After a quick week of beach bumming, it’s all over but for the poll, and that’s where we will find out if this event saw you having fun in the sun or feeling liked TinyCo kicked sand in your eyes.

Family Guy Addicts 
After skipping a couple and the last event being so screwed up some people couldn’t get past Week 2 (no Drunk Boss), I went ahead and played this one. Looked easy. Although I finished Quagmire’s quest after the end time, I nevertheless completed the event. Glad I played it. After all of the recent frustrations, I needed to feel like I could still accomplish something in this game to keep me interested in playing it.
I have basically three goals: 1) Get my coin count so high I don’t know how much I have, just that it’s over $10M (done), 2) Get to Max level (had done it before, when max was 60. Since they raised it to 100, I’m at 94), and 3) Fill Tan Lines. I didn’t start playing until right before Peter Palooza (Sept. ’15), so I’ve missed a lot of characters from before then, and even since I started because I hadn’t yet unlocked other characters I needed to help me get the new ones (for example, I got Avril Lavigne during Peter Palooza, but without Lois, I couldn’t get Alice Cooper). I can currently fill about 3/5 of Tan Lines.

Hey, I still need over 100 NEW characters to fill Tan Lines! And as crappy as drop rates have been lately to get the materials to unlock them, not to mention all the glitches that have halted play, it could very well take me another year to get that done.

I was… sort of close to unlocking Sunburnt Quagmire. Maybe one more day. I wasn’t going to spend (more) clams to finish it. Not enough beach balls

Didn’t get Quagmire’s costume but it doesn’t matter as it was just another outfit. Mini event with only 2 outfits for characters, that have lots of outfits anyway, made it a ‘meh’ event.
I might have been more inclined to spend clams on the mystery box if I could have chosen the returning character(s) I wanted. Not interested in the mystery option of random outcomes. Saved my clams.
