I got lucky. My game kept crashing each time I started a fight with any of the characters. When I reopened the app, my characters lost energy, but the fight never happened. I contacted support and they gave me 30 clams and set all enemies to only have one health point. It only worked on the first fight with nun, but it was a big help.

same as others, im down to needing the last few teeth (2) and holy water (2) but i only have Brian to fight both of those characters and, as of typing this, there is 7hrs before the event ends. Brian is currently on his 6h cool down after a 2nd fight with the nun bringing her down to 2HP.
In 6hrs time then I need to decide whether to fight a shark or finish off the nun but either way unless they extend the event tuxedo chris looks like he’s a no-go for me.

still need 4 sharks, so better off spending the 72 clams to get Tuxedo Chris and get 35 clams back for the Facespace (and maybe additional 5 clams if I can finish the questline)

I bought Flower Girl Stewie early on and need 2 Gold Teeth to finish unlocking Tuxedo Chris, should be able to clear one more Mr Shark before event end tomorrow morning which means ill have to spend 18 clams to finish unlocking Chris with 1 gold tooth remaining.

No chance at finishing the questline or collecting for Chris. I inquired with support if they actually consider the requirements. I mean you need to defeat the nun 3 times to collect for Chris but then to aide in defeating the nun you can use Chris? Not well thought out. They did lower everyone’s level to 1 that was walking around my game so I can defeat them in one battle but with the long heal time it was to little to late.

I have Stewie from the previous week (premium character). Even so him and Brian together are both one shot knockout by the nun, so it still takes 2 tries.
I still need to clear one more shark as well. Looks like I’m not getting Chris. Way too much for one character (Brian) to do this week.
On the bright side, I did get the 500 clam bonus. I was locked out of my game for pretty much all of January.

Got Tuxedo Chris late Tuesday afternoon and will finish the questline in 4 hours. But, I bought Flower Girl Stewie last week, and without him, there would be absolutely no way to finish this week. Even with buying a premium character, it was still a slog, and will finish with only 12 hours to spare. No way without spending clams.

No way I’ll finish Tuxedo Chris – the downtime to heal Brian as the only fighter is killing me. Right now I’m hoping that I can take down the Nun one more time to get the 3 required holy water to earn the gold coins for completing that requirement. Without being able to complete Chris, I shifted to maximizing my completion of categories so to get the gold coins when the event ends. It’s too bad because it would have been an easy completion if I had purchased Flower Girl Stewie or the Priest, but I couldn’t justify that kind of money to unlock a costume for Chris and not an independent character. Oh well, they have consistently made the 3rd week character to be the one that separates the freemium with the clam-spending player. At least the drops were far more reasonable this go around.

I need 2 gold teeth and defeat the nun 2 more times. I will defeat her once more today as her health is at 2. I used clams to buy Flower Girl Stewie from the gift of 500 clams in hopes it might help, but not much. It’s ridiculous that Brian is the only character available to battle.

Well, I am sad to report that this is the first event (I think since I started playing), that I have simply stopped trying. 😦 It was obvious that I would not get Chris, regardless of whether I used Fast Forward, since the Heal times for Brian would virtually guarantee I could not beat the Shark and Nuns enough times.

No chance of getting Tuxedo Chris. These heal times are so long and with only Brian to fight sharks and nuns, I’ll run out of time.

I will finish the eliminating of sharks today and then work on the nun three times. Do we have any confirmation on the precise ending of the event? I don’t think I will make it even if the event concludes on March 4 but I will be closer with the extra day. As has been the case recently, it is just a costume so the priority is lessened than a chance to get a full character. I worked Brian every six hours since this phase launched and will only be close but not completed. One more freemium helper would have made this a more fair task.

I currently need 6 Gold Teeth and 1 Holy Water. I have 1 Mr. Shark Suit at 4/12 and the Unholy Nun is at 10/18.
With Brian as the only fighter for each of these (unless one were to buy the Catholic Priest or Flower Girl Stewie) I don’t think you’re unlocking Tuxedo Chris without spending some clams.

Just finished phase 2 with 18 hours to go! Phase 1 completed in less than 7 days but the phase 2 contests are so under resourced. So badly designed. Huge clam costs to accelerate healing renders that not an option. Using the same characters for all 3 contests is just dumb. Having to win 3 contests to generate the objects to enable one attempt at another contest us even dumber! Oh dear we didn’t win so another 2 days plus disappears generating objects for another go. Oh and the losing character isn’t out of power that’s too many clams to heal, so guaranteedcto lose next contest, so another 2 days disappear. Its just pathetic. Hope next game is better designed.

I seldom purchase characters and rarely costumes. However for this event I liked and purchased the Catholic Priest. This purchase made the event enjoyable for me and I was able to complete the event Sunday..
I did not get the 500 clams that many players mention receiving nor do I have fast forward. If I hadn’t purchased the Catholic Priest I think that getting Tuxedo Chris probably would have been impossible.

No chance of unlocking Chris, but will clear the nuns as 90 clams each and then clear as many sharks as possible as these are only 18 clams each. I will have to decide wether to buy him out or not at about 72/90 clams.

You’ll get 35 Clams back for completing Facespace set if you do get him to a low buy Out level

Unfortunately, since Bachelor Brain is only free character to be able to take down Shark (take two tries) and Nun (3 tries), I won’t be able to get Tuxedo Chris and complete this phase. You need 10 gold teeth and 3 Holy water which means 29 Bachelor Brian attacks. At 6 hours apart for healing, that would require 7+ days minimum.

I’ve been taking the Unholy Nun down in 2 fights. Bachelor Brian usually gets in a double strength hit in at least once.
