The guys at TinyCo have given me a little details about a new feature that’s coming to a Quahog near you soon. If you don’t want to know about it then move on to the next post.

One of the most asked after features in Family Guy: The Quest For Stuff is a way to get old Event characters and costumes you’ve missed! And that’s what the new feature will be all about, a way to complete our character and costumes collections.
Now there’s no word on when this feature will be released into our games, as at this time TinyCo are still working on that, I’ll let you know more on the release date when I know it. But here’s a little teaser about it from TinyCo:
“Quahog Historical Society is a new feature that will open the opportunity for players to earn characters and skins from past events and complete their collections! Events will also offer an extra reward which will tie back to the feature!”

I have fortune in stewie bucks and coins. When it comes to characters RT you know I got a detailed list and keep track of every costume or character in the game. All of mine are maxed out.

u guys should let us get more guys with Coinsa lot of us playin the game might not have the money to put on the game for clams like me i have 20 millon coins and cant get things and we need more land cuse i have a bunch of buildings and no place to put them and there should not be a time for getin characters be cuse i get so close to get one and then the event is over so i dont get them and for the land u guys need to give us more land the better

I would like to spend Stevie bucks or even better, the millions of coin I’ve accumulated and have nothing to purchase with them! I have over 10 million coins.

That would be an interesting poll to me. I have 160 million coins, 55 Gold Stewie Bucks, and MAX level for like 4 years now. Probably Level 500 by now. Want to do a poll on those numbers — since we have a lull now between events? Might be a good time to sit back and take stock. I would love to see Mystery Boxes that cost 1 million coins and 1 Gold Stewie Buck or something like that.

Well the Max Level was increased to 100 in 2017, not sure I see that changing and with no reward for levelling most players aren’t bothered. Same goes with coins, Stewie Bucks, until they are useful again there’s not lot players interested in collecting them. If others reply they’d like a poll I’ll certainly think on it but I’m not sure what it would actually tell us that we don’t already know and that’s that long term players have a whole load of excess currency.

Likely it’ll be in a mystery box for clams, which I’m cool with as I have 1065 freemium clams with nothing to buy (most event characters are boring and overpriced). I just hope they don’t include the junk event buildings or decorations, and that the chars are a reasonable price… like 50 to 100 clams max.

Some new floors to Tan Lines would be nice to complement the addition of all previous characters. Once I get everyone to max level, they get moved to Tan Lines.
This is a good addition to the game. It would be nice to be able to finish some sets. The recent Gold Suit Brian was one that had to be the most expensive character ever (with having to complete those dumb stamp sets)!

Just curious, but why bother max-levelling the characters? I just level them enough to unlock all of their character actions, which is usually like Level 5 or something, and then I store them. I don’t need the XP or the coins, so I don’t see any advantage to max-level anyone.

I do this too and for me, it’s all about completionism! … plus it adds an added goal to achieve while playing each event, honestly why not? 💁🏻♂️
I see it as I’m going to check the game every 4 hrs because of whatever event is happening anyway, why not put that new character on their corresponding task and kill two birds with one stone. 🤷🏻♂️

I would love to get the missing WWE Characters like Roman Reigns and Triple H from the WrestleMania in Dallas event. I suppose that there will be licensing issues, though.

Rufus! (Quahog’s Excellent Adventure) I missed him by 20 minutes when the event ended. I had the last item I needed ready to drop, but logged in just after the event ended, so I missed claiming him. And I really liked George Carlin; he will be missed. ☹️

I hope they keep at least 90% of it freemium and premium purchases require only clams and not actual cash or that “reward card” nonsense.
as for content, I have no preference on who i’d like to see return as long as it is achievable in the time we’re given… oh, maybe Black Jesus.

Maybe a chance to use our Stewie Bucks? One can only hope, but I doubt it – us using earned Stewie Bucks would not generate income for TC/JC…maybe a combo of Stewie Bucks and clams to encourage clam purchases?
At the end of the day, my best guess is just clams, hopefully at a bit of a discount…

Awesome feature but I wish for TC/JC to also release old event buildings and decos besides characters and skins. The one event I’ve got hardly nothing is the first ever event they had released which was the Egyptian event where Cleveland was introduced for the first time.
I’d also like to have hub area event buildings in which TC/JC never released before such as 207’s “A Very Griffin Holo-Ween” event, 2016’s “Greek Life” event & 2016’s “Peter’s Prehistoric Park” event.
Please, please, please TC/JC – I don’t know how many times I suggested you this over and over again – release past event’s buildings & decos including those from the respective hub areas.

Buildings and decos don’t matter much to me, but I see they do matter to you and that’s cool- we all have favorite things from this game. I’m curious about how we might “earn” them. In using that verbiage it sounds more like quests and tasks than a purchase? However if it IS a purchase, I hope it is not just real cash ( or those RIDICULOUS stamp sets, or even clams. I hope there is an opportunity to spend the coins we’ve all been accumulating or perhaps Stewie bucks. Like many have suggested – a million coins or say a few gold Stewie bucks for a character like Kahn from the original trek collection. I’d spend that – no brainer!

I’d be happy see something similar to Stewie Bucks, may take time to get what you need but keeps it freemium, you put in the time you get the stuff
