Any news on why we can’t place the appliance stores? I emailed the mod here and no response. I’d like to know if there is a solution!

Hi, sorry I’m afraid there’s still no solution or word of one coming as yet. My personal thinking is it might not be fixed until next big update at the end of this event as at the moment all focus is on fixing the glitch that’s locked players out for the last few weeks. If I hear anything else I’ll let you know.

This is more of a general WTD not just for the current week. We lost clam TV videos for a month and when they brought it back they reduced the clams per day from 7 to 5. I know it doesn’t seem much but some of us can’t use the play demo option as its grayed out, the only option for me is the watch videos and the occasional visit other neighborhoods clam (and that isn’t always). Some of the event characters cost up to 300 clams and they don’t even give the really important stuff away for clams anymore they just ask for money (Event specific clam generators or past event characters/skins). We haven’t received any bonus clam offers for finishing a character/skin for over a month. I know TC/JC is a company and they need to make money but with this pace and the nerfed clams, we won’t even be able to buy a character a month anymore. so WTD.

Sarting last night I have been able to earn a lot of clams playing game demos. This morning I realized they have taken those clams away. I have messaged tinyco through the game about this. While it may be a glitch on their side that allowed the play of more demos than usual I still spent time. Hopefully they respond.

I think the play demos may be in play test (how clam tv was available to some players and not the others) because it’s always been grayed out for me. It is weird of them to take the clams away though. Definitely contact TinyCo about that.

The 7 hours healing time! Would make a world of difference if it was 6 hours! And the 4.5 minute loading time, which not be so bad if I could do something else – but will not load if I try to use some other apps at the same time.

Bottleneck #1 for week two for me is the monster manuals. #2 is only getting 2 masks per purchase, so getting weekly buildings is a crawl.

Any one else have to pay claims (120) to make the Franken Chris character after collecting all the materials? I never seen that before? For a free character that’s seems like a glitch…

No, make sure you scroll along His unlock requirements, you need collect 5 different things for him, one, the sewing kits you get from the Vampiresses, is off screen unless you scroll.

It’s been many years since I tried one of their garbage Mystery Boxes, and with other people getting Herman on the first try I thought I’d give it a try. 1st try: 4 pathetic masks. 2nd try: costume for deal. So 300 clams for a costume. Well done, Tiny Co. You’ve managed to make me feel ******* over yet again.

I think I am going to tell Zuckerberg how this game treats Facebook players – missing another event – you asked for it, Jam City, if Facebook (with Putin) can rig the US election, he can do a job on you.

Skirting around the WTD about no new mechanics and every event being essentially the same thing… Can we have just ONE event that doesn’t jack up the item collecting & crafting each week so we’re not always falling behind and becoming frustrated!?!? I find zero fun in what they’ve been doing repeatedly over the last… well, it’s gotta be a couple years now. Originally they had good play ideas, events were sort of fun and as long as you routinely reset tasks you had a good chance of keeping up. During the last even I even reset tasks in the middle of the night, which I hadn’t done for quite a while, and I was still probably a good 4-5 days behind at the end.

a deal popped up to buy clams and you get free cherry wood? cherry wood is only used to fight lincoln i think. is there still benefit in fighting him? lots of problems and weirdness with this event…

No he’s gone. I’m presuming pop up is to help you if you’re still stuck in Week 1 – otherwise as you say it’s useless at this time

I got the same pop up and thought it odd as I was done with Week 1 in time. Was hoping Abe and the Cherrywood would return. I had a few saved up and never got to use them. Will be using everything this week.

Fight Frankenstein’s monster.
Only Peter is available and he takes two turns which requires 3 manuals, and then you have to hope he doesn’t get knocked out in one turn.
You could use Franken Chris to fight too but you need 11 bolts from Frankenstein’s monster first and you only get 1 at a time for defeating him.
And there also Herman Munster who is a chance character to win in the mystery box. I wouldn’t have the clams to get him based on RT’s success.
Guess I’ll be late going into week 3 and every week after that throughout this event. Only took them one week to mess up the event.
