Summer Stroke Phase 2 Overview

We’ve had lots of weird moments in the game in the years gone by, and now it’s time for some more as Summer Stroke comes to Quahog.

Version Android 3.0.1 – IOS 3.0.1

No button to access mini game, you need to use the event button to access it, you’ll find more information by clicking HERE!!!

Event buildings are sometimes locked for random players, only TinyCo can fix this so let them know through your game support.

Clam award loop – doesn’t effect play but please let support know if is happening in your game.

Game crashing on older devices, and those with older/outdated software continues, it may be they can no longer handle the game. What I can tell you is if your device runs on 2gb of ram you may struggle with crashing, if it has less than 2gb ram it probably won’t run at all.

There’s 3 ways to do this, The first and best way is through your game main menu, select Help & Support and then tap ‘Contact Us’.

Go to their website and use the ‘Contact’ button:

However if neither of these are possible, then you can contact support via email. The email address to use is –

Two-Headed mutant

This Boss will trigger as soon as you start phase 2 of the event. This is your Main Boss this week. You will “Fight” him with Hacksaws to defeat him to the highest level possible and obtain the most prizes.

But as I say first you’ll need some Hacksaws, you’ll find them here:

Hacksaws (Common) –  Get from Carter Drive A Golf Cart, Brian Stick His Tongue Out, Working Squirrel Make A Presentation, Star Statue

You’ll see him wandering your sidewalks with a timer above his head.

Simply tap him and you’ll see the level requirement trade and rewards. Collect the hacksaws necessary for the battle then hit, eh, “Fight“.

Here is the general breakdown of cure costs and rewards.

1X – Requires 1 Hacksaw
Rewards – 10 Pills & 1 Action Toy

2X – Requires 2 Hacksaws
Rewards – 20 Pills & 2 Action Toys

3X – Requires 3 Hacksaws
Rewards – 30 Pills & 4 Action Toys

4X – Requires 4 Hacksaws
Rewards – 40 Pills & 8 Action Toys

5X – Requires 5 Hacksaws
Rewards – 50 Pills & 12 Action Toys

You have 24hrs to hit him to the  highest level you can before he will rest (cool down). His cool down is 2 hours.

Please note when he returns he will be back at 1x unless you’ve used clams to wake him at the level he went into cool down at.

Drag racers

These little baddies continue this week of the event and are quite simple to deal with, it’s just more of the tap, aim and fire you dud last week.

As usual will find they wander your sidewalks, you can find them by looking  there or using the Squatter Button.

Before you can clear them you’ll need to get Oil. Once you have this head to your sidewalks and simply tap one of them to bring up the targeting screen. Then move the oil until the green target circle is on one, then simply hit the check mark to clear it.

I am seeing up to a maximum of 8 in my game.

The event rewards for clearing them is as follows:

Per Drag Racer Cleared:
1 Car Perfume (Chance)
10 Pills (Chance)

Bubble hunt MINI-GAME

You’ll still need to play this to get Rabbit Cages and complete the main Questline, so don’t forget about it.

The rewards you get will vary on how many you destroy at a time.

Per Bubble Destroyed:
1 Oil (Chance)

There you have the overall basics to get you started through this week of the latest Event. Where are you so far? Anything particular you like the most? Suggestions or tips to fellow players? Let us know.

  1. Is will I be able to get Chris still after phase 2 if I havnt finished him?

    • RussianTigger

You won’t be able to progress past Phase 2 until you unlock Kid Chris, so you’ll stay in Phase 2, but once the event ends you won’t be able continuing unlocking him

  2. the last two rewards, for the two-headed mutant, are for 4 Hacksaws it is 8 Action Toys, for 5 Hacksaws is 12 Action Toys

  3. At least in my game, the mutant 4x streak paid out 8 action toys, and 5x pays out 12. But only 4x is necessary to get all the required toys.

  4. Question for anyone who would like to answer, or give their two cents: I got all the toy swords I needed for kid Chris in one, or two goes, because I waited to have a little bit of a stockpile, and I only attacked the monster when it was needed for the questline. Now that I have all of the material I need from the monster, as of now, is it better for me to stockpile those items, or switch the characters that have bullet getting actions back to those actions? I don’t know whether to keep collecting the saws or go back to the bullets with those characters. What is everyone else doing? Thanks for the information here, provided by other folks, I know that Herbert and Tom have bullet getting actions as well, but I wanted someone else’s input. Thank you very much.

My gut feeling is we won’t need Hacksaws in the final phase, I’ve put characters on to bullets

    • As I seem to remember in previous events they have introduced a new main boss, so if this event follows suit the hacksaw will only be of use to collect pills which doesn’t seem to be that much of an issue, as you can get them from a lot of other sources.

  5. It’s a minimum 32 hours to get a building that drops anything for Kid Chris, and that’s assuming the star building doesn’t “miss” any drops. But hey, they helpfully made the second building drop oil cans, which were already easy to get. Not to mention the candy building is the last one (another 16 hours minimum) and that’s the only way to get the candy, bar one random 8-hour task. Everything else seems pretty reasonable to obtain, but I feel a deliberate slowdown from the developers.

  6. Mr. Herbert drops bullets now. 6HR task at a Chance drop.
