Hey there readers, I’d like to welcome you to this winter’s tale, where today I’m going to be talking about the event that just was, Peter’s Games. After 2 weeks of fun on the ice it’s all over but for the poll, and that’s where we will find out if this event saw you rise to the top or sink to the bottom.
Now I usually do a big, long-winded, rambling review of events but I’m finding since many of the recent events are clones of what’s gone previous I’m writing the same each time. This wassn’t fun to write and it must have been getting boring for you to read, so I decided a while ago to cut it short and just tell you what I liked and didn’t like.
What I liked:
- The return of snow until we got snowed in for real
- Bonus Clams
- Very funny animated tasks
- Shorter side Questlines
- Multiplying Committee Officials
What I didn’t like:
- Common drops not very common
- Committee Official Boss requiring various bribe resources
- All freemium unlockables were costumes
- Event just fell kind of flat
- Extortionate cost in Medals for returning costumes

i don’t care much for winter games anyway but I’m sure there are more than curling, speed and figure skating events. Not that we got to partake in any event just clearing the spawning participants.
Pointless filler event.

Didn’t care for the event much, nor about.the characters or costumes …
But I did play, simply because of the clam rewards – of which I managed to get both, then stopped playing until today!

I didn’t like this event at all… or rather, I didn’t care about it at all. I really wanted to skip it, but it wasn’t particularly annoying so I did it anyway. I don’t care about the Winter Olympics and the “celebrities” (Irving and Vonn) were too obscure to those outside the US.

I’m an American and a sports fan, and I was a little surprised at the choices…Irving is a solid NBA player but hardly one of the top 10 or even top 20 these days…Vonn is probably the best known present American Olympic athlete but only because there aren’t that many beyond her and Shaun White…and she dated Tiger Woods after his divorce…so, I totally get it, yes, even here in America, it was a little of a head-scratcher…

I was trying to place Basketball in the Winter Olympics, I failed, lol.

I stopped after Week 1, and got the 2 new costumes for Peter and Joe. Because of exhaustion from He Man event and more importantly, frustrated from common drop items being uncommon. Fruit baskets was a case in point. Prob get more frustrated had I continued to play in Week 2 as I saw 3 different type of items needed to bribe official. Really??
All in all, a forgettable event for me. But not the worst. TSTO happened to have a worse event during this same time.

TSTO is just repetitive now, there’s nothing to do but few taps a day. It’s a shell of what it once was, and its tendency to bore me is why I prefer this and FWOT despite fact they can be infuriating.

I agree with you. It felt “flat”. Like a filler event to give the developers time to work on a bigger event. I also want to see more new characters and less skins. Much like the He-Man event where we got 12 new characters. Granted that was a full month long event.

I did not get Skater Lois but that was because I did not care to, not because I was unable to, just a costume to scroll by and no clam prize for obtaining
