Omg help…….just woke up this morning and my game has started from the beginning (opening scene)……I was on level 43 and spent 120 real dollars! Any suggestions what I can do?

Double check and make sure it did not log you out of the game. If you are unsure…you can try some basics. Restart your device and see if it brings back your town. If not, you can play the “new game” til you unlock Chris and have him hold the antennae…at that point the menu will open and you should be able to log in under the same info you logged in with before. Like your Facebook or email. If you can’t log in, contact TinyCo and help@tinyco.com and send them your login ID (name for FB or email address) and what happened along with any info you remember about your town.

Can someone please help me to get my game working on both my iPad and iPhone? I have been playing for a while and a level 21. I have been playing on my iPad and have never linked this to my iPad accont, but do have a Game Center account that always comes up and says “Welcome !@#$!@” when I log in. I decided I needed some friends so added my facebook account today, yet every time I try to visit a friend my game crashes. I thought maybe it would work better on my iPhone so tried to download this onto my iPhone. When I do and try to log into my Facebook account it says that this account already has a game at level 21 and that if I log into this account then I will delete my level 21 game. Please help! I really want to be able to visit friends and have that aspect of this work.

It sounds like your game is already linked to the Game Center ID. There may be an issue with trying to now switch it to Facebook link instead. My best suggestion is to contact TinyCo. If you can, do it from the device you can log into your game with and go through the menu itself so they can see the game you have been playing. If you have issue with the Menu, then just email them. Give them all your info and ID (like email or log in name you use). Let us know how it goes.

Yes, you’ll just need to create accounts for both games (you can do it via email addresses…and it’s what i recommend for it as well). You’ll just have to switch between the games via the menu button. 🙂

Is there an option to change the settings for clam spending so I stop accidently using clams to speed up tasks?

A little popup should appear automatically confirming it. It asks if you want to spend clams to finish the task.

As far as I know, no. Once a Facebook is linked to an account there’s no way to un-link it.

Hi,
I’m having the same problem as Jaenulia on May 13, game just shows loading screen for a couple of seconds then crashes out to desktop. Now and again i get the FAQ screen, but I haven’t been able to play the game all day. I’m on ios. I haven’t created an account but I did log in to Facebook from the ‘other quahog’ screen – does this mean my quahog will have been saved? I daren’t try to reinstall the app until I know this!

Hi Maybe this has been asked, But What exactly does hooking then playing with friends on Facebook do for us/the game.
Id like to know the risk / reward for doing so.
Also will it work with a separate Facebook account just set up for this game and this games players only ?
Has anyone done this with success, i thought i saw here someone that did but was unable to verify friends, and the danger with doing the wrong thing is that once linked,, “that’s it” the game is linked forever to that Facebook acct.

It’s the social aspect of the game. Allows you to visit other Quahogs. Also, more chances for random clams. However, you can only visit 20 neighbors a day.

Every time i want to access to my facebook account i get the next error message: ‘There was a problem getting permission to use your %1% account. Please visit your device’s %1% settings and ensure Family Guy is enabled’
I have no idea what %1% is. In any case, i enable the game to access to all my cell phone info (iphone 4s). I don’t know what to do
Hope someone can help me. I’m level 29 and i don’t want to loose all my data by uninstalling it – installing it.

HELP!! I purchased TWO Le Croissant Degoutant’s by mistake. The extra one is almost finished building. Usually when you need something to unlock a character and you’re already building it, it will take you to the one being built. But when I was clicking through the “stuff” that Brian needs to unlock, it just took me to the shopping cart to buy Le Croissant again. Did I just mess up or was it supposed to show me the one being built when I clicked on it under Brian so I wouldn’t buy it again?

So I got a new phone and signed in to my Facebook account on the game so I could continue playing from the level I was in with my old phone but it won’t load. The bar at the bottom fills up but it doesn’t go anywhere.

When I try to sign in using my email address, as it’s loading it comes up with the Consuela icon and says “Load Error – called configReady while player is Loaded”. It does this on whichever device I try it on and hasn’t been affected by uninstalling and reinstalling. Any help would be great, thanks.

I saw the pop up you are talking about. I am unsure if it is not recognizing the email or password. My best suggestion is to contact TinyCo and see if there is an underlying issue. If you can’t access them from your menu to contact, then email them.

I broke my phone and am trying to load my old game on my new phone. When I back up from Facebook it then goes to the loading screen where the yellow bar loads to the end then sits there and won’t open my town. Any fixes? I’ve tried un installing multiple times.

About those Mexican workers.. I took advantage of the deal to buy a 2nd one and from what im reading, seems you can send them both on a task so it takes half the time? If this is true, I have no idea how to do it because when I tap on the mexican house, it only offers me to buy another one and when I tap on the construction site, it only offers me to fork over gold clams to finish early. What am I missing here?

I’ve been playing for awhile and last night I tried Facebook and It started over. How do I retrieve the original setting where I was at? I tried signing on different acct but it don’t accept what I input. I’m using iPhone 4 and I hate to restart over I downloaded app from App Store

If you had an account already saved (with out Facebook) it might be trying to create a new town. Try the steps outlined in this post:
then when you go to visit friends (Ollie’s) try clicking connect to Facebook there. Hope that helps! 🙂

Question: I signed up for the game when ut was released on Android with my normal Facebook account. As I don’t want to mix gamers with my FB and RL friends, I created a new FB account: peter neoclassic. But when I want to add friends in the game, it only shows the FB friends from my normal account. How can I:
– add friends from another FB account?
– change my current game account to be linked/ registered to my new FB account without losing my game?

You will need to create another account as with Family Guy, once a Facebook is linked to a game there is no way to UNlink it. So you are kinda stuck with it. Sorry. I know in speaking with them they are looking at other options. My best suggestion is to actually message TinyCo with the dilemma you are running in to. The more response they get on the matter, the better. Just do it right from your game. Menu, Help & Support, Contact TinyCo. They are great at responding and love all the feedback we and our readers give them. The Main Director, Matt, is in constant contact with us and also reads the site here all the time. 😉

I was playing this morning and when I went to re-open the app it said there was an error signing me in. The game started all over and now I can’t seem to log back into me original game. I don’t play on antithetical devices and I’m on iOS.

Did you create an account? (using email or Facebook) That’s the best way to make sure you don’t lose your game. From the game itself, go through the intro part and get to the part in the game where you can see the menu button (dark blue square with 9 light blue squares). Tap that and go to accounts, from there just log into your game.
If you didn’t create an account, contact TinyCo and see if they are able to restore your game for you.

You have to clear your cache in order for it to be completely removed from your game. Uninstall the app, clear the cache & restart your device. That should do it.

I lost my police station. Was moving it to differentspot, must have done something wrong…using nook hd+. On level 23. Checked inventory and store…nada. advice?

Hmm there’s no way to delete it in the game. So it might just have glitched out on you. Do you see the cog wheels anywhere? Those usually mean that a graphic hasn’t loaded. Try hard closing your app (app manager, close app) and restart it. If you still don’t see it definitely contact TinyCo and let them know it disappeared on you.

I have been playing this game since day 1 and I love it. Only problem is I cant complete brokeback playground pt 2 – Herbert wants to declare his love. A tv screen pops up and rocks back and forth and nothing changes. Been like this for weeks and have no problems with any other character.

Just about one out of every three times I try to play the game I get the Data error message and I click okay multiple times and it still won’t work. What is going on with the game? Also, I use an Android ZTE phone.

I have accumulated a little money in Google wallet by taking some of their surveys they put out with the rewards app. Do you know If purchases made on TQFS run through the play store and if so would it take from my credit first before billing me?

Yes, it’ll go through the playstore. They’ll take the credit, but only if you have enough. Basically I live in NJ…sales tax is 7% here. So if I want to buy $99 worth of clams I have to have $106 in my account if using credit. If I only have a $100 GC in there it’ll charge my credit card and not take credits. Basically you can’t bill on 2 separate cards…either all on a credit card or all from Gift card.

Don’t know if this is the correct forum for help on this matter, but I’m having a problem accessing my friends. Since I had to create a fake account just for family guy, my player name is Coco New, every time I try to log into Facebook I’m unable to because Facebook is asking me to verify that I am real. I’m asked to verify friends on my list via pictures. Obviously I don’t know any of these people and since then I’ve made several attempts to get back into Facebook by guessing the names of the people in the pictures. Sigh……..this is very frustrating. Can anyone please help me?

Hmmm…that’s more a Facebook issue than anything. The only thing I would suggest is try accessing your profile from your OTHER Facebook account…you know to view it. See if you can see the friends list from there and then pull up who’s name matches which picture.

I have been getting the Consuela Connect Error, Could not connect to server message all day, is anyone else having this problem? Building something in district 7 that I started this morning and haven’t been able to get back on it since. I have a Nexus 4. I have closed the game, reloaded, restarted and nothing happens. I don’t want to uninstall in case I lose all my progress. Any suggestions?

If you have an account you shouldn’t lose your progress. But with this situation the best thing to do is to contact TinyCo. They can see if it’s an issue specific to your town or your device.

Have you tried some of the basic troubleshoot methods like hard closing your app and restarting it?
If so and you’re still having the problem your best bet is to contact TinyCo and let them know. It might just be an isolated glitch with your game.

Hey, I have been having issues all morning with the game. It seriously won’t load. The loading screen will open but then close itself withing 3 seconds, only occasionally going to the info page. I cannot get into my game, any ideas about how to fix it? Also I’m on IOS and don’t have an account and password.

Hmmmm, my concern is you do not have your account linked to anything. So the uninstall methods will risk losing all progress you made.
At this point just to more protect your game, I would say contact TinyCo via email due to you can’t get into your game. Include any information you possibly can from the game. Your level progress, money, clams, when issue started, device…etc. Let them know it is NOT synced to an account. If you have any Screenshots from the game too, those may help. They’re great at helping out the players. Let us know how it goes.

Hi, my wife has been playing FG:TQFS on here iPad since launch and today she installed it on her iPhone 5 for the first time, but she is constantly getting the ‘Data Error’ screen (the one with Consuela) and cannot get into the game at all, she has uninstalled/re-installed and updated but still gets the same screen 😦 has anyone else seen this or maybe has a solution? I would say if the basic troubleshooting is not resolving the issue, give TinyCo a contact. They are great at helping and can get into her game to see what is causing issue. In the meantime I will keep an eye out for any other trends like this with the update. Please keep me updated how it goes with TinyCo. I like to know how the players are being responded to.

Dude serious I kno the seashell n whip are “epic” but for literally 2 weeks hooker peter was been doing his 4 hour quest n The whip hasn’t dropped once but from the fire station a month ago! (only 2 ways get em) N the seashell consela has been doing her 12 hour task for slmost a month n only one has dropped from the lighthouse! N that’s the only 2 ways get it. I been doing the one quest for both those epic items 24/7 n I got one of each! Seriously? N I need 4! Wtf r the chances of a epic item to drop like .01%? Plz look into this if it’s a glitch n if it’s not that’s just rediculous to do same task for literally 2 weeks n not get one! Prolly done the hooker peter 4hr task 100 times! I have nothing to do but get 3 more of each those epic items n I’m not exaggerating. 24/7 for going on 3 weeks n not one of either! Someone told me they don’t drop to the quest comes up to make it ? But I had no quest come up for either murmaid peter or sm Lois. So I’m guessing they don’t got a quest line? I havnt had me quest in weeks. Just get 3 more of 2 different epic items n I’m going crazy w it! Seriously sny info at all ? Plz. I mean i go on every 2 hours to make mny n I collect from the fire station on 4 hours n joker peter every 4 24/7 n not one in slmost 3 weeks? If there was a 1 % chance u should have atleast 2 or 3. The items have to be needed by at least one character to create the drops. So no matter the outfit, if you have one unlocked and in progress that requires a whip or any item, then that feature is available.
If this is the case, you have the item unlocked and needed and believe you have a glitch, you really need to go into your game menu, help and support, and contact TinyCo. They can get into your game and see the issue where we can not.
Only TinyCo can fix a glitch.

I thought I was the only one. It’s been more than a week and I haven’t gotten a single whip yet. However, I was able to get the seashell in only 3 days. I’ve logged a message to tinyco support already. Maybe you should do the same. Assuming you’re playing 12 hours a day and cleared all the cows and only got 1, that’s a 2% chance.

The new costume isn’t really a costume that’s in the game yet. It’ll unlock when they add more districts to the game. For now think of it as Connie, Stewie etc. It’s just a place holder, until it’s updated in the game.
As far as the Golden Pool. On my Android device it’s there, but it’s locked. Meaning I can’t purchase it from Android.

Been cashing fire station and making peter find customers for almost a week, cleared all the cows also but still not a single whip. It’s been a whole week already so by my calculation, even if I get one on my next try, that’s like a 3% probability. When did epic items truly become so epic? I was able to get the horns for mermaid peter in only 3 days…
I’m on iOS. Anyone else have the same problem?

I’m getting a new phone soon but I’m worried I can’t transfer all my progress to my new phone . How can I save what I’ve done so I don’t have to start over . And as I can tell I have linked to Facebook and Google plus. But if I download the game on any other device I do not have my progress and it won’t let me link

I’d that happens all you have to do is play past the part where you unlock Chris. At this point you should see the menu button (blue box with 9 light blue boxes inside if it). Tap the menu button and log into your quahog via your Facebook or g+ account. 🙂

I wanted to take up the deal about buy one box of coins get a box of clams free, but whenever I click on the “buy box of coins” a popup comes up saying I clicked “tank of clams for $99.99”. all the others popup the right item except for the buy one get one, is this a bug or just something wrong with my tablet? This is a glitch on your end. Best bet for this is to contact TinyCo (via the in game option) and let them know what’s happening. They’ll be quick to resolve it since it’s involving a clam purchase. Hope that helps!

No level requirement. It’s a progress requirement. Once you’ve cleared pirates cove you’ll be prompted to unlock the civic center. At that point you’ll be able to get the police station

So, for the last three days I’ve been experiencing a time glitch on Family Guy Quest For More Stuff.
It’s only happening overnight. Tasks, buildings, and clearings aren’t progressing time wise. For example, a task I start before going to bed that takes 4 hours will say I still have 3 1/2 hrs left to complete 8 hours later. This is happening with everything in my game, not just one character or building.
Is anyone else experiencing this? How did you fix it?
(Sorry in advance if this is a question someone has already asked.)

What type of device are you using? (i know I should know this but I forget)
If you’re using Android, did you download the new update yesterday? That should fix the time glitch. If you did and it’s still happening, let me know so I can relay it to TinyCo. If you didn’t, try downloading the update and see if it helps.
If you’re on iOS…the update hasn’t hit that market yet. It should be hitting early next week (Monday/Tuesday). Once it does it should fix the time glitch issue.
In the meantime…if you’re still having the issue here’s the advice from TinyCo:
“minimizing the app and then force quitting should prevent the issue once they’re done playing”

You can’t right now. They’re showing but they aren’t unlocked yet. They’ll be unlocked with a future update from TinyCo. Right now it’s just a preview of what’s coming. 🙂

I’ve had the game for a while..on level 12, and have had no problem..however, I accidentally uninstalled the app, and when I reinstalled it, it started from the beginning. When I try to log into my account via the game menu, for Facebook, it tells me that there is already an existing account linked, and would I like to override it with the new game I just started(when I opened the “new” app)..Is there any way to continue from where I was before it got uninstalled?
