Game crashing on older devices, and those with older/outdated software continues, it may be they can no longer handle the game. What I can tell you is if your device runs on 2gb of ram you may struggle with crashing, if it has less than 2gb ram it probably won’t run at all.

Here are the items you can unlock this week:

Cost ~ 200 Love Potions
Ye Scoused Mackerel: Chance Drop of 2 Gold Coins every 8hrs
Cost ~ 250 Love Potions

Dog girls

When you start the part 2 of the main Questline you will trigger these in your Quahog. You will have to wait for them to appear before you can battle them and have one of the following characters available, Juliet Lois and/or Romeo Peter/or Friar Quagmire.
Battling these is similar to the battles you’ve done in previous events, there’s honestly nothing we’ve seen before. You will find the them wandering your sidewalks, you can either find them by looking or if you have a big decorated town use the Squatter Button. When they appear, tapping on one will bring you up the Defeat The Dog Girls screen, which gives you all the battle information.
I’ve simplified the information from that screen below.
Opponent Stats:
Dog Girl: 8 Health Points, 4 Damage Hit, Undisclosed chance of knockout
Characters you can use stats (you can select 2):
Juliet Lois ~ 8 Health Points, 4 Damage Hit, 40% Chance knockout, Heal time 7hrs
Romeo Peter ~ 12 Health Points, 4 Damage Hit, 20% Chance knockout, Heal time 7hrs
Apothecary Quagmire ~ 8 Health Points, 4 Damage Hit, 60% Chance knockout, Heal time 7hrs
And remember if you send in more than one character to attack, which I recommend if possible, the damage they do will be split across them. So if you’ve 2 characters fighting her she will hit each for 2 damage instead of 4, unless she misses or does a knockout blow then the damage will vary.
The rewards you get will depend on whether you only damage her, this is counted as a defeat, or if you fully kill her, this is a success. Remember any damage you do to her will stay until you attack her again.
DEFEAT/ROUND Payout:
Nothing
SUCCESS Payout:
15 Love Potions (Always)
1 Rejection Letter (Always)
2 Collars (Always)
Cost To Battle: 1 Dog Treat
Now another point worth mentioning about your character’s Health healing it only starts to heal once it hits 0, so if you’ve 4/8 Health it will NOT go back up to 8/8 over time, it will only start to restore once you’re at 0/8. You can restore your character’s Health instantly but it costs at least 64 Clams, so I don’t advise it.
Romantic Thug

When you start Part 2 of the main Questline you will trigger him in your Quahog. You will have to wait for him to appear before you can battle him and have one of the following characters available, Juliet Lois and/or Romeo Peter/or Friar Quagmire.
Battling him is similar to defeating the Dog Girls., he’s just tougher to defeat but dishes out higher rewards.
You will find him wandering your sidewalks you can either find him by looking or if you have a big decorated town use the Squatter Button. When he appears tapping on him will bring you up the Defeat Romantic Thug screen, which gives you all the battle information.
But I’ve simplified the information from the Attack screen below..
Opponent Stats:
Romantic Thug: 16 Health Points, 16 Damage Hit, Undisclosed chance of knockout
Characters you can use Stats (you can select 2):
Juliet Lois ~ 8 Health Points, 4 Damage Hit, 40% Chance knockout, Heal time 7hrs
Romeo Peter ~ 12 Health Points, 4 Damage Hit, 20% Chance knockout, Heal time 7hrs
Apothecary Quagmire ~ 8 Health Points, 4 Damage Hit, 60% Chance knockout, Heal time 7hrs
And remember if you send in more than one character to attack, which I recommend if possible, her damage will be split across them. So if you’ve 2 characters fighting her she will hit each for 6 damage instead of 12, unless she misses or does a knockout blow then the amount damage will vary.
The rewards you get will depend on whether you only damage her, this is counted as a defeat, or if you fully kill her, this is a success. Remember any damage you do to her will stay until you attack her again.
DEFEAT/ROUND Payout:
Nothing
SUCCESS Payout:
50 Love Potions (Always)
15 Kisses (Chance)
Cost To Battle: 2 Rejection Letters
Now another point worth mentioning about your character’s Health healing it only starts to heal once it hits 0, so if you’ve 4/8 Health it will NOT go back up to 8/8 over time, it will only start to restore once you’re at 0/8. You can restore your character’s Health instantly but it costs at least 64 Clams, so I don’t advise it.
Magic frogs

These are the little baddies this week of the event and are quite simple to deal with, it’s just more of the tap, aim and fire we’ve seen in previous events. Before you can clear them you’ll need to get a Kiss, you’ll get them here:
Get from Herbert Herbert Send Out Valetine’s Cards, Bonnie Give Joe a Gift, Mort Mark Up Candy Prices, Apothecary Quagmire Develop Alternatuve Medicine, Clearing Romantic Thug
Once you have a Kiss you will will find the them wandering your sidewalks, you can either find them by looking or if you have a big decorated town use the Squatter Button. When they appear, tapping on one will bring you up the targeting screen. Simply move the kiss until the green target circle is on a Magic Frog to clear it.
I am seeing up to a maximum of 5 in my game.
The event rewards for clearing them is as follows:
Per Viral Tiger Cleared
5 Love Potions (Always)
1 Backstabbing Knife (Always)
There you have the overall basics to get you started through this week of the latest event. Where are you so far? Anything particular you like the most? Suggestions or tips to fellow players? Let us know.

In my game the dog bones show as “chance”. the drop on these is really bad- 3 characters for 8 hours each and it looks like I get 1 bone per day This seems like a repeat of the last 2 events where you couldn’t get characters (like Winter Meg” ) because the drops are so bad. Am I the only one having that issue?

No, the drops are poo

Your post says that dog bones are “common”, but in my game, they are listed as “uncommon”. I have only received one, and I’m a player with free time so I can log in on time to collect my stash and put my characters back to work.
Will the fact that my game lists them as uncommon cause me to earn less dog bones?
The game is so much fun now and I’d hate to lose out!!

They are uncommon, sorry I neglected to change that. So your game is fine.
