Quardi Gras – End of Event Feedback Page

Welcome to the latest new end of event feedback page. where today I’m asking you to tell me what you thought about the event, the characters, costumes, buildings, drops, questlines, glitches. Basically here’s the page where you can tell us everything and anything you want to feedback to Jam City, just keep it PG.

***And remember the event is ending today, the 31sr March, at 8am PDT (UTC 3pm)*** However the Timer, which is often more accurate says 10am so you might get a few extra hours but this is not guaranteed)

Remember you can say more than you simply liked or disliked the event, such as commenting on the format, the content, what material drops held you back or irked you, what character or costume you’re mad you missed out on, or even which you weren’t fussed about getting. You can share with Jam City how glitches impacted your play, or even how support dealt with any issues you had, such as did they help you get back on track or did they fail to help you at all. Basically any thoughts you share here will be passed to Jam City.

  1. Started phase 3 on time but could not complete because Robot was routinely missing for hours on end. The game is hard enough due to so few characters working on multiple inter connected tasks without this stupidity!

  2. Having to force close and restart the game EVERY SINGLE TIME that I clear out the Historical Society building has really gotten old at this point. Drop rates continue to be a problem (especially on the final weeks of these longer events). The untimed characters is a plus, though.

    • While my game does PAUSE for a few minutes when doing this, it never needs to be force closed. Have you tried waiting longer to see if it eventually comes back to life? On my iPhone X, it takes 2-3 minutes (YMMV), during which everything freezes (character movement and flying trophies), then it is all fine again. I just put the phone down for a couple of minutes while that happens.

      • On my Galaxy S10+ it just locks up. After some time I get the option to wait or close. Waiting does nothing. Eventually I just have to force close and restart. Sometimes multiple times if the Historical Society didn’t fully clear before the lock.

  3. I’m really glad that they reduced the number of crowns needed by half. The paper drops were really low. I spent $5 for the VIP pass and was pleasantly surprised that one of the decorations dropped beads. Overall a decent event.

  4. When you have gathered all items you need for event, when the showgirls or backup dancers are no longer of value for the questline, why keep them around? Since they slow down the game, how difficult would it be to simply add a “clear active npcs” button when you have completed what you want from the event? There could even be an “are you sure?” question added to to make sure people know when they click yes the event is definitely gone. Thoughts?

I think it’s an idea but they probably wouldn’t bring it in incase folk accidentally deleted them. But I agree they slow some players game down to virtually unplayable

  5. Eh, it was OK. I ended up with dozens of showgirls wandering around my Quahog. It was difficult to get backup dancers or the evil clown. And so many drums needed to earn a building. I really wanted Joe but after 3 attempts I gave up.

  6. It took a few goes to get the Clown to appear but I appreciate that it was just one character in each week. Seemed quite attainable.
