A Very Quahog Holo-ween Wave 5 is LIVE!!

Hang in there with me… my game keeps freezing on me and it’s taking a bit to pull the stats.

Phase 5 of a A Very Quahog Holo-ween! has dropped into our silly lil games. With it we will see more Scary Creatures, Characters, and Zombies. Are you ready for another week of Battles?

A VERY QUAHOG HOLO-WEEN EVENT ENDS WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 8th @ 3PM PACIFIC

TIMER CLAM OFFER WARNINGS ON CHARACTER AND LOST HOPE HOSPITAL AKA ACHIEVEMENT TASKS

First up, the Basics

  • Players will need to have completed all of Phase 4 Main Questline, Unhappy Holo-ween Pt.7, in order to see all the New Phase 3 Content.
  • Players will need to be on at least App Market Version 1.56.1  in order to see the event. (Note: Amazon was dragging their feet on the Update, so you may not see it just yet)
  • Players will need to have at LEAST District 3 Unlocked and Al’s complete.
  • Players will only see this on the Mobile App Version (iOS, Google, Amazon, Facebook). NOT Windows Stand Alone
  • PLAY THE GAME! Items unlock in stages and as you progress, so if you do not see an item it is most likely you have not progressed far enough in the Main Questline to unlock it. Check details below for more specifics on unlock points
  • Don’t have a TON of Tasks open in your Task Menu. If you have too many open, no new ones can arrive. (Keep it under 10). If you do not see new Tasks popping up, clear out some incomplete Tasks already on your List to make room for more.

ZOMBIE SHOOTING RANGE/GUARD TOWER

Triggers during Main Questline Phase 4, Unhappy Holo-ween Pt. 5. You will unlock the Guard Tower at this point.

This is another element added to the Event to help you gain Materials needed to progress. For those that played past Events, this is similar to the Boxing Training Ring in that you have to tap the Zombie Icons on the screen quickly to get the maximum rewards provided.

The Zombie Shooting Range is located in the Guard Tower in the Event Area.

Cost to Use Range: 2 Bottle Caps

Bottle Caps (Uncommon): Zombie Lois Go Out to Eat (x2) OR Clear Trucker Zombies OR Billy the Puppet Make Traps (x2)

Range Time: 20 Seconds

CLOWN ZOMBIE

Bad Guy for the New Phase. You will need a Character(s) and a Weapon from the Gun Shop to clear them. Tap on a Zombie to start the Attack process once you’ve created the weapon.

Clown Zombies: Require A Machine Gun

Machine Gun: Require to Rifle Bullets create in the Gun Shop (See Gun Shop for more details)

STRONGMAN ZOMBIE

Bad Guy for the New Phase. You will need a Character(s) and a Weapon from the Gun Shop to clear them. Tap on a Zombie to start the Attack process once you’ve created the weapon.

Machine Gun: Require Rifle Bullets to create in the Gun Shop (See Gun Shop for more details)

GUN STORE

This will be your “CREATE” area where you will collect Materials to turn them into weapons used to attack the Bad Guys in the game.

Here are the items you will Create for Wave 5…

Machine Gun: Require 4 Rifle Bullets to Create

Rifle Bullets (Always): Mort Meet With Unsavory People (5hrs/x5 rewarded**Requires Black Market Weapons Dealer to be placed in Quahog) OR Steve Bellows Hold Up a Convenience Store (3hrs, x3 rewarded) OR John Wick’s Car

Create Time: 1hr 30mins

***Demon Stewie can also earn Machine Guns: Demon Stewie Roast Peter

You can be making up to 6 items in the QUEUE at a time in the Gun Store. Then you will have to wait until one finishes before adding more into the Queue.

 


QUARANTINE TENT

Here is where you will exchange one group of Materials for another. For Wave 4, you will be exchanging Eyes, Hearts, and Feet for Brains. Here are some of the exchanges I saw.

Here is where you will trade Materials you collect while playing the game to unlock Buildings & Decorations to use to further your game play in the Event.

TIMER WARNING CLAM OFFERS: Similar to last Phase, you will have trigger points to have Clam Offers appear in the Achievement Tasks to complete specific Buildings in specific times to gain additional Clams. Also similar, if you miss one the additional offers will NOT trigger.

ACHIEVEMENT TASKS

These are Tasks you will need to complete to help you progress in the Event. They vary, but are essentially things you would be doing anyway to further your progress just by playing.

You can get to the current Achievements Check List Screen by tapping on the  Icon in the lower right corner of the game screen. And don’t forget you can still work on Previous Wave Achievement Tasks, just click on the back Arrow in the Wave Achievement pages.

Once you complete an Achievement, just tap on “CLAIM” button next to it to gain your reward. To go quickly to location of Achievement you need to complete, tap on the “GO” icon next to it.

Here is a brief look at the list of what I currently see in my game for this Phase Achievement Check List (as you clear one or progress through Main Questline, another will appear). We will list a more complete rundown in a later post.

    Achievement Task “Last Stand Pt. 2” is impossible to complete/collect on unless you had crossbows already cued up going into this week’s content.

    17 Free Candy (Common) – 17 Crossbows @ 1.75 hrs each = 29.75 hrs. build
    13 Clown Shoes (Always) – 13 Machine Guns @ 1.5 hrs each = 19.5 hrs. build
    29.75 hrs + 19.5 hrs = 49.25 hrs

    Needed for the achievement quest = 48 hours

    This quest is impossible to complete in the time given unless you already had Crossbows ready to go the moment the quest began (roughly at the start of the event for anyone who managed to get ahead over the last several weeks). TinyCo was doing well with their collective maths up to this point. Please TinyCo, correct the problem. Players shouldn’t be punished for having played well enough to get ahead.

      You can also get Free Candy dropped from the Windowless Van Dealership so that should make the quest possible in the time provided.

    • Odd enough, in my game “Say My Name” timed quest for Candyman disappeared but Herbert’s quest “Last Stand Pt. 2” is still showing the timer (now at 1 day 5 hours). Hopefully they’re adjusting these timers to make it possible to achieve both.

    • Not really as you can start collecting stuff for Herbert before the timer appears, so unless you were somebody how collected the buildings straight away for part 1, then you would have already collected some of the items.

    • Also you get the free candy from the building windowless van dealership that you place to start candyman, so not impossible.

    • Update: I’ve got a bit of egg on my face now and apologize to you all about this one. I somehow forgot that the building drops the items and it’s not by build alone. It’s tough but achievable. My apologies to TinyCo as well. It’s been a pretty fun event and been a ton more balanced than previous events. Constant grind may not be everyone’s cup of tea; but, it does allow for more skill and strategy in the game play rather than the linear game play that’s been a staple of this game since its inception. I would like to thank TinyCo for continuing the good work and Bunny for still providing us with this valuable road map for the game. Thanks again.

  4. For everyone’s info, you should quickly place Candyman to start collecting his items to unlock. I recognize there is a 6 day timer to get bonus clams for Candyman, but contrary to previous weeks, don’t wait to collect enough brains to place more buildings because the event is ending in 7 days. Hope that makes sense.

  5. I hope they never do a 5 week event again! I was bored after week 2, and it’s just dragging on now. Waaaaaayyyyyyyy too many buildings again, all dumped into storage. I’d like to see a maximum of 6-8 for the entire event! Less is more guys!

Almost done phase 4 , I’m not looking forward to week 5😒 seems like they took a dump on week 4 and 5…why can’t the achievements prizes be like the fast times event and have you slowly build up to a character, where you place the building down and have him need 5 items and each week the achievements prize was one of those items , could have made billy the puppet the main prize😫

  8. 2 things, sorry if I missed them: One: you can collect the windowless car dealership from the hospital, place it, and then get another one from your stored inventory. (Hopefully it’ll help, rather than creating bugs!) Two: Is Demon Stewie a character or a costume?
