Is there any benefit to defeating the two headed mutant after you have the play swords for young Chris? I have the last five hacksaws but just don’t see the point.

Only to get Pills if you need them, but they are easy to get from Drag Racers

Not getting stars to drop. Sucks waiting 8 hours and then nothing.

I agree. Three times to only get two stars from a single successful drop means this is going to take a long time.

Especially when the buildings we really need are the third and especially the fourth ones. Best case for me, if I get stars each time going forward, is Friday night to get the last building, then grind and hope for reasonably consistent drops. I think they did it this way purposely to put the brakes on us.

it’s a common drop so should drop about 1 in 2, or at best 2 in 3.
annoying tho when only 1 building (or character) drops a key item and you have to wait 8 hrs for a ‘chance’ drop. anything over 6hrs should be an always drop.
for me i’ve had 4 stars from 4 drops – thats 2 stars on drops 1 and 4, but nothing on drops 2 and 3.

90 minutes into the event and I am on Part 6 already — FFremium. I love this event!

Have to ask, but if you get get through an entire weeks worth of content, why bother playing? If you don’t mind me asking, what do you do the other 6 days of the week? It doesn’t seem like there is anything to do until the next week starts.
Also, these posts aren’t helping anyone with strategy or pointing out issues or problems in the game. It’s just outright bragging that you have FF and others don’t.

Yeah, he never posts anything helpful – it’s either bragging or complaining. The sad thing about the bragging is that nobody even cares in the slightest, especially as it doesn’t require any skill at all to just watch dozens of ads to skip through events. He even “boasted” the other day that he’s playing this game on two devices now, while we all scratch our heads and wonder why anyone would want to do that instead of playing something else.

From a freemium perspective how did you amass gold stars in 90 minutes? I’ve played this game from its beginning and took about a year off so just getting back to it so maybe I missed something.

I managed to get to part 6 today (Thursday). I did use quite a few fast forwards to get there. The questline is actually pretty easy for the most part. It will still take a good amount of time to unlock the last two buildings and the character.
Sometimes you can unlock the character way ahead of the questline being complete, however this week it is just the opposite. Hopefully this means that everyone will have a pretty easy time of it as well.
I managed to get a 4x streak on the two headed monster and that was enough action toy drops for Kid Chris. It seems a complete 5x sweep isn’t necessary.

Because he uses the fast forward function to an extreme, plus the fact he lives in the USA, which to me is always an advantage as the events drop mid afternoon over there, while like in Europe it is usually early evening.

I’m not normally one to silence anyone, and I certainly don’t begrudge anyone their personal enjoyment via this game…but does it really help to brag on how fast you’re getting through tasks, using a feature many of us don’t have? If you are getting done so quickly, why not step up and help the rest of us out with hints, tips, &c? RT does a great job in her own right, but the more the merrier I say.
