UPDATE: Make SURE you’ve updated to the latest version of TQFS. I know this may slow your mummy spawn rate, but this could also be why your game is crashing. So if you haven’t updated, update & try it again. Let us know if the throne returns for you!
Hello There Clammers!
Just a quick post to let you know about a known glitch we’re seeing involving King Butt’s Throne. Multiple players are reporting that when they go to place it the game crashes on them and upon reentry into Quahog the Throne has vanished from their store.
If you’re experiencing this glitch….
First double check your inventory to make sure it’s not there.
If it’s not there file an in-game report with TinyCo that it’s missing, if your having issues with the in-game report email them via the email address on the contact post.
Finally, post that you’re having the glitch issue in the comments below. If possible include a screenshot of your game id . You can include it via link. We’ve alerted our contacts at TinyCo to the glitch & directed them to this post. So if you’re experiencing the glitch make sure you report it here as well.
Remember…Don’t just report the glitch here. Make sure you Contact TinyCo via the in-game help as well.

Family Guy Addicts 
Yesterday I was finishing up the fireworks quest. I wasn’t ‘click-happy’ or anything but I completed the quest when I logged in. I heard the cheer sound but no pop up or any rewards. Then I got interrupted and had to close the game. Now I can’t get into the game anymore. I get this error ” config empty for id july4thquestP4 in goals”. The only option is to press Ok and then the game loads again. This happens over and over again so I can’t report to them in-game. If I uninstall and re-install will I lose my Quohog and have to start all over?

If you created an email account or Facebook/Google link…your game is saved and safe. Send a message to help@tinyco.com (if no accounts) otherwise do the uninstall/reinstall.

I have had the glitch issue for days now. I haven’t received a response from TinyCo yet. I think they should extend the event for the people that had the glitch.

How does the multiplier work? Should I be getting the 20x for each character action?

The multiplier just adjusts the 150 base idol reward..example: 1x= 150, 2x= 300, 10x=1500…etc. it has zero effect on task earnings. 😉

Different (possible) bug question — it seems like since the last update the butts from my magma shrine aren’t going toward the total score. I have to wait another 8 hours before I can double check but I’m just wondering if anyone else has noticed this, if they got the shrine?

I didnt get the quest to Build the Throne until i updated my game.. mine was Crashing everytime i tried to Visit a Neighbor..Checked for a Update and there it was. All good now.. throne will be Ready in 6more hours.. yay. king butt here i Come

since this 1.0.14 update (or the really fancy throne addition) I have not seen mummies spawn from the pyramid, only when you first launch the game, i contacted tinyCo in-game and they said it should spawn much faster now, well, thats a lie, it was spawning at 2-3 mummies every 60 seconds, now i see none unless i leave the game running for about 2 hours. (this is on iOS 7.11 on a iPhone 4S btw)
I have deleted the app and downloaded it again from iCloud, unlinked and relinked Facebook and still can’t see how I will reach 100,000 moon idols now. I’m only on 53K lvl 40 so thinking of just giving up after spending real money on this game.

my game just goes on a loop from the error, cant send a message to the helpdesk, cant play, tried reinstall and sync with data from facebook and still getting a middlefinger from the game. where is that rooster when you need a good fight

I haven’t heard anything from their team yet and I still am unable to play my game. I even removed the game from my phone and reinstalled, I still get the same error “config empty for id lapgoal 1 in goals”

Mine crashed then disappeared from the store, but the update did fix it and now it’s building. My phone hadn’t notified me of the update but when I went into the Play store there was one waiting.

Glitch? We’re not creative enough to come up with two more journal entries, so we just deleted the tab. Wait… no wait… you just didn’t see them fast enough. And… bronze and silver, but no gold?… have you seen the Olympics? TinyCo should have done two things: a) had a roadmap and b) stuck to it. This whole thing has ended up being a letdown.

Slightly off-topic, but in this update I’ve also noticed the mummy release rate has increased. Does anyone know by how much? They seemed to spawn 2 or 3 every minute.

Actually I get a Sh**load of mummies every time I go to play hourly! it’s the one thing that has improved in the game.

I spoke too soon, I,found a Glaring Glitch!.
When you click the pyramid to see the game progress, several tabs are now missing, like the one that tells you the story progress!
Is anyone else having this problem?

Yes, a few players are having the same issue. However, many are not. Seems it’s a random glitch impacting only certain players…and it may just be iOS.

Same thing was happening to me. When I tapped the throne to buy it, the game immediately crashed. Then the throne went MIA. LOL…Figured I needed to finally update my iPad and Presto!!….all better! But I will miss the mummy-spawn-a-thon. 😦

Had to update (which I didn’t want to do) on both my ios devices, then had to hard reset both devices. It still doesn’t work on my iPad, but it finally worked on my iPhone 5. Unfortunately, after all that, it requires a worker who won’t be available for another 16 hours.
I have to say that with the updates during this event, the game has become nearly unplayable on my iPad. Given that it never has been a very good experience on the iPhone because all the text is too small, I may need to consider giving up on the game if they can’t fix the memory demand issues soon.

As soon as I tried to buy the throne, my game crashed. I don’t have it in my inventory as you’ve reported. Thanks so much for letting me know I’m not the only one!! I have sent an in-game message. Thanks again!!

For once I’m not having a glitch with the game, I got my throne from the store and placed it and it’s building right now, It’s a 12 hour quest.
But I first clicked on King Butt in the task bar when I placed it, butt it was in the store!

I am having a problem since king butt launched an hour ago. I also purchased my first clams at the same exact time. The error I received says “config empty for id lapgoal 1 in goals” and won’t let me play the game anymore. I had already placed the throne and then purchased the $9.99 clams to get consuela. When I reloaded the game a few minutes later it wouldn’t load and I received the error mentioned above. This leaves a bad taste in my mouth regarding purchasing clams in the future.

Your 32 digit game Id is not on the loading screen… It’s in the account info screen in the settings, bottom right side
