Yes, believe it or not April 10th will see our favourite game celebrate its 5th birthday and we’re getting an event to celebrate this.
Now there’s no word on an exact time when the event will go live, obviously we will see it sometime after the current event ends on 10th April at 3PM PST. Convenient eh!!! But until then if you want to know more here’s a sneak peek from TinyCo:
“The Griffin Family is celebrating 5 years of Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff. As a thank you to the fans, they don their gold suits from the opening sequence of the show and plan to dance a cheerful musical number. However, the performance runs into a hiccup!”

At what time do new events tend to start? Are they different depending on the OS?

They start same time usually across the platforms but the actual time go live depends on TinyCo, usually a Wednesday between 3pm and 6/7pm PST

I updated the app, now when my game loads I get a message when my town comes up “construction complete” with the Mrs Peacock character I earned. When I click “OK” on the message the game shuts down. I can’t work my way around it. Anyone else having this problem?

Others reporting same, they had to reinstall to fix it but only if you’ve saved your game to Facebook or a Username

The Clue event hasn’t even ended yet but Facebook players are already treated to the “Pardon our dust” screen ! I hope we won’t be locked out of the Five Years event.
