Update: Jake is now earning Moon Idols! So now ALL premium characters earn Idols!

Some of you are already commenting…but there is a new update in the Android market! So check out your Play Store for the latest version of TQFS…1.0.12.

Well…the first deal the update (as always) repaired some gliches players have been experiencing. So if you see any new issues with your game please let us know!
Second this update now adds Booty Earning tasks for Consuela, Buzz Killington & Brain Damaged Horse. So some extra incentive to spend those clams!
BUT wait there’s more!
Not only do those 3 premium characters NOW earn Booty….but they earn DOUBLE booty! Pretty sweet right?! Who wouldn’t want to get booty faster?!
I’ve also been alerted by TC that there’s another new feature coming with this update, but it hasn’t hit yet (at least not any of my games)…perhaps they’re waiting till the update hits iOS market to launch it? But for now let’s just say there’s a level of mystery about the new feature…. 😉

Getting Prefix crash, I have to use an older version of the game and simply click Later when it asks me to update, then when it says you need to update for new stuff just close dialog box, you can use your game, I’m very disapointed in the new update and the way they make everything you need to release characters, It’s so tedious, and also when i collect two or more items for the same character it adds all three items as one item, It’s not good considering the time scale to open all this up before the latest quests ends. 😦

Random question wasn’t SM Louis earning x2 booty were her tasks? Because I think I’m just getting regular amounts? Is that just me or anyone else experiencing this?

She should still be earning that. Check out my overall post to compare to what you see in your game. It is two times what the normal characters are getting.

My journal skipped page 4. I have no idea what it said. Anyone else experience that? If any of the blog writers have screen shots of the journal – compiling those pages would be a cool (appreciated) post.

Hmmm… Bonnie’s poolboy task has decreased from 1 hour to 1 minute since the update.

does anyone have an idea what part 3 of this update will entail? we knew part 2 was the pyramid countdown clock but no idea what part 3 is. anyone know anything?

I was hoping that this update was going to resolve my issues with neighbor Quahogs. Has anyone else been experiencing the same thing? I haven’t seen any other mention of it, but I’d say about a week ago, whenever I try to visit a non-Ollieland Quahog, I get the Consuela error message: “An error occurred loading your neighbor’s Quahog.”
Since there really isn’t a huge benefit to visiting other Quahogs, it’s not a big deal, but it is starting to get a little annoying.

Yes, there is a known issue with the neighbor visits for this event. We did mention it in the main post for the event.
They are still working on it. In the meantime, all you can do is send you info from your game menu, help & settings, and contact them to let them know you are one of the ones impacted by it.

I downloaded the update but now i cant log in. I get a message saying Download Error

Contact TinyCo then. If all troubleshooting has failed, they are the next step. An email is in the post for you to use since you can’t get in your game.

It depends on how big their backlog is. Could be a couple days, could be a week.

OK im starting to Max level Characters, Ive got Quagmire, Bonnie, and Bruce at level 15 but the nice thing is that they still drop Moons at their tasks 1hr= 8 Moons.
My Player XP has been at Max 40 for a while so that’s not advancing, but the $ is accumulating.
I saw someone here suggest that there should be a $ to Clam converter factory, that would be nice.

A $ to clam converter would be amazing! Even if you needed a ton of coins for only a few clams, more ways to earn clams would be helpful to people who can’t/won’t spend real money on them.

Personally…I’m a fan of Consuela. She makes me giggle.

Consuela for this event. Her 30 minute task with Peter earns 20 booties which is a very good rate, imo.

I got the message of the premium characters earning the butts, before I updated the app. So that seemed an in-game update, separate from the app-update 🙂

besides, does anyone got an idea why Jake Tucker isn’t in the list of butt earning characters? He is the only premium they didn’t add to the premium butt earning list?

My guess is it has to do with how many clams he costs vs the other premium characters. But that’s just my guess…

And yet again tinyco miss out poor jake tucker.
I know he is only 50clams but that is still premium currency. Yet every time he is skipped. I havent got an Android so I dont know but I think its safe to assume Jake doesnt even earn clams, never mind 2x, right?
Why make him a premium character only to ignore him everytime theres a premium bonus… In theory He should your first premium character the one that will make you want to get the others, instead it completly put me off. The simpsons gives away a premium character for free and though he has less tasks he still has the bonusses!
Sorry for the small rant, just think poor Jake has had enough set backs and derseves something positive lol.

Lol. Well don’t forget the regular main characters are being forgotten too. Joe, Lois, and Meg to name a few. There are more characters earning Booty for this event then I have seen in any other game so far. I myself am happy they are adding even more characters to the list. 😉

Already have all available premium characters so big plus for me n both Buzz n conseula was on 12 hour task before update so big bonus I’m making close to 4000 booty a day almost have 35000 total n close to 20000 to spend 🙂 get paid this weekend so looking forward to what they will have to offer to get some big booty :p

OK, since I already had the clams on hands, that tipped the price point for me to finally scoop up Buzz. Plus I have room for his house now: a nice seaside manor on the southern tip of Asiantown 🙂 Thanks for the info!
Too bad they aren’t yet letting us level-up past 40, since I got there today. Even though it’s a meaningless number, it’s still a fun way to keep score versus you people! (Although to be fair, apparently, they never thought I’d get this far….)

It will be nice when TinyCo starts the approval process with Apple first, then waits a few days and starts Googles (quicker) process. TSTO seems to have no problem synchronizing their multi platform release dates……just a thought. 🙂

I see no reason why Android users should suffer a delay just because of Apple’s Walled Garden. We all should sleep in the bed we’ve made for ourselves, imo.

TOO TRUE….LOL..But, both would be released the same day, no delay to be “suffered” by any player, regardless upon which bed they have chosen to sleep, just good business practice, wouldn’t you agree? 😉

Some of us play on more than one device and if I update my tablet, I can’t load my game on my iphone to play when I am out.
This isn’t about the never ending system slap-fight, its about providing a smooth play experince for as many players as possible. The only time I would agree with you is if the android version had a specific problem that needed to be fixed asap.

It’s a pain I agree. It has more to do with approvals from the iOS and Android stores than anything…Android is super fast at doing it, iOS takes FOR-EV-ER

On my iPhone I just set all my characters too overnight tasks and my BDH had idols attached to its earning value. Sorry didn’t take a screen shot.
Also a bit off topic but does anyone have stewie or any other regular character other then Cleveland after unlocking Tricia. I unlocked Tricia a few days ago and did a tasks for her but that was it. I haven’t had any other regular quest line running along side the pyramid ones.

One thing I’ve noticed after the update on Android is a good one: zombies now appear while you are logged into the game as opposed to only appearing when you log in.

And what about Jake Tucker? I spent 50 clam smackeroos to get him, and he pretty much does nothing. I should’ve went with Consuela or Buzz, or even BDH, but they were so expensive. I wish Jake would earn some butts!
