Quahog Halloween Walkthrough: Predator vs. Quahog

Hello There Clammers!

Halloween has arrived in Quahog!  And Peter, in typical Peter fashion, has decided to tick off the dead.  In doing so Peter accidentally opens a dark portal in the Quahog cemetery and unleashes all manner of ghosts and goblins on the city…your job is to help round up these ghost, goblins and ghouls!  And there’s no cooler way to do that than with Predator!

Predator is an all new premium character introduced just for Halloween.  And to add him to your Quahog it’ll cost you 250 Clams.  Predator will not only help you earn Banshee tears BUT you’ll also earn more PKE Meters (to help trap poltergeist) as well!  He also comes fully equipped with a humorous questline, one that gets a lot of characters involved.  So let’s take a look at just who the Predator is hunting….

Hello There Clammers!

Halloween phase 2 is here!  It’s time to upgrade those portals and gain ourselves a new Ghostbuster!  Giggity!

Of course TinyCo has armed you with a fun questline to help rid the dead of Quahog (and in some cases raise it)!  By following along with the questline you’ll learn the ins and outs of how to succeed at Halloween, and send the dead packing!

Of course you all know we’ll be here every step of the way to give you that little extra insight and support throughout the update!  So let’s get things started with our quick walkthrough for Week 2 of Halloween…and see just what happens when you search for big busts!

Caption This Clammers!

As you are playing through quest lines, finishing up some tasks, or seeking to get those “rare” items for our characters… you may catch a glance at some of the funny moments that happen in our games. For those of you that are watching and are actually able capture these rather silly and strange things as they happen, we want to see them.

Now comes the fun part, once a week we will be posting these silly images here but want YOU, the readers, to caption them for us. So put on your silly thinking hats, let out that lil comedian inside, and have some fun! (Keep them PG please.)

Quahog Halloween Walkthrough: Diane Simmons in…Hell Hath No Fury

Hello There Clammers!

Halloween has arrived in Quahog!  And Peter, in typical Peter fashion, has decided to tick off the dead.  In doing so Peter accidentally opens a dark portal in the Quahog cemetery and unleashes all manner of ghosts and goblins on the city…your job is to help round up these ghost, goblins and ghouls!  And while he’s at it he’s decided there weren’t enough ghostly figures wandering around Quahog that he goes and digs up Diane Simmons!

Of course once Diane is part of YOUR Tiny Quahog she’s got a bit of unfinished business to attend to!  So let’s get down to the details behind Diane’s questline and her return trip to Quahog!

Remember…Don’t Dig Up the grave (tap the hammer) until AFTER you’ve created Ghostbuster Peter.  Once you “find her” you’ll only have 5 days to unlock her or she’ll be gone forever.  So make sure you craft Ghostbuster Peter first…since he’s the key to unlocking her.

Glitch Report: Missing Terror Dogs

Update 7:05PM EDT: Just got word from TinyCo that they ARE working on this as I write this.  So hopefully it’ll be fixed soon.  However, still send in those tickets so they know exactly who is impacted.

A note on a few other glitches popping up:

Fragrance Factory- If it’s still crashing for you report it to TinyCo it has to get escalated to engineering.  It can (and will) be fixed, but is on a case by case basis.  There won’t be one massive update that fixes it.  So you MUST send in a ticket so they can fix it for you. They are working on an update to repair as many impacted as possible, just please still hang in there while they continue to focus on the issue and get it resolved. Allow them the proper time to get this done. You still need to send in a ticket as it does help a LOT with the troubleshooting process to see actual games that are experiencing it.

Facebook Accounts/Disappearing- IF you use Facebook to log on to TQFS and you’re having issues with your account disappearing and/or your friends disappearing.  Contact TinyCo.  They can fix this but you’ll need to contact them so they’ll know exactly who is impacted and they’ll be fixing these on a case by case basis as well.  So you MUST send in a ticket so they can fix it for you.

Hello There Clammers!

Many of you are reporting that after you’ve cleared a certain number of Terror Dogs no new ones are spawning for you.  The portal says they’re coming but they never appear.

If you’re experiencing this glitch contact TinyCo via your in-game messaging system (more details on how to here) and let them know you’re impacted as well.  We’ve contact them about it as well, and as soon as we have any more info on it we’ll pass it right along.

For now be sure to report it to TinyCo so they know you’re impacted, and they can see how widespread it is.

Also, this post is serving as a reminder that at 3pm PDT (3hrs after Candy Time) Sexy Stewie AND Rupert will be leaving our games…unless you already purchased them.  As of right now, per TinyCo….there are NO plans to extend it. However, our advise is….if you’re going to spend clams to get him, DON’T do so until just before the event ends (so like 2:30PDT).  More details on Sexy Stewie and Rupert can be found here (and we’re still waiting on confirmation about the quests…)

IMPORTANT (and breaking) NEWS:

Sexy Stewie and Rupert have BOTH been extended!

TinyCo JUST announced to us that they’re extending BOTH Sexy Stewie and Rupert until 3pm (PDT) on Wednesday 9/24.

The extension is a direct result of a timing glitch in their system.  The Addicts pointed out this glitch to TinyCo.  It appears the clock for Rupert was set incorrectly, which caused players to see different times from each other in their games.  As a result of THIS glitch they’re extending it.  The extension is for no other reason, other than this timing glitch that’s confused some players.

Candy Time!

Hello There Clammers!

So last night we got a little Halloween preview in Quahog!  Each day a bucket of candy will appear in Quahog…collect the candy each day (which should appear random in color) to unlock Pink Brian!
