Hello There Clammers,
Just a quick post because a lot of you have been asking for various strategy tips when it comes to collecting Jelly-Yo shots. So I wanted to share with you what I’m doing in my A game….
Note: My B game is basically a game for this blog. Where I rush every task so I can do posts giving you guys the details of an event/update. So in my B game I used clams to rush the tasks to accumulate the shots for that post (hence why there are so many in the photos). However, my A game is for my enjoyment. I do buy clams, but I don’t rush things…I play the way you guys do. I’m no where near enough idols to collect all the prizes & I’m ok with that.
So in my A game my strategy is simple. Collect as many shots as I can before using any of them on King Butt. Basically I just keep collecting shots & let the timer run out each day on the first part (where it’s 3 shots 1x bonus). I never hit the DEFEAT KING BUTT button. I just let the timer run and keep collecting shots.
Now the first time the timer runs out (if you have enough shots) Peter will come up with the dialog saying you completed the first part of the task. EVEN IF YOU DIDN’T PUSH THE DEFEAT KING BUTT BUTTON. It’s really important that you know that. The timer will restart but you’ll still only need 3 shots of 1 color…as long as you don’t hit the button.
This is how my A game looks right now. The timer reset once already…but I’m building up a decent shot bank.
Keep letting the timer run down and collect as many shots as you can. THEN when you feel you have a decent amount & can keep collecting from characters, start to turn them in. This will maximize your streak & speed up the entire process.
Remember take FULL advantage of the clock after you’ve started the streak. The clock is your friend. There is NO need to DEFEAT KING BUTT within seconds of the clock resetting. Maximize your earning potential with Peter, Cleveland & Quagmire and rundown the clock each day.
Just be careful and don’t let it get to 0 once you’ve started the streak. If the clock gets to 0 and you haven’t pushed the button…you’ll have to start all over again at 1x. However, your shots will stay in the game (the ones in your bank).
Also, don’t let it go too long before you start defeating him. You’ll want to take full advantage of the earning potential too. So I would say by the end of the weekend make sure you start defeating him to earn as many idols as you can before it ends. Of course if you’re already sitting on 100,000 idols (or close to it) you don’t have to worry so much about it…
Now here’s another piece of advice. Don’t purchase any Shot Earning items until we know what’s coming in the game. The stalls could still make an appearance this weekend. And you don’t know what you can earn on your own. So be sure to try and maximize what you earn on your own BEFORE you purchase the Sarcophagi.

I think each of the three that collect shots only give one of the two colours each time so if you need a spacific colour you need to check which they drop this is particularly relivent to Peter as original Peter and Aventure Peter drop different colour shots to see which colour tap the box when selecting and it shows you which two colours it could be. With Quagmire and Cleveland you don’t get a choice but you can tap the box to see which colours they drop.
I hope this helps some people, but wish I’d read this first and would have waited and built up a stash before cashing the shots in as you recommended.

Do you have any idea the number of shots you need to get at each stage of the bonus multiplier? It’s 3, then 8, but then it’s?
I’m at 45000 so sadly I doubt i’ll get up to 100000 ._.

Max is 40 shots of 1 color, at 50x. That will just repeat itself.

Great work on the posts and your response to that post about stealing an idea of Facebook :).
Do you know hoe many moon idols are awarded if you get the max x50 steak? I’ve only defeated the king once and after reading your post am tempted to start again and build up my shots for the final day I the hope I can get to 100,000. I currently sit at about 67,000 so really wanna get there as I feel like I’ve spent too long not to get there.

Are the numbers consistent? Do you always need 3 shots for the first, 8 for the second… ? Or can they change?

Booty boxes for 4000 idols i got 15000 idols 20 clams and a bunch of decorations i can now get king butt so glad tiny co added something to use the idols on

Just saw the Brian Booty Box Sarcophagus, says it has decorations & booty inside – for 4,000 idols. Do you see any benefits in getting this? I’m pretty sure the prize inside is no where near 4,000 butts…

Seems like a shame mostly the people who will get 100,000 is mod/hacked games… The other people who will get it, is people who spent way to much hard earned money… Didn’t yall know, milk and food in your fridge is less important than this game… Silly TinyCo, You think you’ll survive till the end of the year.. Not this way…
At times I want to hold down the icon on this game and then press the X to delete… Think soon this will be what actually happens to myself and many others.

I agree with your “X delete” comment. Games should make you feel happy and help take you away from RL, if only for a brief time (not aggravate and infuriate). I have over 100,000 idols, “butt” only because I bought the premium characters, 3 shrines, unlocked all the outfits that payed double and most importantly…didn’t update my game for days and took full advantage of the spawn rate glitch. You’d think I’d be “happy” that I’ll soon have the King Butt and Golden Trophy……but, instead in feel…….meh!

New Booy Box Whooop
When i woke up there was a new sarcophigi that costs 4000 butts i couldnt wait to try, first 3 goes i got 10 clams, 5500 butts and lincoln memorial! Pretty sweet as those butts go straight in to the quest total!! Dunno weather to go for it an spend all my butts or wait till last day! Happy they finally did something for the freeniums!

Y’all should check out new booty box lots of gud prizes for booty n it gives more booty that adds to overall score!!!! I already got over 100000 so I’m fine but everyone they need a boost shouldn’t hurt to try I think 4000 booty for each box but gots quagmire plane and petercopter n the 50 thousand Abraham Lincoln statue n also gives out I think 5000 booty 6000 n 8000 so if u think about it the booty u spend u get back to get another booty box n it still adds to overall score 😉 sounds pretty gud right if I was y’all I would wait til the end of the event n give it your all to get that 100000!!! So gud luck everybody hope this helps a lot Idk if it was a update or what cuz I just stumbled across it or Idk if it’s been there haven’t seen or heard of it til now o n also it gives two pretty cool statues that u can’t get elsewhere either n clams as well not many but enough for the ppl that don’t have nun to use all that booty on!!! lol ;p

Hmm, nice strategy. But I think letting the timer reset is a good option too. The final multiplier costs 40 Jell-O shots. If you reset the timer you can get the easy multiplier butts again. If I recall the first is 3, second is 15?, third is 25? and the final one is 40. If you keep resetting you don’t need to rely on one colour of 40 all the time which may be difficult.
1500+3750+7500=12750
But this is not how I managed to get 86,000. I’ve actually spent no money on Jell-O shots. I had around 35,000 butts left over after unlocking the costume and Cleveland. Im not sure what specific number I was but I didn’t unlock the man of danger.
Invest your butts into the Booty Box which costs 4000 butts. You have a chance of getting an item or butts. The highest I received was 7000 butts which I managed to get three times alone. The best thing is you can reinvest in these butts and buy more boxes to get even more butts. The lowest amount of butts I received was 5000. Even the lowest amount will allow you to buy another one. You might actually wish not to get the items which I have now managed to obtain several skating parks that I will never use. (I ended up with 4 alone).
I’m confident I will get a score over 100,000 by the time the event is over. I was probably very lucky with the booty boxes but I wanted to share that I think letting it reset and getting the easier multipliers should result in a steady 12,000 butts or enough to buy 1 booty box a day is a good way to beat the event. Just pray to the random generator gods.

The first section was mainly aimed at players who spend money on Jell-O shots, since I don’t think it’s possible to get x 40 bonuses yet without spending clams.
I’m also guessing the item that drops Jell-O shots should be introduced tomorrow. The real question is will it cost clams/money or even butts to build?

Also, tbh I don’t think I can reach 100,000 butts I’m at 50,000 right now … If I reach the 50x streak I don’t get the king butt character right …
The event was fun, I hvnt spent a single dime on the game n it sucks tht I wouldn’t b able to get king butt, I’ve been playing the game religiously I’m on level 40 now with everything unlocked well almost all my land cleared too …
I feel they should add more characters to the jelly shots … Duno y Joe is left out!!!
Oh and also a Booty Box worth 4,000 butts has popped up .. Duno if I shud get it 😬

Booty boxes!!! Totally made this event IMO! Got 20000 butts and 10 clams so far out of 8 boxes! I have 70000 left to spend but ima hold off n see what else happens. I’ve got enuf to get king butt n the gold trophy so I guess I’m on coast…booty boxes=yes please!

Hello Alissa:).
Could you explain a bit more how the idols work for when you reach the higher levels of jell yo? Is it 25 X 25 when you complete that one or is it 150 X 25. Also, how do the levels go after you reach 50? Does it go straight to 1500, 3750 etc or are there more levels in between?

It’s 150×25 and when you get to the top it stays at 50x (7500 idols) as long as you keep beating KB before the 24 hour timer expires. Also, I’m the new guy.. 😉 (hopefully I’ll earn some of that awesome praise too….I know Alissa & Bunny think the same of you.) 😉

To Everyone reading this, if you are planing on buying the new booty box don’t. Buying this will not get you king butt. This item is just another false glimer of hope. I tried this accursed object five times in hope of getting some more booty or one of the new decorations. All it got me was 4 regular coin items, not even the expensive ones and a petercopter, which I have no use for. So for those of you wanting to purchise a booty box read this and beware, this item will not be your salvation, it will be your doom.

Hi all, been reading y’all’s comments for a while..have 70k idols..it’s gonna be close.. My alarms are set for 4 hour periods. .ugh..Is there a way to post a pic of my Quahog? I’m contemplating on never defeating King Butt until the last day. I’ve defeating him 3 times, but it costed about 150 clams… which was dumb on my part.
My tentative plan is to keep gathering shots and trying to see if I can beat him 5 times in a row on the last day of the event. As in defeating him back to back in one day.
It seems impossible to defeat him once a day with the 4 hour tasks mixed with sleeping and work…
Think that would work? I’m at 78,000 gold butts and would like to unlock everything since I’m fairly close.

In defeating King Butt, I am at the 14 shot stage. If I let the timer expire, do I get to start back at 3 shots, or keep going from the 14 shots?

I’m resigned to the fact that I won’t get enough moon idols for king buttocks, I sit at 69,000 and get about 3,500 a day and will end up well short even if I purchased shot sarcophogi and stalls and hurried tasks. I did the math and have to spend forty bucks to earn king b, not worth it IMO. I spent the clams for one sarcophogis and hit the badonkadonk shrine which has pushed my numbers higher than I had expected. I will play the shots game but don’t expect to accumulate much from it as I need to sleep and work and eat. Not the great ending to the event I was hoping for, I just wanted boosts to all characters and tasks to produce more idols. That would have been more advantageous to accumulation. Instead we get a game that is stacked in their favor and takes away the earning potential of three characters who would be better used spamming one hour tasks. They supplement by adding an overpriced insult of a secondary acquisition mean and have the audacity to hide the fact that you may only win eight shots not the twelve that it first appears to be of the lowest number. I can’t wait for this event to end and let my quahog go back to normalish. Meanwhile I’m stuck with gaudy decorations and buildings that have nothing to do with the family guy canon. I just realized I’m whining so I will stop there.

Hey they have a sarcophagus now that costs only 4000 butts. I love it I have done it many times I got 10 clams, 5500 butts and 7000 butts and two air gardens (which I could care less about). I was afraid I would not make it to the 100,000 as well but I think with this I might.

Wow well I’m sorry you feel that way. IF you read this blog at all you’d see that in the comments ALL over since King Butt was released I’ve talked about this strategy. This post was just me putting those comments to a post finally.
Not to mention the fact that I don’t even use Facebook. I’m slightly busy running two sites with millions of hits and working my day job to be caught up with what’s written on Facebook.

Good advice thanks! This is exactly what I intend to do too. I only need around 13000 butts so 1 run all the way thru to x50 and I should be golden! Im at 37,000 idols and i feel like i play very regularly…i think i can get to 50,000…maybe 70,000… but 100,000 is a HUGE stretch! I REALLY want him as a character! I dont know if i can do it! What do you think of my total? Is it possible?

Honestly, I don’t. You’re about where I am. Unless you get REALLY lucky with King Butt and the shots, it may be pretty far out of reach. To me..the goals in this update = epic fail at making players feel like they can accomplish everything.

Don’t push it until you’re ready to start the streak. Once you start the streak don’t let it hit 0 otherwise it’ll all reset.
