A Look In The Rear – End of Event Poll

Hey there readers, welcome to our end of event poll, where today I’m going to be researching the event that just was, Family Guy – A Look In The Rear. After a long 5 weeks of time travel, it’s all over but for the poll, and that’s where we will find out if this event saw you return to the present day or get left in the past?

So if you can please take a minute to complete the end of event poll I’d be very grateful. Please note for those that experience the jump glitch when answering poll questions, there’s a direct link at the bottom of the page that will help you avoid this problem, just keep scrolling to the bottom.

And just incase you can’t see the poll or find it jumps about when you’re trying answer, here’s the direct link:

  1. Another event that bypassed Facebook users. I was ready to throw the towel for good, when I unexpectedly got my hands on a tablet. I installed the game, but never managed to import my player profile from FB. The game crashed every time ! So I had no other solution than to start again with a new profile. Back to basics, and it’s quite fun, actually ! And as soon as I unlocked Al Harrington’s store, the event started. At last !

I only had ten days left, and just managed to reach the 1960s area, but I quite enjoyed it ! The concept was great, especially the idea of having the 1950s area in black & white, and I suspect the designers had a blast creating those period-correct buildings (I myself have a penchant for mid-20th century architecture).

All in all, I’ll give 4/5 for this event. Also, I’ve noticed I have ALL the buildings from the event in my stash, even the ones from event areas I didn’t reach. Is it the same for everyone ?

    • Yes event buildings same to be here, there and d erywhere in our inventories. I’m sure one of our long term players played the event on Facebook. Derek? Wonder if it p’s regional or something.

  2. I kinda got fed up with impossible events and no gaps between so for the first time really didnt bother for the forst week or two. Then did get into it and literally just reached the 80s on the last fay of the event. I guess I made it into a 3 week event instead of 5 and just completed those at a sensible pace. Shame but i think this game must be slowly losing players due to repetitive events and many being impossible freemium

  3. I had a problem with the set up of this event. I will use charge cards (because that is the only item I remember) to explain. For the week that we used charge cards to buy the building, you get the cards mainly from completing tasks. The only use of the charge cards is to buy the buildings which in turn earn you the items to unlock 80’s Quagmire (I think). Why then are there tasks that you can only complete once you have unlocked Quagmire. The charge cards you earn are after you open Quagmire are useless. Why set it up that way? Just my 2 cents.

    • You could trade Charge cards for Benjamins in Week 5, the same as other weeks where you could trade old currency for the latest one

  4. I got stuck in Week 4, too. I was disappointed that 80s Quagmire was timed, when the other characters weren’t. I agree the bananas took too long. I didn’t need the last building after I missed the timer for Quagmire, but it was part of the main quest so I had to do it to move on. It was great until the 4th week. I didn’t finish until mid week of Week 5 and after a day or two I gave up on trying to get Horace. I just waited for the event to end. Also, I don’t like having to go to so many screens for so many different timelines. Took a lot of time, instead of a main event area in the main town.

Loved the concept, generally enjoyed this one. Week 4 was rough – got Quagmire, but part 7 requirement to hit the breakdancer 4 times was really a grind – set me back a few days for the last stage. Had to buy out Horace, but the clam bonus offset most of it. Strange move to make the grand prizes for the last two weeks basically unattainable. I do like the decades versions of the buildings…

  8. Hiya RT, are there any addicts that are having their game crash on the loading screen? (says it can’t find Peter’s playhouse). I have emailed TinyCo twice and uninstalled/reinstalled – all to no avail. Any news or ideas? Many thanks in lieu of your reply.

  10. Week 4 slowed me right down. Took longer to finish than the week. The production time was too long for banana skins, and the challenge list was too much. Getting charge cards starting taking forever and I never did finish the full set or the set in week 5.
