Not sure I am understanding what you are asking here. Can you provide a bit more details? WHAT Clams are you clicking on? The ones that randomly pop out in the game? The ones you want to buy in the menus? Where?

Yes. The ones that I’m supposed to be getting rewarded for tasks and from olliland. I’m clicking on them but its not giving me them. Haven’t bought any.

Interesting. You actually do not have to tap on them. The system will automatically collect them for you. If you do not see it doing so or the totals adding to your account, then you need to alert TinyCo so they can look into your game further.

I had downloaded the game on my phone and when I went to my ipad to try to get on my game it had started me over so I logged in with my Facebook like I had did before and it say I’m at level one but I want my old one back how do I retrieve it?!!!!!

Did you log in the EXACT same way you did on your phone? Like if you selected option of email, log into that EXACT email. Or if you have multiple Facebooks, make sure your device was logged into the Facebook linked to your FG Game before launching the app?

Previous already in the game Characters being added back. They cycle the top row of characters during events. Usually the latest ones from the event show up top. Then they filter them into the groups below. Many from Con were missing and they’re filtering them back in now along with ones from Halloween. It is on ongoing process as new characters and skins are always hitting the game.

So my game appears to be frozen. I open it up, there’s no loading screen and all that shows is the “Free Clams!” window. But I can’t press any of the buttons, not even the “x” at the right hand top corner. The music is playing and it appears that I can press on the houses behind the window to get coins and stuff. And I can hear the noise of them being collected, but I can’t move the screen at all. I’m on an I-phone and am level 32, I’d really like to not start over again.

I would suggest a force close of the app. That can usually be by tapping and holding the home button then swiping the app image of the screen or even through your applications manager. Each device varies, so I would suggest to confirm just what YOURS takes to do it.
As far as restarting the game…I would HIGHLY suggest linking your game to an email or Facebook. Especially if you are investing real life money in the game. It would be very wise to not just take a risk at losing all that by not making some kind of account to save your progress.

Has an item called “Bird-rassic Park” been released? I was changing one of the houses to Halloween decorations when it randomly appeared. It wasn’t clickable and disappeared when I moved the screen off and back onto it. I was just wondering if it was already released and I missed it or if it’s possibly a future release. Has anyone else seen it?

I’ve been playing since the 1st day, I did not log into fb or anything else.i lost my game.everything is gone. I have messaged the support many times with no reply.That number at the bottom on the screen , can it not identify the game. This has made me sick. I just want my stuff back.

Rebuilding a game can take time. And a lot of it. We saw this with the Facebook users that were reset to Level 1. It is a very time consuming process, but they were eventually back into their games. The BEST way to message them is one of two. help@tinyco.com or direct from your game. If you use the help email, always be as detailed as possible with as much info on the issue, game screenshots, player ID, anything that helps them track it. Those lines go right to tech.

i have a bit of a weird situation here.my boyfriend downloaded the game for me for my android and entered as a user with an old email of his.i did however connect my/his/our account with my facebook and email.so in a few words,the user of the game is his old email and the account is my email and facebook profile.the problem is that he doesn’t remember his password for his email account which ends at @gmail.com and no matter where i’ve tried to log in eg.outlook and recover the password it says it’s the wrong email.due to the fact that i’ve sent an email to the technical support for some troubleshooting i’ve had with carl,even if they send a response i will not be able to get the email cause i can’t log in to that email account.so my question is: can i alter my user email putting one of my own instead of his without losing my game progress nor starting a new user-game?i would really appreciate help in this.

The game is linked to a specific account, in order to get into it…you need to use that same exact way to log in. If you are having issues, email them from an alternate email address and explain the situation. Any screenshots or information you have from the game would help. Be as detailed as possible.

So question.,, my husband and I both had the same glitch. When you changed Quagmires house from normal to halloween themed all of a sudden behind the Griffin house a stones in square appeared that said Bird-Rassic Park.. Anyone experience this? Is this a hint of what’s to come?! Definitely interesting! We took a photo of it, and glad we did because now it’s not glitching with it.

Reward the same rate but if you don’t tap immediately after you’ll see the option to try again or just buy the item outright. Same with the character if you tap them then the item. Option to just buy the item. May be cheaper.

Yuck, 15 clams for the pink to do list. The reason i asked is i have a little under 3 days left and I have only 2 collected. I can send 4 people out to try to get it each time. I set an alarm to know when each will be done and those pink pads are not coming. I was hoping just a couple clams to hurry the task might make it possible to get the pad. But if your saying its same rate of getting it. Forget it. I dont want to spend clams on nothing(which is what im getting) you are filled with such wonderful ideas, do you have any for me?

Try up to the last minute sending them on same task over n over then if it gets too close…decide if its worth it to YOU to spend precious clams.

As long as you have your account saved to an email or Facebook, then it is just a matter of logging into the game.

hey sorry to bother you I have contacted tinyco aready hope I get a answer but the problem is I can sign in to my google account from the tablet when I try it signs me in with out typing in any think no I have a gmail account with google now is it the same a google+? on my it does not have sign in as some one else it has change user? when I try to sign in wih google a little family guy screen pops up and shows google play games but not my game? thanks for any and all help

It all comes down to how you originally created the account. You have to sign back in that exact way. If you have auto links set up in your device, and take Gmail or Facebook option but it’s NOT same account used for game…it won’t log you into the correct one

Many players have 3, 4, or even 5 Facebook accounts. A lot have one specifically for the game only as they do not want strangers on their personal profiles.
The same goes for email accounts. Many people use several.
When you select the option to “Log In” to an account, the game is going to link to the one YOUR device is currently logged into. So if that is NOT the one you set up the account with, you need to exit the app, log OUT of the wrong account, Log back into the right account, THEN relaunch Family Guy.
So if YOUR device is logged into Terrance Facebook, but you used another name…like John Doe Facebook to sign up…you need to have John Doe Facebook logged into your device BEFORE you try to launch the Family Guy game and log in.

What email option did you use? Sign into email or tapping the Gmail link? Also what email did you use when you signed in on that device? Is it the same one and exact same way you’re doing it now.

I used my gmail but when I try signing in it pops up a page that has tinyco then the family guy game would like to have offline access then two buttons cancel or accept

So…the app requirements? You will need to accept them to download the app. ALL apps have some kind of requirements you have to accept. Just follow what it asks for and sign in EXACTLY like you did on your other device. If you tapped email, then do that again. If you tapped Gmail, then do that again. Everything…EXACT same. If you are unsure at any point, you need to reach out to them.

No. Game progress is not impacted. It only stores all items available to store. A few will remain like Griffins and workers house.

Lvl 27 side loading on my BlackBerry Q10 via amazon app store I’ve uninstalled and re installed many times ever since haloween add on ended now the game loads and just freezes then closes every time!

Very odd. It sounds like you did the basics of troubleshooting. I usually clear cache/data, unistall, restart device, reinstall, then relaunch. If that didnt work for you, please email them for further support. help@tinyco.com

When I open the game the settings menu appears but won’t let me close it or select an option. I’m at max level but didn’t save to FB or email (…I know… My own fault) don’t have my player ID. Can I do anything to fix it???

Hi, I just went into the account info page and tried to log my account in on my Google account as well as my fb one. An hour later and it still seems to be frozen. Im only level 21 but does it normally take this long to load up or has it glitched on me?

I have spent countless hours over many months, a lot of money throughout in-app game purchases, and I wanted to download this on my iPad as well. When I did this, it said that I only have level 1 “saved” via my Facebook account. I never “saved” anything, and when I went back into my iPhone app for the game, it started everything at the beginning ALL OVER AGAIN. Bye-bye level 36, bye all of my clam-purchased items (i.e. Country Club, Consuela, Cleveland, etc.) That’s all GONE. How do I get my game back???????????!!!!!!!! I sent in a complaint to the App Store, and I have a ticket number, but is the any HOPE of getting this back??? Help.

If it is saved to an email or Facebook, it shouldn’t. I switch between games all the time on multiple devices. Logging in n out each time. Have not ran into an issue yet myself. I have been playing since BETA launched.

I recently updated the game, and every time I try to hit the check on Quagmire, the game crashes. I’m pretty sure it’s because I haven’t played it since the Halloween edition, and ghostbuster quagmire was in the process of clearing a banshee. All of my other characters have been checked off their tasks fine, but quagmire keeps making it crash, and I can’t go any further.

I’m just wondering if they’ll ever do a coins to clams trade as I’ve I’ve $1million but not much to spend it on. Or if they’ll release more things to buy buy with coins instead of clams?
If you go by how much a selection of clams cost if you buy them then it works out that $30 coins equals 1 clam.

It means in all my years of gaming, I have not seen an App that will let you trade out in game currency for the item that costs Real Life Money. They would essentially lose their paychecks by doing that. They need to earn money somehow to pay for the creation of the game and the ability to continue to keep it running. Along with all their bills and fees.
I just don’t see that option as ever happening.

I didn’t mean an app outside of the game to trade. I meant that seeing as some items costs clams and lots of people have been playing the game for a while and have got over 1 million coins but not much to spend them on, would they not exchange clams for coins or have an option of buying a clam item for a lot more coins, eg; an item costs 100 clams or 10,000 coins.

Sounds like you need to make more room on your device in order to get the game to work. I know I need at least 2GB of free space for my game.

I know this is two years later, but the same thing is happening to me. My phone as plenty of space, as does my nearly empty SD card. I switched back and forth between the two of them, no change. “This game needs external storage!” I uninstalled and reinstalled three times. No change. All other games and apps are working fine from both sources. I’m about to contact Tinyco, but I think it is funny that the same thing is happening two years later on the same event.

You on Android? If so I’d get that message off n on too. I cleared cache first, then uninstall, then restart device, then reinstall. I’d see it more often if my INTERNAL memory started getting under 1 to 2 GB of space.

well I just got the iPhone 6 plus and went into the game and it had no voices. All the other sounds are there just no voice. I contacted them, but I wanted to know if there was a fix at all.

Just a mess up I guess. I went into it a couple hours later and everyone but my comic con characters had voices then I closed it and went back in and heard all their voices. Well no problems anymore.

My game keeps restarting after trying I try to claim reward from Clam Catastrophe 3. I get a Consuela error message that says Jsonfile, fg_featured_how_to_get_roger_v2.json, not exists. Call FileCacheManager::findFile and assure it exists before looking in JsonCache. I’ve emailed tinyco, but get no response. I’m afraid to uninstall because I might lose my data. Any suggestions?

Interesting one. Give them time to respond back. In the meantime, if you have not saved your game yet to an email or Facebook, I would suggest doing so. Also…I would go right away to your Menu, Account, and take note of your player ID in the lower right (long number). I have a screenshot of mine saved just in case. It is how they can track your game.
I will keep an eye out if I see any others with this issue. Main things outside uninstall are the other basics, like force close and restart your device.

Thanks Bunny! I have tried all the typical restarts, etc. The game won’t allow me to access it’s menu to save an email or Facebook. As soon as I start the game, it goes right to the dialogue between Stan and Quagmire and when I tap claim reward, I get the Consuela error message. When I hit ok, the game restarts itself right back to Stan and Quagmire. It’s a never-ending cycle. 😦

Make sure your game is saved to an email or Facebook account. Do it if you have not already so your progress is saved to one or the other.

I’ve noticed that when you have the house facing towards the west it is correct, but if you rotate the house facing south then it IS switched with the garage on the wrong side.

Correct. As with any building they put in the game, they will give you a few different view points so you can see both sides of the building and have options. But the original design is correct. 😉

So I’m having a glitch in my game, the characters aren’t finishing the tasks. Foe example, let’s say I send mayor west on a task. After a couple of hours I go back into my game and see that he did not complete it. I also have that connection lost message popping up constantly. So far I contacted them, I wrote my email in the message, I just want to know if there are any ways I can contact them? Just so that they actually get the message. Or is just sending them a message through the game enough?

Through the game. If you’re having connection issues that will definitely mess with character tasks. Especially if the game is having trouble syncing up your play.
Check your WiFi signal and always make sure it’s a good strong one.

It’s becoming more of a problem than I thought. I had 9/20 glasses for Stan, when bonnie was done with the task I got another pair of glasses, which makes 10/20. I send her on the task again and exit out of the game. When I come back minutes later I see that I once again only have 9/20 glasses, I click on Bonnie and she drops the glasses again. It’s like I never got the pair, and I never sent her on the task. This doesn’t just happen with Bonnie, it happens with quagmire and other characters too. This happens on both my iPad and iPhone. I contacted tinyco through the game, but I’m afraid that isn’t enough. Can I contact them any other way? I’m really worried because I want everything to be ok, especially for this event. 😦

Contacting through your device is best way. Allow them time to respond.
Before you exit the game til then, see if you can force it to sync by going to Ollie land or face space

I spent loads of time & money (game money) clearing land but now when I try to build on it the game keeps saying I need to ‘nuke’ my town in order to be able to build new buildings on it. This means that all of my Buildings & decoration will go into my inventory and I’d have to place them all over again! And my roads will all be deleted! Is there anyway I can do this without losing my current game set up??

There is info on this all over the site…
Basically if you have your account linked to an email or a Facebook…all the data and progress for your game is saved to it. So you can use any device anywhere you want, just as long as you have the ability to log in and out of your account. I swap around devices all the time.

Just make sure you log in the exact same way you do on the other device. There is a gmail option and just an email option. See if either one will pull up info that it is going to be putting into the Level 50 game. Use the “Log in as someone else” option.
Even though mine is a gmail, I still use the sign in via just email account.

Has TinyCo ever talked about an update for the no sound bug. I figured out a way to get around it, but it’s more of an inconvenience to do it every time I go into the game.
