WTD – it seems difficult to complete this week and unlock Tuxedo Chris without dropping hundreds of clams on speeding up healing between battles, buying additional characters to help battle sharks and the nun, or buying Tuxedo Chris outright before the event ends

Yeah, same here. I’ve accrued 3105 clams, but I have no interest in wasting them on Flower Girl Stewie or Catholic Priest just because they made it impossible.

I blew my clams on the characters to finish it. Annoying!

I ended up missing out – I decided a costume I’ll never see or use ever again wasn’t worth bothering with or wasting my clams on.
I don’t actually know what I’m saving my clams *for* as I rarely like the random event characters, and am usually disappointed when I buy them only to find they’re often not useful throughout an entire event.

Impossible event if you haven’t bought Flower Stewie. The complete reliance on Bachelor Brian for clearing sharks and the Nun is a total joke. The last building should drop Holy Water, and not jackets that we don’t even need by the time it’s unlocked (I have 34 out of 21). I don’t know if I’ll be able to defeat the Nun even once, let alone 3 times!!

I hate that every time they push out an iOS update they manage to break something. A change in the 3.9.0 update causes the game to hang upon completion of the fetch all gold from the QHS. The more characters being collected, the longer the hang. With about 10 characters it freezes for a few seconds. With hundreds of characters it freezes a few minutes.

Given that Jam City just keeps giving us the same 2 types of game play….You’d think they could put some actual time into making sure it works well. The last 2 events both had huge bottle necks that could be easily fixed if thought about for 5 minutes before releasing the update.

This really I s the dumbest event that they’ve had lately. One character to fight the main guys for the items you need. 8hr tasks for chocolate bars. What company wants their users to only check in for 5 mins twice a day? Entire goal is to force pay to play

Anyone else having their game freezing when claiming free clams AND replacing characters for gold?? It’s constant and driving me insane. I’ve deleted and reloaded with no effect.
