I have completed all the missions to completely unlock the colonial barn and its not giving me the last thing needed to unlock it. I’ve repeated the process several times for several days and its still not unlocking the last debris. What else do I need to do?

As far as I know, they pulled all the main questlines for American Dad when American Dad left as those items for purchase are gone. I would suggest contacting TinyCo on this one directly from your in game menu.

I have had an issue with a quest asking me to make a holiday gift and for some reason it is not available to make. I can make the striped ones, but not the holiday regular gifts. I have emailed them and they have not responded to me at all.

So when you tap on Santa’s Village, you don’t see two Gift Boxes in there? Just one? You can’t scroll left or right in it through all the listed Gift Boxes?

At that point? No. Now it’s back but it’s locked, says I need the Christmas tree…you know, the one that’s right next to it, the one you start out with. Haha

I know when you FIRST start out the questline ONLY the Holiday one is available and the Striped is locked. As you progress and actually open a Holiday Box as well as start to collect items, then the Striped box unlocks. Then as you progress even more and wrap/open both…once you have all the prizes inside minus the materials, the boxes go away. So as soon you own all the decos/buildings in them…they disappear and the next set of boxes are all that is left in Santa’s Village. So only two boxes to clear in phase one. More will come in phase 2.
So I ask this, if you look through your tasks open in your task menu, where are you in the main questline? Miracle on Spooner street Part…? Can you send me a screenshot of what you are seeing? familyguyaddicts.com

Okay so if I am reading this right, the reason I can’t make any holiday gifts is because I have unwrapped all the gifts that would be included. I updated the app and started unwrapping gifts well before I actually unlocked Lois, and I didn’t get the spooner at quests until after she was unlocked. That makes sense but it sucks that I can’t finish this objective.

Alissa help or anyone. Since the second day of the christmas event, i’m getting the “Could not connect to server” error. It doesn’t disappear, I still got it. But the error is like, saved on my account, I mean I’m trying to login into my account on different devices where the game is at level 1… but right after the login i’m getting the error. I don’t know what to do. I’ve reported it on http://tinyco.helpshift.com/a/family-guy but they didn’t reply me, they’re just ignoring me…

I haven’t been asked to play since last weeks update. I’ve constantly reported the problem on their facebook page and other ways trying to get their attention with no luck. They haven’t even addressed the issue since last week. I was wondering if they had given up the rest of us who still hasn’t been able to play? Thank you for reading.

I am just curious as to why you are posting on their Facebook page? Just a bit of FYI for any business and/or company…Facebook is ran mainly by the PR department and the WORST place to get tech support.
My suggestion is to use the proper routes to contact TinyCo Tech Support. Really the ONLY way you should contact them for any issues. Either send them a message directly through your in game menu so it goes right to them or email them if you can’t get in the game at help@tinyco.com
Any other way and honestly your comments will never be seen.

Oh ok, Facebook was sort of the last resort after all the frustration. I have sent crash reports but I will definitely take your advice for any future problems I have, thank you Bunny, I’m going straight to tinyco tech support, I hope they reply!

Every time I have play the game I have no sound. The music works fine and I am only get audio from two characters. Peter and Chris. But there’s no other Rdio’s from the other characters plus the sound effects don’t work. What do I do? I keep restarting the game but nothing happens

Every time I try to visit other towns it only lets me visit the computers town and doesn’t show my friends towns anymore. It says something like you have revisited the app without logging in first. But I’m logged in through facebook and through email. I have restarted it and re logged in, updated and everything I can think of.

On the Wild, Wild Mayor West Pt. 3 quest, Have Brian Fact Check on the Internet, I have had Brian do this and it not complete the quest. I did it a second time and used clams to complete and it still did not trigger the completion of the quest. Does anyone have a solution for this?

I apologize if I am confused or if this issue has been addressed elsewhere.
I am currently in the quest where I am gathering parts for the blimp. I have the blimp construction site out in the water and my characters have tasks to get the blimp parts. However, if I click on the blimp construction site or the quest icon I get the pop up which has the info about the quest, then below that it says Parts Needed but does not show pictures of the parts or how many I have collected, just a blank green button and then at the bottom a button that says Not ready. If I press the blank green button it takes me to a new pop up that says Grab some Loot and says if I open the box I could win 5 clams. If i click the Not Ready button it says to click on the items to find out how to get them, but again no item pictures are shown and it’s blank where they should be. Wth? Thank you for any info.

How do I get human Rupert? I’ve bought all the other characters you buy but can’t see him to buy anywhere. So can’t get my 100 clms reward.
Also did I miss the spanish soap peter skin and the handsome peter skin? because other skins like pee pants I know I didn’t get but I don’t recall ever seeing these 2 at all.

It’s a bit strange the way the other characters you buy are not limited but rupert is. I think he used to be availiable in the shop when you bought a building. I wonder if he’ll be back

How do I delete friends who no longer play and what is the limit of friends we are allowed to have?

Limit is 40, but I will double check if that’s still in play.
As far as deleting them…the only way to have friends is Facebook, so the only way to delete them is to un-friend them on Facebook and delete them there.

I have the objective to make chris and steve chuck clams shirtless at herberts house. The option only shows up for steve, not for Chris.. how do i get it for chris?

How do you get Facebook friends to show up? And do they have to be using the same version of the game (ios vs. android)? I know I have one Facebook friend who plays actively but I can never see him. I have ios and he has android. I also can’t see any other facebook friends even though I’m sure others must have it and it always says I’m out of invitations (even though I’ve never sent any). Does this mean something is wrong with my account? Should I bother trying to add people to Facebook specifically for this app…will they even show up?

My only suggestion …and this one is tricky so be careful. First go to Menu, Account, and take a Screenshot of your Player ID in the lower right corner. ALWAYS keep that handy.
Next…try this.
If you are unable to view your Facebook friends or invite friends to the game, please make sure to download v1.5 and then follow these steps:
Go to the Account Info page and write down the 32-digit code in the bottom right corner of the screen. This is your PlayerID, which can be used to locate your game if your game gets lost.
Press the blue ‘Delete Facebook’ button.
Go to facebook.com and revoke access to Family Guy app. (This itself is a 3 step process. https://www.facebook.com/help/170585223002660)
Come back to Family Guy and reconnect your game to your Facebook profile.

I’m also having this problem. There is just no option for the task under Chris’s actions. When I hit “go” on the quest, it goes to Chris but doesn’t highlight any action in the list. I was able to complete the action for Steve. I have both clam buildings (clam festival stage and clam exhibition hall). I even reinstalled the game, tried on a different device, nothing.

If I skip a step involving a building for a character (i.e. Jasper and the Dance studio) with Clams, Do I get the building, or just not need it?

I have an iPhone and since yesterday was constantly getting ‘cannot connect to server’ error. I tried removing and readding the game to my phone and now It won’t connect to my Facebook account to load my progress. Help please!!!

My family guy deleted itself when I decdied to connect it through facebook and I don’t know how to get it back 😦 I tried signing in with other accounts but it doesn’t work. Am I able to sign in through game centre ? If so then how would I do that ? Thank you 🙂

How did you originally log in? You have to go in the same way each time. g+, Facebook, email. If you still can’t get in, all I can suggest is contact them.

I see you can rotate buildings, but are you able to rotate them anyway you want or can you only rotate them certain ways, when I click rotate it only rotates twice, making it hard to put them where I want.

Hi, I’ve nearly finished getting the Smiths. Steve only needs 5 records which I’m sure I used multiple characters to collect, but since the xmas update I can only use Cleveland. I don’t have him and I’m way off the 400 clams needed to get him. Am I going mad or is this the only way to get them now??

The task still seems to be there, when I click on Steve he still needs 5/10 records. I click on it and it used to tell me 3 or 4 ways to collect them, now there’s only one (cleveland). I think Chris and Jerome, plus a building, were able to do it but now they don’t have the icon next to them. I dunno if it’s a glitch, there’s been a few lately.

How did you log in originally? You need to make sure you log in the EXACT same way you did on the other device. So if g+, the exact same one. If Facebook, the same. Etc.

Every time I play I am kicked off the game and it deletes all progress I have made in the two minutes (if I’m lucky) time I have managed to play for. It stopped me getting any of the smiths and now it’s ruining the Christmas period 😦 it also took 54 class from me at the weekend and I don’t know where they have gone

Do you have an account created for the game? If so try hard closing, clearing your cachce, uninstalling, restarting your device and reinstalling the game. See if that helps.

Performance Issues!
I’m not sure if it is just me, but I’m finding the performance of the game getting worse and worse. Those periodic lags are getting more frequent, and are affecting the game.
I’ve removed all but about 15 buildings/decorations, and even packed away 20 of the characters. Whether the remaining 20 or so characters roam the street with nothing to do, or are on-task inside a building, seems to make no difference.
My device is not that wimpy… it’s a Nexus 4… and it the game was much smoother with far more on the map a month or two ago. Actually it was fine until the update they did during Comic Con, and only then did the lagging start. But as I said, it’s getting worse even though I’ve removed things off the map.
Is this everyone’s normal experience? Should I be doing something different to fix the problem?

I am trying to send Francine on the girls night out quest, I can send Bruce to make the tub gin but when I attempt to send Francine I get an error pop up telling me confrig empty for id mistletoe in drop. Then it reloads and I have to resend Bruce. Any ideas?

Well it’s been over 3 weeks and the Kindle glitch is not fixed. I have emailed Tinyco and the say they will talk to to the platform carrier. So I missed everything. What can be done? I don’t want to miss the Christmas event coming up?

Ok, so I have this game on my phone and my iPad so I’m playing with two different quahogs and I’m a little bit ahead of the game on my iPad but on my phone it has already automatically unlocked district 5 (pirates cove) it has not however unlocked on my iPad. I’ve tried everything I could think of to unlock it. I’m clearing land that cost 25,000 and up to 40,000 please tell me how to unlock district 5 on my iPad!! Please & thank you!!

Unplayable on kindle fire. I have uninstalled and reinstalled a few times. Keeps freezing after linking my account and asking for an update, but no update is available in the store. Lots of negative comments in the store with the same problem. What’s going on with this?

Hello ladies, so I have just bought a new phone and because of my 2week past facebook lock out (it was hell :-)), I am freaking out about logging in on a new phone. It is an odd glitch to me. I swap between FOUR devices for my account. Logging in n out each time. I have not had an issue yet. I am not sure what causes it. I know that it should NOT happen anymore. Just watch close when you log in to make sure it says YOUR account on YOUR current level before continuing. Also keep that player ID handy at all times. Menu, Account, long number lower right.
