Yes with the new Peter’s Prohibition Party event, we’re getting some new Characters Costumes and one of them just happens to be Roaring 20’s Stewie.
Let’s throw you some information on what Roaring 20’s Stewie can do in our silly lil games.
Roaring 20’s Stewie is a New Character Costume added during the Peter’s Prohibition Party event. As with many costumes in the game in order to get him you have to collect lots of stuff! You will be directed to unlock him via the Just Dandy questline which triggers after Pt. 2 of the main Questline Booze Hounding. Tapping on Go will take you to Al’s where he can be made.
Requires
22 Bowties (Common): Mort Get Dressed To Party OR Meg Dress To Impress OR Wilson’s Garage
32 Passwords (Uncommon): Clear Hangovers
28 Hair Dressing Cream (Uncommon): Get from Shirley’s Salon OR Pumphouse Gym
16 Jazz Records (Rare): Stewie Listen To Jazz OR Lois Sort a Through Old Records OR Get from All That Jazz Club
Roaring 20’s Stewie is part of the The Great Griffins Facespace set, which is worth 10 clams if you complete it.
Once you have finished collecting all the Materials his Costume requires, it will just take you just 1s to finish up and “CREATE!” the Costume in Al’s. When the timer is up, just tap on the Check Mark above Al’s to pull Roaring 20’s Stewie into your game.
He does come with a Questline, Just Dandy, more on that in another post.
Roaring 20’s Stewie does come with a complete set of Tasks! Tasks that will help you earn $$$ & XP!

I guess I’ll add my voice to the others who have no way left to get this character skin for Stewie. I really wanted it. It’s the first character skin for Stewie, that I can remember, since I have been using this game that was for Stewie and didn’t require clams to just pay for outright.

so frustrated! I normally get all unlockables’ since I am on this consistently; up several times a night! But with all characters going for the glasses and only 1 at a time dropping its absurdly hard this time. I thought once the last day hit, the rates would improve but NO. Even contacting support was of no effect! I don’t know what they tweeked, but I wish they would tweak it back!.

I won’t even be close (only 16/32 Passwords) and I was on schedule resetting tasks nearly every time during the week. Poor luck with coffee pots and password drops I guess.

I have managed to obtain the 20’s Stewie costume with half a day to go and without spending any clams, but boy was it a grind! Playing religiously ever 4 hours, setting times to remind myself, and constantly having the 3 characters collecting coffee pots and 3 more collecting axes ( which help collect whiskey which helps in turn to obtain additional martini drinks).
This game is becoming too much of a chore and not enough fun!

I would be curious how many players actually get R20s Stewie as I have played pretty much every 4 hours and have everything except the passwords completed. Currently 19/32. With getting enough martinis to get up to unlocking the moonshine auto. So it’s not even a matter of not enough coffees to cure hangovers. Yes they are slow coming but it seems just the bad drop rate for passwords is the only reason for not getting close.

Yeah, I had timers going every 4 hours (7 hours for sleep) and I’m still way off. I need 5 passwords, 8 cream, 3 records. Some days I’d be lucky to get anything but coffee & axes. I have 1 more collection before bedtime in 25 minutes and the event will be over when I wake up. I probably won’t even get the Dancing Dandy (6 martinis away). There’s no way I’d spend clams on a costume.

I got my last password late last night, but that was the biggest holdout by far.
I had him drop a martini overnight and he is doing the Charleston now to end the quest.

Amazing how some of you could get this costume without spending clams! I am 9 passwords and 2 hair creams short. This costume and its visual dance task looks awesome and may just buy it at the last hour with clams. Trying to get as much items as possible to reduce number of clams needed.

And… I’m done with the game. Passwords and Hair Cream are at less than half with less than a day to go so Stewies outfit just ain’t happening. Finally hit me while reading Alissa’s post on the new Futurama game. I really don’t like this any more. I don’t like setting timers to remind myself of when I need to check progression only to find that it was x hours wasted due to ludicrous ‘drop rates’. I don’t need to be told to ‘be patient’ by game developers who are afraid of people getting thru content too fast but don’t seem to care if they frustrate the hell out of us. I’d save this for a What the Deuce post but I likely won’t be here much any more. I do have to thank everyone involved here for all the insights into trying to make this hot mess enjoyable.
Last word, Bunny – take care of yourself. Many thanks for all you have done and given so unselfishly. It is greatly appreciated.

I’m thinking the same… the events are just too inconsistent to be enjoyable. A couple of events this year I was able to get everything freemium, and I thought TinyCo had learned the error of their ways. But this event is another example of either intentionally trying to gouge us for clams or simply poor playtesting. I will see what the next event is, but I’m ready to stop playing… at least until they make drops “always” and just increase the wait times if they want to slow us down.

Well I’m at the same point. I have been playing constantly on two systems but wont get Stewie on either. I’m just about done with this game. I doubt I will play the Futurama game very long. I will give it a go but I absolutely will NOT spend any money. Ive spent far too much on this game as it is.
