I have been having this same issue. After the Halloween event ended and I updated the game an “unknown error” pops up on the loading screen. I’ve tried everything from restarting my phone to updating it but nothing is working. Do you know anything else I can try?

Let me ask you this… the Characters… were they walking around in your game? If so, check Inventory. If you are speaking of Characters that required items earned to bring them live in the game and you did NOT get all those items… then you lost those Characters as they were not active in the game BEFORE the Event ended.

Hello, now that the event has ended I have no quest to do. I’m at level 56 all of my districts are open and pretty much all of my characters are at max. Do you know of anything that might be coming up?

so i won this terror dog prize in the event. it is similar to meg-roach in that it is an animated pet sort of thing. but i cant seem to pick the *** thing up and put it in my storage or sell it or get it off my map. i cant pig up meg-roach either i dont really want to walking all over my game since its ugly can anyone tell me how to get rid of it?

I searched my friend in game to add. She showed up the first time and I clicked add so the check mark showed and I sent. Ever since I did that, myself or her can’t search each other anymore. Our names don’t pop up in the search bar on either of our phones and we just want to be friends in game so we can visit each others town.

Hey, my problem is that I can’t make any new weapons/cannons in movie prop shack because each time I press “+” everytime a new offer for the movie prop factory pops out.. I don’t have enough clams to buy it, and it keeps on appearing everytime I try to make a weapon. Help?

In my concession stand it only has one option now for conversion and its only popcorn. I’m trying to get Patrick pewterschmidtt but I can only get 5 reels for 135 popcorn and nothing else. I have all these other concessions saved up and can’t use them!

Try to clear that one and more should arrive. Also try scrolling left and right to ensure more arent hidden on the other side of it.

Any idea why pc web version wouldn’t load, if phone version is fine? It has the loading bar, but it doesn’t even attempt to load. Doesn’t even load player id. Works in Opera and Safari, but is so slow, that it’s unplayable. Won’t load in Chrome or Mozilla. Just stays there with unfilled loading bar.

Nevermind. I had meant the Facebook version, but after disconnecting and reconnecting the game to Facebook on mobile, and deleting the app off of Facebook, it started working again. Even fixed the friends not showing up. Thanks, anyway. 🙂

I just started getting headless horsemen and can collect chocolate, but now it’s not letting me trade in popcorn/soda for reels. Glitch or is that supposed to happen?

If you look at each Phase Live post, you will see that the new item takes over, but once used… more options with the other return. There are several posts on this too. 😉

Can I revert back to the regular Family Guy, meaning not having to do the Halloween stuff anymore? I’m tired of having to get those cannonballs and having to wait for them to be ready so that I can hit the werewolves with them so that I can revert the characters back to their regular selves so that I can finish their tasks. Or do I have to suck it up and wait six more days for the event to finish?

Due to some kind of glitch, I’ve lost the Southern Fried Father skin for the Founding Father. So now I’m stuck at part 3 of the Wanna Fight About It quest because I haven’t been able to ‘collect from the Southern Fried Father’. Is there any way for me to recover this skin??

hello,
my game was stuck on the loading screen every time I logged in for over 24 hours. I ended up deleting the game and reinstalling it only to find out that the game lost all of its data. I haven’t been able to restore it and reached out to tinyco for two things and got the same response from them for both:
“Hi,
Thanks so much for sending this in! We have received your error report, and the team is working on a solution. While we don’t have an individual fix at this time, the team will follow up as soon as one’s available. Please also look to new updates in your App Store that may resolve this issue.

I haven’t been able to play the game for 10 days and haven’t really heard from anybody. Is there somebody over there that I can speak to/email? I’d like to get the game back with my 14 months of progress (let alone participate in the current event). I know this isn’t Tinyco, but figured I’d at least attempt this avenue.

Sounds like an automated one. Message right back that you still don’t have the issue resolved. If needed, send a new message. “I lost my game, can you help me recover it?”

Thank you – I just sent another email (responding in my thread) stating that I still don’t have my account restored). I had asked 5 days ago if it was possible to get my account restored and never heard back. I don’t know if they’re inundated with emails or not – it feels like whatever I send isn’t being read.

Does your device have a menu option? Sometimes you can trigger it that way, otherwise hang in there… WordPress made some site changes and we are trying to find a good one that will work best for the site similar to what we had before.

Delete EVERYTHING off your device for the app. Clear all the cache and data for it. Then uninstall it, restart device, and reinstall the app from the app page. Once in the NEW game, log in and LINK it to the NEW Level 1 fresh game. Starting over. Nothing saved. All Money, Clams, Characters, etc. EVERYTHING gone. Once done, you have now created a New game and the old one is gone.

If it is saved to an email or Facebook, it is just a matter of getting to the Menu, logging back in, LOAD the saved game, and back. If you did not save the game… you need to reach out to TinyCo to see if they can track it down for you and put it back.

What is the fastest way to accumulate the most film reels?

Depends on what Questline/Phase you are in. Licorice and other combos in Phase 4
Check the different Phase Live Posts for the appropriate one you are on. Then see the Concession options listed for that one.

I was fortunate to have my game glitch, for once. I found out what the requirements were for the week three challenge, then my game glitch and locked me out which meant it didn’t save the progress. So my strategy now os to collect enough gun powder to make enough cannons to get all 12 clowns before activating the challenge. But that also ties up my concession stand cause I haven’t converted the red ribbons yet. Good strategy? Or do you think I’m over thinking it? I’m still collecting other conversion items so when the stand opens up I’ll be ready to convert to film reels. What do you think?

It is always helpful to Collect in advance. So if you can do it, go for it. Thing with the Challenges is be careful and think if they are really worth it to you… or is it better to let those few decorations go along with the headache and stress of the Challenge for something else, like a Character unlock. Just weigh what options are best for you.

Please help me! I am stuck. In my prop shaft it says that I have 8 out of 8 capacity yet I have zero water balloons and Q or ready. I have tried everything and read all instructions and I am NOT an idiot but this is dumbfounding to me. I am missing out on so much of the event not being able to clear any nuns and not being able to figure out why. I have sent help request – TinyCo and I keep getting Reply that they will get to me soon but since the event is almost over I am hoping that you can shed some light on my dilemma I appreciate your help

It means you’ve made at least 8 of the items in the Prop shack. If you look at each image of the props in there… which one has numbers above it? Where it says “OWNED”. Any of those have amounts that total 8?

I pressed the movie screen to upgrade to the ghost phase. Im at scream level 8. It did unlock ghost characters but the game hasnt spawned ghosts or unlocked the option to create another ‘thing’ like the water balloons and the cannon.

Did you save your game to an email or Facebook? There’s no way your new phone is going to know what your old phone had on it for the game. You need to save your game to an email or Facebook, so when you get an alternate device you can download the app, log in, and LOAD your saved game file from the saved location. 😉

Are you complete with the Questline too? You need to be completed with the Death at the Drive In questline each Phase as well as reach the appropriate Scream Level. It is all noted on each Rundown for each Phase when it goes live.

I know this is a little subjective but I was wondering what was the most worthwhile clam purchases?.. I bought chucky & the stake house. Not sure if other things like Mr fructose is worth it.. ie after the event is over will ge have any use.. Next year maybe?

Premiums rarely are used AFTER the Event. Characters are more likely to come back into play, but almost never for Buildings. I usually spend my Clams on Characters.

My partner is playing the game on an IPad mini. Since the Halloween event started the questlines don’t update. Example, you finish part 1 and part 2 never shows up. He has to log in on my Galaxy S4 for the next ones to show up. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem?

Since this event started, i’ve been having issues with the game crashing & lagging. When phase 3 went live, I waited a couple days & when i tried to play i kept getting the data error so i force closed the game & restarted my device but that didn’t so i uninstalled & reinstalled the game now when I try to reload my progress it doesn’t work. I’ve contacted Tinyco but I haven’t heard anything back yet. Can you help me. I really would hate to lose all of my progress. I’ve been playing the game for year now.

Yes but it doesnt give me the option to load save game. It keeps asking for connect with facebook or google. i’ve cleared the data & cache on my phone. i dont know what else to do

What did you use before? Log back in that same way, then when you see the options to Link to a brand New game or LOAD your saved game file, LOAD it.

In the beginning of the Halloween event I could use popcorn buckets at the concession stand to convert them to film reels, but now I can’t find anywhere to use popcorn buckets now. Are they unusable at a certain point or am I just missing it?

Has there been any new word on the Buddy Cianci Skin timer starting early? The issue is briefly mentioned in a post from over a week ago, then as far as I can tell, never brought up again… and my game is currently at a standstill waiting to hear on a (potential) fix…
I’m currently at the point where I can unlock Slasher Bate Lois, I have around 150ish reels, my Buddy Cianci timer started and ended the first day I began phase 3, and has said, “Expired” ever since…
I had planned to save up 400 reels before buying Slasher Bait Lois, to get the building skin, but if the building skin is lost to me anyway due to a glitch I’d prefer to buy Lois now and move onto Phase III, rather than waste more time waiting to pre-farm 250 reels I won’t even be able to use. But I have no idea if that’s a wise course of action, because I’ve heard nothing about this issue beyond the initial reports.

I’ve noticed that this game wreaks havoc on my data. Over the course of a month I’ll rack up 3-5 Gbs of use and that’s with roughly a 50/50 split between being on witless and bring on cellular. Sometimes I’ll look and I haven’t used much data and then other times it just skyrockets. Does anyone else have this issue and is there a way to limit how much data it consumes?

Use wifi is all I can suggest outside monitoring use on your device. Games like this we highly recommend WiFi because how much is involved

You’d have to ask them. Yours is an isolated issue. That means yours is first I’ve heard of issue. All I can offer is basic troubleshooting. Contacting them and getting their further support is the step you have to take.

Noticed when I get popcorn you can’t trade it normally but when it floats up to the top righthand part of the screen right as you get it if you click on it up there before it dissappears it will take you and let you trade for film reels.

Page 3 of my projection booth is completely checked off and greeted out. Even though I’m not through Lois on page 2. The timer on the skin stopes at least. And the popcorn/soda mix option to trade in the concession stand disappeared too. Anyone else seeing this?

Ok, ignore the greyed out comment. Didn’t realize that page 3 was the first page one. But he mix option is gone from the concession stand. Now it’s only 27 sodas for 10 reels instead of the old 35 for 10.
