We’ve had lots of kapow in events gone by, but now it’s time for some more K-pop, as a trip down a Korean memory lane comes to Quahog in the Winter Summer Reunion  event.

Squatter button

This is a new feature to make it easier to find what TinyCo call Squatters, that’s the little baddies we clear during events, this week it’s still Paparazzi. These  wander our sidewalks and this be Of great help to those who have well designed towns and get fed up having remove most of their sidewalks or hunt for little baddies.

Not sure how it will work if there are more than one type of little baddie in an event, need wait and see on that I guess.

Anyway to use it this week, simply tap on the walking icon located at the center of the right edge of the screen and the game will automatically set the target on a  Paparazzi.

Quest for supremacy

Can’t tell you much about this as it’s a new feature not released yet. We can speculate as to what it may be, i.e. concerts and a leaderboard similar to that in Peterpalooza or something like the camp wars in Wet, Hot Quahog Summer. But then again repeats of those mechanisms wouldn’t be something new which is what we’re being promised in TinyCo’s information below:

“We are looking forward to the release of an exciting new competitive feature called the Quest For Supremacy. It will go live as part of Phase 2 of Winter Summer Reunion (4/26 12pm). You need to be in phase 2 to participate“.

What we do know for certain is you’ll need to be in Phase/Week 2 to take part, and a character costume will be up for grabs, K-Pop Cleveland.

I’ll cover this more once it drops in my game, until then feel free to speculate in the comments.

Here is where you will spend the Event Currency you collect while playing the game to unlock Buildings & Decorations to use to further your game play in the Event.

IBS cheerleader

The IBS Cheerleader Boss will trigger as soon as you start week 2 of the event. This is your Main Boss this week. You will “Trip” him with Bribe Money to defeat her to the highest level possible and obtain the most prizes.

 Bribe Money (Uncommon) –  Get from Gold Suit Lois Roll In The Dough, Sujin Meet Contestants, Giant Bing Bong Shrine

You’ll see her wandering your sidewalks with a timer above her head.

Simply tap her and you’ll see the level requirement trade and rewards. Collect the Bribe Money necessary for the trip then hit, eh, “TRIP“.

Here is the general breakdown of trip costs and rewards.

1X – Requires 1 Bribe Money
Rewards – 10 Soju Bottles & 1 Boy Band Poster

2X – Requires 2 Bribe Money
Rewards – 20 Soju Bottles & 2 Boy Band Posters

3X – Requires 3 Bribe Money
Rewards – 30 Soju Bottles & 4 Boy Band Posters

4X – Requires 4 Bribe Money
Rewards – 40 Soju Bottles & 8 Boy Band Posters

You have 24hrs to hit the highest level before the IBS Cheerleader will rest (cool down). Her cool down is 2 hours.

Please note when she returns she will be back at 1x unless you’ve used clams to wake her at the level she went into cool down at.

Paparazzi

These little baddies continue this week of the event and are quite simple to deal with, it’s just more of the tap, aim and fire you dud last week. Before you can clear them you’ll need to get a Banana, you’ll get them here:

 Banana (Common) –  Get from Popping Parade Floats, IBS Panel, Music Festival Mystery Box

Once you have a Banana you will find Paparazzi wandering  around your sidewalks by pressing the Squatter Button. Simply move the net until the green target circle is on a Paparazzi to clear it.

I am seeing up to a maximum of 16 in my game.
